My mother-in-law heard about Victoria's Garden from a friend, and since she was paying for the flowers, I was happy to go wherever she wanted. I am so thankful to the person that recommended Victoria's Garden to us. I had no idea what I wanted for flowers, I told Ellie my wedding colors (green and white) and her creativity immediately went to work. We gave her a price range and she made it her mission to stay well under that. I had mentioned a few types of flowers I liked, she told me that they weren't in season and would be more expensive. Instead of just going with those types and charging us more, Ellie found flowers that were in season that were similar to the ones I liked. Everything was perfect on my wedding day. Ellie and her crew showed up before the wedding and put everything together just like we had talked about. None of us even saw them working, it was like we showed up and everything was magically put together. Please go to Victoria's Garden if you're planning a wedding. Ellie listened to everything they wanted and really understood their vision. She understood their budget and helped them make decisions to fit within their price range. She even picked flowers from her own garden so their bouquets fit that budget. She needed no instruction on their wedding day. She did everything exactly how they asked (or better) and knew when to use her own judgment to make everything beautiful and perfect. Quality was amazing - many of the flowers were still spectacular 2-3 weeks (including the wedding bouquet which spent some time in our refrigerator while they were on their honeymoon) after the wedding date. Since almost all these words are theirs and not mine, I want to add that, the results were spectacular and personal at the same time. Autumn was a challenge given the types of flowers they most wanted but Ellie made it happen!

We had small talk and then I opened the card in front of him. Turned out the flowers were from my granddaughter asking me to officiate her wedding. Of course I started crying, and Alex (the delivery guy) gave me a big hug, congratulated me, and said what an honor it is for me to be chosen to do that for my granddaughter. He shared how he spoke at one of his family members wedding and how important it was to him. I wish I would have taken my picture with him to add to their memories. There was an option for delivery for the actual day of Mother's Day (May 10) but the flowers were not delivered. When I called the next day to see what happened, I received a half-hearted apology. They offered to do a refund which I accepted. However, they did not initially refund the $18 delivery fee, so I had to call yet again to get the delivery fee refunded as well. There really was no explanation why the flowers were not delivered. I realize mistakes occur, but what especially was unacceptable was that during the phone calls, the man I spoke to sounded very annoyed as if this whole thing was my fault somehow. I try to support local businesses but will be reticent to do business with Surroundings in the future.

She was the coordinator for my oldest daughter's wedding day and was wonderful...but then couldn't help for my next wedding AFTER I already hired her. She sent someone in her place that I "assumed" would be comparable. The person she sent disappeared for a large part of the evening, for 8 hours I hired her and received next to nothing in return. Very nice lady.... But sat in the front lobby on her phone for hours, during dinner, and had to be messaged when needed. I did share this information with Amber who did apologize, but that was all I got...an apology and then zero response from my follow-up email. I paid $800 for desserts to be put out. for the ceremony, my daughter had to walk outside from one building to another...walking down a set of stairs to another set of stairs going up to the chapel... as she was going up the stairs with no help from the coordinator, her lace train began to tear. Not only did her dress tear, but she missed her entry into the chapel when her song began. Watching the bride, my daughter cry as she entered the chapel was very hard. I would expect some service recovery for the lack of service, but only got an apology.
