First, let me start off by saying that I don't own a Ferrari or some sort of nice car that I want to keep pristine to make up for my mid-life crisis so I'm not looking for something spectacular out of my car wash place. I own cars that were manufactured when The Blackeyed Peas were a popular group and I live in the mountains so my cars get roughed up anyway by the terrain and so are never exactly clean. As a result, I just need a car wash that can periodically do the job and that's why Firehouse is sufficient. You can pay for very elaborate car washes if you want but the basic will cost you $6 or the Lieutenant will cost you $10. I usually get the Lieutenant and it does the job given all I really want is a wash for my cars that are old enough to legally join the military now. I go to types of places like Firehouse as well for the free vacuum. From road trips to being in the mountains where stones, gravel, grass, and a bunch of other random stuff can get into your car, the free vacuum really helps in cleaning that all up without me having to toss tons of quarters into a machine at a different type of car wash/gas station. So, if you're in the type of situation I'm in, and you just need to do occasional car washes for your crap cars that you are riding out until they die, slide down the pole at Firehouse Xpress Car Wash! Despite their weird fire symbolism for a car wash, I've been happy going there. Though, would be better if they had an on-site dalmatian to pet! read more

Wasn't going to use after change of ownership (see previous review), but I received a gift subscription from someone else and never used it. Consumer friendly? Nope. You Have to cancel 7 days before your next billing date or you are charged again, not before the actual expiration date. Who does this? On a gift subscription that was never used, this language never came through on their texts. My gifter got charged again. I will never visit them again, gift or not. read more

Scratched my car spoke to the manager this morning named Kyle. Showed us one frame that yes I agree scratch was already there but didn't show us the rest of the video then send the screenshots of my hood that he scratched and my car was clearly clean I can show you that morning how dirty my car was. He refused to give us his insurance policy number for the business which would actually just fix things up or refuse to give us the owners number so therefore I am writing reviews and I am now having to get an attorney involved and the dealership because I just bought this car less than a month ago and this is a new 4 runner. The other customer reviews of them destroying other peoples cars is outrageous I got no apology or even a refund offer. read more

Unfortunately, this business appears to have changed ownership. According the the pay kiosks, it is now Cobblestone Car Wash. There was no signage prior to the kiosk to indicate the change or the fact that they've significantly increased their prices. The cost of a basic wash went up 50% from $6 to $9. With all of the cars behind me in line, I had to choice to go forward. It feels like they must have also changed the washing system. When my car came out there was noticeably more soap and water on the vehicle than on prior visits. At least the vacuums were still free. Management should get the new prices posted prominently. Given my experience, I'll be looking for other options here in Fort Collins. read more

Too bad zero isn't an option. I've been in this carwash a handful of times. About a week ago, there was A 4 car pileup within the equipment! I was in the middle, hit in front and back due to the equipment forcing vehicles forward. Owners are not taking responsibility for the damage, calling it a motor vehicle accident on private property!!! If you dare to use this carwash, do NOT enter the tunnel before it is completely empty ahead of you, or you may as well drive down the highway on ice at 60 miles an hour! Bad news place. read more

Beyond frustrated and annoyed at this point. Understandably hours have been adjusted because of COVID, but I pay for a car wash subscription I can't use! Attempted to go thru on 3 separate occasions (all different times of the day) this week and it's always closed. Site says open til 7, but at 10 past 6 on a Saturday, comes are out and the place is a ghost town. Not to mention the last time o did successfully get a wash, the mismanagement of traffic flow led to a pile up of cars all stuck at the exit almost causing an accident. Best car wash in town. We live right next to one in southwest Fort Collins, and we drive past it and several others, to Firehouse. Our cars just look their best any time we go there! I wash them a couple times per year with the top-notch wash. One thing I really notice with Firehouse is the wheels look GREAT after a visit, which is pretty unusual. My car was super clean on the outside. I did have some water that wasn't fully blown off but that's nothing new with these style car washes. Their vacuum's were fantastic and got everything cleaned. they didn't have anything to clean my weathertec mats. I cleaned my own windows and seats with my own glass cleaner spray cleaner and rags from home. Well priced and well equipped I'd return here again to wash my car. read more

I purchased a car wash membership for my daughter on June 3rd. She just went for her first car wash yesterday and they told her the business had been sold and they weren't honoring memberships from the previous owner. Seriously?? They didn't know a few days ago that they were selling the business and taking my money for something they had no intention of delivering? What a disgrace. I enjoy getting my car washed here! It's quick and easy and I can get my car vacuumed right after the wash. One of my cars has the option of the scanner that allows me to get through the payment cycle quickly. That is a really nice feature! The car wash is not perfect. I often have spots remaining after the wash is complete, but it's better than any other drive-through car wash that I use in town. The facility and amenities are maintained well. This is a great option if you need a quick, cheap exterior wash. There are 14 options to choose from as to the level of clean you want in your quick wash and all are a great deal. They also have lots of free vacuums so you can get the inside of your car cleaned yourself. However, if you are looking to get your interior dusted, inside of your windows washed and your car properly dried, this is not the car wash for you. Don't get me wrong, I like this car wash for what it is and I plan to use it often since I commute to work and kill plenty of bugs along the way. By FAR the best car wash around! I will never go to any other car washes in this area! 1) On my first visit I was looking at my car afterwards checking to see how clean it had gotten (as I have gone to several others and noticed they did not get the film of dirt off the sides)..right then an employee came by and asked me if everything was okay, and it WAS, my car was in fact the cleanest it had gotten from any car wash I had ever been to! 2) Then I was using their FREE VACUUMS, and had removed all of my floor mats to give them a thorough vacuum..but then another employee came by and asked if he could pressure wash them for me! YES, he pressure washed my floor mats for free! -WOW, talk about AWESOME SERVICE! -My floor mats are now the cleanest they have been in like 7 years!! -I was so impressed I asked the guy for his name, THANK YOU Dustin!! 3) All of the employees are especially friendly and seem to genuinely care that you are satisfied. 4) Lastly, this is a very speedy wash..I have now been in over 10 times and never waited more than about 5 minutes max! First time using the place and malfuntion caused an accident when my car rear ended a truck in the automated wash (not sure if their equipment malfuntioned or driver mistake, it's unclear). No one on the staff had any clue it happened. Their staff was not paying attention. Had to wait 20 minutes to speak to a manager who turns out wasn't actually a manager, and was told they handle these cases by claiming no responsibility and now I have to involve the police to get the footage and drivers information. What's really sad is that they didn't even offer me a refund or anything at all other than resistence and impunity. What a terrible business. I'll never trust a drive thru car wash again. read more

