I have two quibbles that keep me from adding the fifth star - the Tortilla Espanola (closer to an egg and potato frittata than a Mexican tortilla) is served with a drizzle of red and a white sauces. A well made Tortilla (and this one is very nicely done) doesn't really need any embellishment. I'll try to remember to ask for the sauce on the side next time. The second issue I have is that the servers didn't appear to have received enough training to do justice to the things on the menu. Bar Vivant has a lot of wonderful offerings, enough of them that they really deserve better descriptions and recommendations. Garrett was super helpful and we talked a bit about what I was thinking, and found three options within my budget. We settled on a fun but not too crazy wine from the Canary Islands. He held the wine for me at the front and I was able to just grab and go later in the afternoon. The price was also just right, as it was listed for $18 more on the vino app. Came back in a week later for drinks and prices were also great with a 3 drink flight for $19 all with good pours. Had a chenin blanc, a chardonnay, and a Malbec. All were phenomenal and bar staff were friendly. This is definitely earned a spot in the rotation. Love it.
