I had a door knocker who came by to check my roof due to recent hail storms. He indicated that there are a lot of hail damages on my roof and it needed to be replaced. I wanted a second opinion and called Wes from Firefighter Roofing. He came by and said there wasn't any hail damage and did not to replace my roof. He did a very thorough analysts with pictures followed by a detailed report. He is honest and detailed in his work. Our roof needed replacement and Firefighter Roofing offered their opinion. After talking to the salesman, I agreed to contact our insurance and was told by Bryan that I would need to sign his papers so he could talk to our insurance and show them the damage. This was, in fact, a contract with their company, and that was not disclosed. He also told two other potential customers the same thing in order to get their signatures. I felt this set the precedence for distrust. In fact, while I felt the crew was great and did a good job, it felt like a constant battle to get the salesman to be transparent. It was not clear whether we were getting a comparable shingle as the one that we were replacing. We also asked for our old gutters to be saved, and not only did this not happen, but the salesman also made no attempt to make this right. We even offered the suggestion of taking gutters that were going to be trashed from other jobs and have not heard back from them for months. The roofing company went back to our insurance for ADDITIONAL funds for thousands of dollars, and we were bypassed on this negotiation. I would not use this company unless you have the time to stay on top of every aspect of the job. read more

I needed help because a piece of siding came loose on my chimney and was laying on the roof. They responded to my call immediately on a Friday, were willing to make room in their schedule right away because it looked like rain... but ended up coming the following week to accommodate me. Bryan inspected the entire chimney, reinforced and sealed several areas, and the cost was less than most would have charged for inspection and trip alone. It's the first time in a long time I didn't spend at least $500 and wonder if I was really going to get what I purchased. Like many, our home was damaged during a Texas hail storm, shortly thereafter, the roof vultures swarmed our neighborhood and every roofing company from California to New York was ringing our doorbell. When the time came to actually replace the roof the on-site team was clean, ensuring our property was well protected from falling roofing debris. Upon completion they ensured the property was clean and free from as many nails as possible using magnets. They made sure all roof vents were in place and functioning and that we were 100% satisfied.
