They pray you don't know the value of weed so they can rip you off. You know this is the first place my boyfriend took me to as soon as I landed in L.A. He knows I am very fond of flowers and plants. He thought I would appreciate visiting my first dispensary since the legalization of recreational herb in CA. What a cool spot it is, but just a little hidden... There's a small parking lot adjacent to the building across the street and parking is FREE. Depending on when you go, there's also street parking available and security right outside of the door during business hours. When you enter, you need to show the guy at the counter your photo ID or driver's license and then wait until he clears you to go into the back area; otherwise, have a seat and wait...it usually goes fast. Cash only. Overall, it was an easy and smooth transaction. Customer service was really great with knowledgeable and patient employees. You can pick up a single joint for as low as $11 with a reusable container to transport any unsmoked herb and save for later without stinking up your purse or car. The joint packs are a better value, but if you're only in L.A. for a limited time and know that you won't be able to smoke all of that - singles are the way to go. Otherwise, you may want to purchase the edibles which is a totally different buzz all together. The edibles start at $40 for a sealed package of treats. You would have to call for flavors, but I would have loved to try the edibles if I had more time. They package your goods in a discreet plastic bag which I was too dense to figure out how to open it. I ended up using some scissors. FYI: Parking can really suck depending on when you go so it may behoove you to bring a friend as your driver to circle around the block a few times. Coming from a state where medical marijuana is just getting legalized, some of the locals should be a little more grateful for Firehaus. read more

This is the first dispensary and the first place I have ever visited in California. Very friendly staff and they are useful too. There's a security guy at the front door. I thought he may be a bouncer but he just gets paid to stay outside and monitor the place. They just wanted to see our ID and make sure we we're of age and that's about it. Nothing special, Prices are very accommodating. They have a menu too (no,it's not a dine in place) that displays the prices. They also sell accessories. Only thing that they don't sell is rolling paper which was explained to me by the staff why they don't sell it. My friends spent hundreds here and I was happy and interested to come visit this place. Highly recommend. Please when you go in, don't take photographs. It's like walking into a strip club. No pictures of the merchandise. read more

I've been here a few times and love it! Ive gotten delivery, ordered for pick up and dropped into the store. When I ordered delivery, it came in under an hour/before the ETA - which if you've ever ordered delivery on a service like Eaze, you know how hard it is to come by a timely delivery. When I ordered pick up, I was in the store for less than 5 minutes. They didn't have the exact product I ordered online but were very knowledgeable in recommending a replacement. It's very easy to social distance, masks are required and the shop is very clean! They are cash only for all of their services (including delivery!) but have an ATM in store. Tonight, I dropped in and again, was in and out of the store in under 5 minutes. I was helped by Steve, who was so friendly and personable! He gave me a run down of all my options and different price points for what I was shopping for (pre-rolls). Steve even gave me a little discount! Just a quick "Do you have XYZ?" "Yeah, here's our options." Then I get what I need and leave. Some people talk about having issues with the prices, but it's never been an issue when I've gone. In my experience, it's similar to other dispensaries, and definitely cheaper than the overly fancy ones in the area. And, I'm willing to pay a premium to not get aggressively upsold on THC bath soaps or whatever nonsense they're shilling at the cheaper places. FireHaus is my neighborhood spot, and if you live nearby I think it's a good option for you too. read more

This place is frustrating. Rarely do they have anything in stock. Then, when you ask when they will be back in stock, there's always an excuse. Every single time. To make matters worse, they have things on display that aren't in stock. So when you say "alright, all good I'll just take three of X"......you get "oh we don't have that, that's for display only" I can emphasize this enough, why the hell would you have things on display that aren't in stock? You're setting your customer up for disappointment. If it's not in stock, stop displaying it! If that's a contractual obligation with the brand itself, that's just a bad contract and why would you sign that? Now I'm questioning not only your business operations, but also your ability to use common sense to run one. read more

She was being very flirtatious to my husband and gave no attention to me even if we were there together. I didn't quite understand why she had the audacity to be THAT flirtatious when I was right next to my husband. She didn't get the memo when he was serious and gave no attention to her back.
