I liked that he asked me what I needed, took a walk with me, and gave a pragmatic assessment. I literally had a ton of weight lifting equipment, two home offices, four bedrooms, shop equipment, two living rooms, sports equipment, and the usual accumulation of things families stuff into their homes after years of being in one place. Guess what. Brandon, Reece, Edwin and Chris accomplished this cumbersome move in the heat in less than 6 hours. Not a mark on the walls. Not a ding in box. Error free work knocked out with great attitudes and a great deal of sweat. These guys moved faster than UPS delivery during Christmas. We had a five hundred pound antique chopping block that Wifey wanted to move to a couple different places before she was content. They did it without delay. Just wonderful. John dropped in to confirm excellence and was not surprised to see that these four were way ahead of schedule. A fair price and money well spent for the peace of mind I sensed from the get go. I had to beg him to move a chair because he said "if it's not listed it's not going" after trying to just leave me with no move all together. The driver that picked it up was friendly and helpful. The trailer was had a lot of room (our house wasn't small) and we only paid for what we used. Everything was well secured and all of our items made it 2,000 miles away ontime and intact. Once we got to our location, U-Pack was pretty flexible when we could have the trailer delivered and we had more than enough time to unpack it. U-Pack was worth every penny!

Now the bad ,I used ABF UPACK twice to move across the country. On both moves the bulkheads in the trailers were damaged to the point that i could not install them by myself.On the first move the handle that locks the ratchet in place was broken.The driver and I had to forcefully hook the looking tabs into place and use plastic zip ties to hold the ratchet handle in the locking position. On the second move the bars on the bulkhead were bent so bad that the driver had to use a hammer to beat the locking tabs into place.Upon arrival the driver had to use a hammer to beat the locking tabs out of the slots they fit into.This review is in no way a bad reflection on the Drivers, without their help i would not have able to install the bulkheads. Both drivers told me they would report the problem to the people responsible for the equipment.

New Start responded quickly, as did many in the moving business. There was something about the young man who owns the company that intrigued me. He was quick with answers, personable, and thorough. There was never a lack of communication or overcommunication. Now, the good part today was more day; Michale showed up with Ben, his number 1 guy. Both were pleasant, professional and packed 40 feet of stuff in a 26' truck. No damage, no wasting time. Helpful, kind, young, and quick but never rushed. They were conscientious. Their price was fair, and they earned a little extra. They were competitive with other locals and way cheaper than the national players. I have moved maybe 10 times in my life with professionals, this was the best experience ever.

I hired this company to move from Clarksville to Nashville, and from the moment they arrived, it was clear they were unprepared and unprofessional. They showed up an hour late and didn't even have the proper tools needed to disassemble furniture, including beds. There were two movers--an older gentleman and a younger man. Unfortunately, the older mover appeared unable to perform much of the physical labor, leaving my friend and her uncle to help move heavy furniture and boxes themselves. A woman, who appeared to be the owner, sat in her car the majority of the time and did not assist. The situation became even more concerning when the movers left for nearly two hours in the middle of the job, stating they needed to handle a family matter. While they were gone, my friend, her family, and friends finished packing the remainder of the home. When the movers returned, the younger mover brought his wife and children with him, which felt highly unprofessional during a paid moving service. Once we arrived in Nashville, they unloaded everything into the living room without any organization and failed to reassemble any of the furniture they had taken apart. To make matters worse, while my friend was carrying boxes upstairs, the movers left without notifying anyone, without confirming the move was complete, and without ensuring the customer was satisfied. I made several attempts to contact the company afterward, but her calls went unanswered. Hiring movers is supposed to reduce stress, not create more of it. Unfortunately, this company failed to provide the professional service that was promised. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, dependable movers. The movers were professional, efficient, and extremely courteous. They arrived with the necessary equipment for the move out. When we ran into an unforeseen scheduling issue on our end, they quickly summoned a third person. My daughter was told not to worry, they would make sure the job was completed and the truck ready to go within the new time frame, and it was! When we arrived at our destination after a two day drive, nothing in the truck had shifted at all. It had been perfectly packed, and when unloaded everything was in perfect shape.