Reason this car wash is worth five stars: 1) I go here about once a week, two sweet boys in tow. With two babies under 5 years old, I have to be quick! I've never been here longer than 20 minutes total. 2) Free vacuums. So... that's all that needs to be said about that. 3) Multiple car wash options; all great deals. 3b) My car is clean every time I leave. Funny how that works out, right? 4) It's so easy! I would never wash my car ever if I had to get out and do something. This makes me sound lazy, but I don't regret sharing that information with you because it's a great measurement of just how easy it is! 5) Awesome staff. I never would have come here had I not seen their deal on LivingSocial. They were offering their $12 carwash ("Chief") for $6 so I jumped on it because my car was covered in bug guts after a long drive to Kansas and back. I pulled up and circled the place because I wasn't sure where to go. The office is very small, but it's near the entrance to the drive-in car wash in case you need to know. After I tried fiddling with the screen where you order your wash a very helpful employee came out to give me a hand since I was clearly doing it wrong (it's not complicated, I was just having issues with the coupon). All was settled and I drove up to have my car wash. It went pretty quickly considering how many features the wash had, so I was worried they didn't do a good job. Boy was I wrong. My car is shimmering and sparkling now. This is by far the best hands-free carwash I've ever used. They had free vacuums outside as well. I definitely recommend you give this place a shot next time your car needs cleaning. read more

I went into this car wash on August 10th. Had a wonderful experience! I had an extremely dirty car and i was worried it may not come clean. I bought a $14 car wash, when i came out i still had some mud on my car. I spoke with two very lovely girls standing out front and they told me i could go through again not a problem. They both took extra time to make sure my car came out sparkling. Not only do i find it incredibly nice that they sent me through again but they also washed my floor mats for me. This is by far the best car wash on the east side of Fort Collins. John, the manager is great. He knows all of the packages and provided me with a package catered to my needs (long daily commute on I-25). The staff are extremely friendly and work hard to ensure each customer has a good experience. They wash your mats and bring them back to you promptly and very clean. They hang up the vacuum hoses if you forget. Lastly the place is clean and the technology is new and taken care of = great wash, definitely worth the price. This place will beat the hell out of your car. Although most car washes have signs stipulating they are not responsible for loose edging coming off vehicles, this place has a large sign indicating they are not responsible for any damage. This should be a major red flag. I'm not sure why their wash is so much more violent than others, but it will definitely beat around your car. After I finished my wash and was looking to make sure it hadn't damaged my car, I watched another patron try to fix their side mirror after the wash had bent it in a direction is wasn't supposed to move. One would think that such a brutal wash would at least get the vehicle clean. Unfortunately, not. There were still areas that were not clean but I was not about to risk damage by going through the wash again. They do offer free vacuums, which is a plus, but until they correct the underpinnings for why their machine offers such a rough wash, I would refrain from going here. read more

It was good enough to get the mud off, and I liked that it wasn't "touch-free" which never works well enough...the vacuums are free! CAUTION! I selected the $5 wash but my credit card showed an $8 charge! I did not get a receipt from the machine so I can't recoup the $3. They did a decent job of getting all the mountain mud off my 4Runner but it came out with the passenger mirror pushed towards the windshield and the driver mirror pushed towards the back. I will never go to this car wash again. I moved here recently and looked online for a car wash with great reviews because I did not want my new car to be damaged. I saw this place had great reviews so I went to get my car washed. I came out of the wash with scratches covering my poor new car. I was livid to say the least. Then I recently had a friend who just went through the car wash and her side mirror was broken off and then company refused to do anything about. They said because there was a scratch on the mirror prior to the incident that it wasn't their fault even though my friend and the employees sat down and watched the security tape of their wash knocking the side mirror off of the car. I usually wash my car by myself, however, I have recently heard about this "Firehouse Xpress Car Wash". I headed over there just to check things out. I was greeted by friendly staff that assisted me, and was guided into the colorful and fun car wash. At the end when I was funneled to the vacuum area, I got out and realized my car was spotless. The back didn't have any streams of dirt on it, and all of the bugs from the front were gone. I then enjoyed the free vacuum and detailed the inside. I consistently find my car does not get fully dry when I choose the dry option. I read a previous comment that it's not that bad but it is-way more so than other car washes. I had watermark spots all over my car by the time I got home. If you choose the dryer option, make sure to bring a towel and I would recommend pulling into one of the vacuum spots and dry the rest of your car off. The only reason I use this location is because I have a lower stanced car and my front lip doesn't scrape when I pull into the pulley mechanism. read more

The next thing I knew, a gentleman who works there came out from the office and offered to run the transaction for me so I didn't have to get out in the wind. This place was amazing when it opened and still stays busy all the time but the quality of the wash has diminished greatly over time. The owner has a gold mine but seems like he won't put any $ back into the place.
