They don't answer their phone, I left multiple messages and zero returned calls on their end. It took 3 emails before I finally got a reply and then they didn't even answer all my questions in regards to getting a time and day scheduled. I emailed again and two days later NO REPLY! On their website there is a supposedly a way to schedule online but that didn't work either. Thankfully Groupon refunded my over $500 purchase. Do not deal with this company!

HOWEVER, while the establishment and materials were of quality, the owner/host was did not have that every this particular night. I am not sure if it was just a bad night for her on because it was a Tuesday (when she's usually closed) that made her have a bad attitude. Our guest arrived 15-20 minutes in advance and while the start time was not until 7:00pm, she was very snappy with turning our guest away and telling the the event did not begin until 7:00. Her demeanor was not inviting nor friendly. They waited in the car and did not feel comfortable entering until the birthday girl arrived. At 7:00 when we entered, while we were all in a good mood, we felt like we were walking on egg shells when it came to using her materials or asking questions. We couldn't grab our own choices of doormats. She said this was her policy, but how she convert that was of poor taste. Again it wasn't what she said, but how she said it. I will be honest and say tried to fix her attitude during the explanation of directions, however we could feel her irritation. Her communications and expectations were not properly communicated. Hence why she was annoyed by how we were using the paint... not to her liking. You were to put it ON the doormat, NOT on the table paper. She never said that. We all have bad days, but in a business where hospitality and a welcoming demeanor is necessary to keep your customers coming back or making referrals, that energy needs to be minimized as much as possible. She didn't say we had done anything and even the birthday girl's mother-in-law said she think she just had a bad day. I gave her four stars because our doormats came out great. Also while she attempted to change the trajectory of her attitude and we ultimately had to make our experience what it was and for the most part we all enjoyed eachother. I'll likely be back, because I believe in supporting Black Women always. I pray my experience when I go back with other is better. I believe in her.

This is a glass fusion studio. I went with a small group (about a dozen) to take the Fused Glass…read moreBasics class. The outcome was a 6 inch bowl designed by me. This was a pretty fun outing -- with a surprising number of budding artists in our group. Credit must be given to the 2 owners for making the education part fun, informative, and interesting. The first 30 minutes is a presentation of how to handle the glass, break it, shape it, stack it, etc. Each person starts with a clean slate. There are loads of different types of supplies -- very thin shards, speckles of glass, all colors and then tools to shape your design. From an uneasy feeling that we were going to fail, the intro gave us the confidence to produce our masterpieces. You will not take home your masterpiece that evening. It has to melt and be shaped, so expect some days to pass and a return trip to pick up your item. If you're with a group, you can bring snacks, but snacking pretty much ends when glass manipulation begins. The two artists circulate and provide design advice but you are the artist.

I took the "Introduction to Glass Mosaics" class this weekend with a friend and had a very positive…read moreexperience. The project was to make a trivet. We walked in and all the materials and tools were laid out for each of us at stations. They had 4 examples of completed projects for us to review and even templates to make it easy if we didn't want to create our own design (although seems like everyone did their own design in our class). The teacher, Missy, was very thorough in her initial explanation of steps to complete the project and walked around to make sure to answer questions or give guidance. The good part was that with this particular project (not the case with others), we walked away with our trivet and didn't have to come back to pick anything up, which was a relief since it's not close to my house (while it was totally worth it for the 3 hour class, might not have been fun to drive all the way back another day just to pick something up). This was a fun activity to do with a friend or on your own and would definitely recommend it.
