Firearms Depot short-shipped an in-stock item (when I ordered it and got an order confirmation) and, to-date, has not refunded half of the shipping charges. I don't feel obligated to pay shipping charges for the full order when all in-stock items were not shipped. I called Firearms Depot twice and sent three e-mails. They did refund the purchase price the short-shipped item, but not half of the associated freight charges for the order. I've placed 10-15 orders with Firearms Depot over the years with no problem, but will probably start looking elsewhere. Their customer service seems to be going downhill. Too bad. read more

Do not do buisness with Firearms Depot. Without my authorization, this company sold my information and email address to what the owner "Joe" described as a "3rd party advertisement" company. The issues began, when I started receiving 3 emails each day from this company. I logged in and unsubscribed, but the link that's in the email doesn't unsubscribe. I sent 3 seperate cease and desist emails to the 3 emails they had listed on thier website. After about recieving 80 emails in a 1 month span, and unsubscribing around 15 times, I called and spoke to the company owner. The owner was rude and disrespectful from the beginning. After explaining the situation to him, he repeatedly interrupted and advised just to unsubscribe. I explained to the owner 4 different times that the link did not work in which he replied, he wasn't a computer coder, and the advertising is done through 3rd parties. Joe took no responsibility for his company's actions, nor could he explain why my informatiom was given to the sales party without authorization. I requested the buisness address for formal legal paperwork in which the Owner refused to give me. This was later discovered through the state of Florida's LLc lookup. I told Joe that I didn't want any contact with him or his buisness, in which he continued to argue with his only resolution being to unsubscribe. Save yourself the trouble. I found a Desert Eagle I was looking for on Gunbroker being sold by Firearms Depot. Price was below what others were selling this model for. Emailed to verify they had the gun in stock. They called me within 24 hrs to say "Yes, the gun is new and in stock". I placed my order. Order was processed and shipped within 48 hrs. Gun arrived at my FFL 3 days later. It was exactly as described. Communication was great and I am still amazed at their price. Placed another order with Firearms Depot a few weeks later on Gunbroker for 2 magazines for the Desert Eagle. Items shipped 2 days later and arrived via FedEx in 3 days. I see a lot of customers have had issues. Maybe they've addressed past issues? I will order from Firearms Depot again. read more

We call, they can't explain website inventory discrepancy. We try to see if they have 4 other guns we are willing to buy instead... None at any distributor. We decide to buy a version without the optic included and they send us a code for free shipping for our inconvenience. The code doesn't work, then they inform us they can't find our FFL cert. At that point we take the refund and move on to real professionals. Avoid like the plague, this place cares not about the customer. After reading some of the reviews I figured I'd throw in my experience. I did make a large ammo order and there was a missing item from the order. One email to customer service cleared up the issue. It was quick and easy. They had the best inventory of ammo compared to other sites I order from. Glad I gave them a try and I'll be ordering from them again. I ordered ammo from them, found them through Ammoseek. The order process and delivery was quick and smooth. Unfortunately I only got half my order. I contacted them and they quickly and refunded me for the portion I did not receive. Based on other reviews I read since my order it seems a common issue that they have items listed in stock that they don't actually have. If they had another great deal on something I wanted I'd probably give them one more chance because of the good customer service I received. read more

My husband ordered a new pistol from them. When he went to pick it up it was missing the optic that was supposed to come with it. The FFL told him that should be easy enough to remedy and had already signed it over to him. But when we reached out to the customer service manager, they basically told him they would do nothing because he had taken the gun home. We wanted the extra accessory we had paid for, it wasn't about the gun. When we pushed the issue they started threatening to report my husband to the ATF and report his new gun as stolen if he put in a complaint with the credit card company. That's why they there were only 2 separate shipments, and I couldn't see the individual items sent to the FFL. I should have looked at these reviews before I purchased 4000 rounds of 9mm. Ammo was repackaged from the original manufacturer's case boxes and placed into their shipping boxes as loose 50 round boxes. The ammo came with crushed boxes and one 50 round box short! They will not make it right. I've ordered ammo from so many companies in the past 25 years and never have had this experience. I ordered 4 boxes of .45 ACP, they subtracted the money from my checking account, and emailed a tracking number. The ammo arrived and it was 1 box of 9mm Makarov. When I called their customer service, I was told to send the ammo back and when I did, they would send out the 4 boxes. I protested and asked why I was being punished for their mistake and they needed to send my .45 acp immediately. They proceeded to send me a return label and said I would have a refund for the entire amount because they had NO MORE .45 ACP in their warehouse. WARNING! Do not buy from this vendor!!! Feb 16 I placed an order for a case of 1000 rounds 9mm Magtech ammunition, a MagPull ar-15 magazine, and a Smith and Wesson shield plus mag. A couple days later I received a call from firearms depot. They stated my whole address didn't come through when I placed my order and asked that I verify my address. I confirmed the shipping and billing address and was told my order would be shipping shortly. The next day the one ar-15 magazine shipped. I received it a few days later still waiting for the other products to ship. Eventually I received an email from "customer support" with the tracking for the remain two packages. I waited a week to receive them only to find out it was returned to the sender because they didn't not update the address for these packages only the first one. I emailed them again asking if they could reship it to me in which they denied doing that without me paying 20$ extra for the shipping. I said no thank you and that I would like a refund. I received a email for the money for the ammo not the magazine. I contacted them via email again and they claim to not have received the magazine back and refuse to refund me for it although I have the tracking and proof of receipt that they in fact did. So I wouldn't have gotten my stuff even if I payed to reship it. They signed and received both packages back and I never came I possession of them. I now have had to go through the process of contacting my credit card company to get the remainder of the money. The "customer support manager" Joe was unhelpful and refused to take any responsibility for their mishap. Also do not bother trying to call them, they will not answer.
