Heather in the office is absolutely AMAZING! I had a smooth transaction. Called her, she found me a space , I paid over the phone, and was able to get in the same day! Easy to get into the spots. Plenty of room. I love my space! Heather will work with you, just tell her what you need and she is on it. They also have a propane refill station. You just drop it off with your name on it and pick it back up. The will invoice you. The maintenance man lives on site and helps everyone he can. You will not be disappointed. read more

Pros: -Year round availability -Right off I-69, 5 minutes to Auburn and 10-15 minutes to north Fort Wayne. We stayed here for a year because there were no other options. Unfortunately the reviews on Yelp from several years ago are still relevant and this park hasn't attempted to improve at all it seems. They have recently created several new sites, some that are 50amp, which is where we stayed, but there's several problems so I'll list: -The new 50amp sites we stayed in are angled at such an awkward angle it is difficult to back in the camper, especially if all the other sites are full. -The connection to dump your tanks at each site is raised, therefore making it very difficult for your tanks to be emptied. We even tried to build up our lines with boards, but having them flush with the ground like most campgrounds would've been nice. -The electricity seems to be an issue. We spoke with other long term campers who had problems with their campers "over heating" despite having surge protectors on. When we left, I noticed a burnt spot on our brand new power cord that we bought just before we arrived and we had a surge protector on the entire time. We also moved 3 times to different spots and it wasn't until the 3rd spot that our brand new hot water tank began to finally work (we kept thinking it was an issue with the tank, but could never figure out what was going on). After talking with people who moved into our previous spots and them having electricity issues, I assumed it's something not related to our camper. -The laundry room had a "sorry for the construction" note the entire time we were there, but nothing was ever done. It's by far the worst laundry facility I've seen, most of the washers & dryers are not working, there's holes in the ground covers by rugs (which I unknowingly stepped in and twisted my ankle!) and nothing seems to ever be clean or maintained. I recommend going to the laundry mat by Walmart in Auburn if you need to do laundry! -The showers are pathetic. As mentioned above, our hot water tank didn't work most of the time we were there, leaving us to have to take showers at the cabin. The weird thing is, you have to walk in and completely shut the door before the light turns on. Each shower room has 1990's wood peg shelves that your bags slip off and wind up on the disgusting floor. Every shower stall had a jacked up shower head. We had 2 stalls that we would only use because they seemed to be "the best" option. There was mold growing on the walls & ceilings. -The mail is left in the hallway for everyone and anyone to rummage through. We weren't comfortable with that and had our most of our mail sent to a family members house, but for some reason my employer sent me something during tax season that had a lot of personal information and when I found it in the pile of mail, it had been opened. A place we stayed before had mailboxes you could rent for $5 a month and I feel like that would be much safer!!!! Especially since the office is rarely open it seems. -The pool was never in service. -The sites are all gravel. -The grounds flood anytime it rains. -There's no real amenities that makes this place stand out. They raised the prices at the start of 2023 and have been adding new sites, but they need to do something to make this place more desirable to stay at if they want to have happier customers! read more

We actually left Indian Springs to come here. My husband is working in the area and we were paying out the butt at Indian Springs, plus that place is a dump. Honestly I wish we would've came here from the get go but we were hesitant because apparently it was rough before the new management came in. It is a quiet and nice park overall. Very reasonably priced, and nice sites. There is a playground, pavilion, walking trails, and a basketball court but other than that there isn't a whole lot to do. My kids are very content here though. If you are working in the area and need a place to stay long term or even just a night or two, I highly recommend. The only cons I have are they are hard to get ahold of. I called multiple times when I was trying to get us a reservation but the key is to call in the morning. He got us in that next weekend though so that was nice. This park has iron heavy well water so I recommend getting a portable water softener if you'll be staying awhile. Also, I wish the roads in the park were paved so the kids could ride their bikes. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet place to stay without all the bells and whistles then this is for you. We actually had several of my husband's coworkers leave Indian Springs to come here as well. I think we can all agree that this place is way better and way more affordable. read more

