I had a leak in a bathroom some months back due to a plumber not securing the water flow tightly. The water ran across the floor and warped a vanity, and black mold developed behind it. Even though I cleaned it, I wanted to be certain there was no mold danger. I picked Fire Water Pros based on the one positive review, but I really lucked out! They were fantastic. This team really know their construction work. They removed the vanity and drywall and discovered more extensive water damage. I told them to go ahead and fix everything damaged with adjacent walls, which were in the laundry room and one in the family room. Chris provided a detailed and easy to read estimate, including photos. They were amazingly quick and efficient, and even went above and beyond what they promised. The whole job took about two days, and only because they had to wait for paint to dry. They sprayed the area with mold-resistant stuff, installed new dry wall, painted and installed a new vanity I'd bought. They also hauled away the old sink and vanity. The entire job cost about $1200, because it included several walls and new drywall. It was spot on with the estimate provided. They were courteous, quick and cleaned up after themselves. Early on Christmas day, the owner of the company, Christopher Dailey, showed up ready to help us. They have been wonderful to work with - from the onset Chris made us feel comfortable and taken care of. His communication was excellent throughout, he really helped us navigate all aspects of the clean up - insurance, mitigation, and rebuild. I contacted Fire Water Pros when a water issue arose in my home involving water and mold. Chris came to my house that day to assess the job and provide a quote. We could not get anyone else to come for over 10 day to even provide us a quote. He was on time, professional and explained to us in detail the work that should be performed. I had a flood in my kitchen on a weekend, and by the time I discovered it, the Pergo floor was damaged. I got a plumber early the next day and luckily he told me about Fire Water Pros. So I immediately called them and they were out to my house the same day. It is a wonderful company to deal with. They brought heavy equipment (dehumidifiers) and big rubber pads to dry everything out. It took 3+ days and every day the workmen arrived at my house exactly on time to measure the moisture. If I called with any questions, Chris was always there to help. They were very efficient and helpful and also reassuring that things were indeed drying out. I had a faulty washing machine hose that was located in the upstairs closet of my loft.