To say the least, I should have trusted the poor ratings from other Yelp reviews, But I thought "hey can it really be as bad as that"? Well trust me it is. Poor communication is the key negative take away in this whole experience. The office staff is rarely in the office and phone messages go un answered for 24-48 hours. When finally reaching staff I asked, did you get my voice mails and messages on your contact us page from the (unsecured no SSL website) and the answer was "well we have this automated phone message system that is supposed to send us notifications of messages. So either it is broken, or was ignored. Results are the same as it took four days to make reservation. Below is my response I sent to the email request asking me to leave a review for the park ownership. When we inquired about staying, I was informed that a new area had been opened and currently being seeded. We did not expect that this would hamper the complete experience with having no additional space around our class A to even walk the edges. With the constant watering it was a complete mud pit. We were also informed about the fee of $200 to break the lease. My issue is that the site should not have been opened if thy weren't at least useable and when I inquired about the $200 fee being waived as we only stayed 9 nights on a six month lease, I should never have been scolded like a child! I never got the chance to explain the issues/concerns with what the problem was with the campground. Tiffany is the absolute rudest employee I have encountered in our last 12 months living full time in our RV. So congratulations on being number 1! To put the icing on the cake as it were, I told Tiffany that I would share my experience with others....she immediately said "don't threaten me" then continued to non-stop over talk everything I was attempting to share and then said "just keep talking and I won't prorate your fee and you will loose it all". How professional is that? So when you ask what you can do differently: 1) Fire Tiffany, 2) Add more rock to widen the spaces such that consumers can use the new areas and stay off the newly planted grass. 3) Make an attempt to at least show that works is being done on the pool. I asked another long term camper and they told me the pool has been under renovation for months. 4) Clean up the park in general as it looks like a run down mess. 5) Redesign the garbage dump area as it cannot be accessed when it rains, consider paving the complete approach so the water runs off and doesn't pool. 6) Have consistent office hours where customers can actually reach staff and at a minimum return messages and messages in a timely manner. 7) If your going to allow package deliver, find a method to make it safe such that packages are not left unattended in the hallway. 8) Find a way to train staff in a manner that makes customers feel welcomed. Most importantly run this like a business and not an absentee afterthought. Compared to Camp Timberlake in Huntington IN, which has the same owners and is amazingwhere we have stayed many months in the last 3 years, this experience was a complete disgrace to your family's name. read more

All I can say is WOW. Been calling all day to check availability for my parents who are due to arrive tomorrow. No answer and the mailbox is full so we can't leave a message. So I drive over and the office is empty, peoples mail, bills, medical statements are just laying in a pile on the floor. I'm pretty sure that's illegal. Now I can't find a single person that works there but, there are signs posted all over that if you need assistance to call ***_***_**** number. That number is for an entirely different campground and those people can't access availability nor take reservations. Going to have my parents take their business elsewhere. A further drive would be worth it compared to this run down, dilapidated S**T hole that has no regard for people's private and sensitive information. read more

I usually will not give a negative review but this time I will. If I could leave a negative number i would. We have used campground at least twice a year for several years but this time WILL BE THE LAST. It is rundown, dirty and not a friendly place. The "office person" is rarely there and does not want to deal with people. This time he ran our debit card WITHOUT our approval causing an overdraft because he was not working on Sunday. This guy is a real piece of work. If possible stay at Bluffton KOA or Bixler Lake Campground in Kendavile. Also the dumping station is closed, it has been closed at least 2 years. read more

Stayed here to catch up with Dr's and families. We full time and it's close to both. Park needs attention, for the price you pay there are no extras. Playground area is not safe, pool is not in use the office is in dire need of a roof. Grass is let to grow on sights way to long. Only here for location. No one is ever in office. No wifi. read more
