5 stars. It's located near Grand Teton National Park. I booked during their slow season, so I found it affordable. I know prices go up during summer, which is normal for the area. You'll get your own private cabin equipped with a kitchenette that's fully stocked for cooking. It has it's own patio with picnic table and a grill. You also have your own fire pit and parking spot. Inside, it is charmingly decorated with rustic western décor. The bathroom is modern and the bedroom is cozy. I absolutely loved my stay here. Apparently, moose have been known to roam around the property, but I never saw but I am sure they are around during dawn/dusk. There is also a communal hot tub. I just love the privacy. We stayed here two days and I don't know why people would complain about this resort. It was definitely not our experience. The place was quiet, the office ladies very helpful and polite. We ended up with truck problems and had to bring our truck to the shop for repairs in Jackson. We let the ladies in the office know we were having problems and they were very helpful. The truck wouldn't be finished til late afternoon and Jamie told us we could stay along with our friends way past checkout time with no charge. So they gave us two sites on memorial day weekend with no extra charge. If we end up spending the night we will be paying for another night. But with the stress of everything else it was really nice to not have to worry about this too. We really appreciate Jamie Maline and all others who helped us. read more

Love this place! Have been coming for years and enjoy it immensely in their tiny homes! Would have given a 5 star but they are showing their wear and could use a refresher. The cleaning products used gave a huge pine scent and the floors were polished so they were a bit slippery. Otherwise, another great trip to the area. read more

Fireside is conveniently located in the middle of Teton Village and Town Square. I stayed in Cabin #9, which is one of the wedge cabins, perfect for a couple. It's one of the first cabins as you enter the resort so not only will you hear the cars whizzing by on Hwy 390, you'll also be able to welcome every vehicle entering the property. We enjoyed all of the amenities that came with our cabin - private deck, fireplace, kitchenette, goose down pillows, etc. It was freakishly windy during our stay so we didn't take advantage of the outdoor fire pit but each cabin comes with a complimentary bundle of firewood; ideal for stargazing nights! The big plus about Fireside is they're dog-friendly. Lots of puppy sightings during my stay. Will definitely bring mine the next time I visit Jackson Hole! read more

Fireside is a cozy and remote tiny home resort located about 17 miles (30 mins) away from the airport and about 15 mins from Town square (7 miles). We stayed in wedge cabin #5 for 3 nights. Positives: - Remote enough away from town square so you are in the quiet wilderness. - Tiny home feels like your own home with amenities like kitchenware, utensils, coffee maker, kettle, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, body wash, extra pillows and blankets. - Free batch of firewood for you to use. Any extra is $8/batch at the store. - Friendly service at the checkin office/store. You can purchase snacks, drinks and s'mores items there. - Check out was easy. Leave the keys in the cabin and go. Negatives: - Food options are limited on Ubereats. A lot of the restaurants in town square don't deliver out there. There is Calico restaurant about 2 blocks down which is walkable and quite good! - Due to Covid, no housekeeping unless you request it for $35/day. - You take out your own trash since there's no housekeeping. - No desk inside the cabin for writing/eating. Everything is done at the living room coffee table. - You get 15 mins of HOT water shower. The next person after you can get 5-10 mins and then it's cold. Or the next person will get cold water. We really enjoyed our stay here! The cabins are very nice , clean and in a great location. It was nice being close to Teton National Park and not too far from town. We felt like we were staying in a secluded cabin in the woods while being located within walking distance to restaurants. Fireside Resort is in an excellent location to check out all this area has to offer. It's truly an amazing place to be, with the grandeur of the Tetons and the picturesque valley landscape. Check out Bar-T 5 covered wagon train dinner and show while you're in town. They put on a great show and the food is REALLY good. Lot's of history with this outfit as they have been running for over 45 years. Lake Jenny is absolutely incredible and Rendezvous Park (2 minutes from Fireside resort) is worth taking a day to float or paddle board if you have they time. The town of Jackson, WY is a great place to check out too. It's got newer shopping with the old town charm with a western feel. The bike riding in this area is epic as well. So many paved bike trails all along the valley floor. If you have an electric bike, there's no better place to cruise along taking in the sites. Fireside Resort is not luxury RV'ing, but the location, nice staff, and solidly run facilities makes it worth the stay. I'd recommend this campground to anyone looking to explore this incredible part of our country. read more

I'm somewhat confused by some of the reviews I've read about this property. I'll begin with the staff. Each and every staff person we dealt with was polite and very accommodating. We were always greeted with a smile and a hello. Staff was equally polite on our two telephone interactions. We stayed during bad weather, and yes, our site did get muddy....simple solution...wipe your feet before you enter your coach! We didn't stay in the cabins, but they were adorable and looked well maintained. I agree that "resort" is a stretch in describing this property, the RV park is a bit rustic. We were in one of the rear spaces and enjoyed being in the trees, and the space was fairly large and the driveway was long. I agree that adding some additional gravel to the sites would be beneficial, particularly in the wet weather, but it would not have been a deal breaker for us. The sites for larger coaches were a bit close, but I would say no worse than most KOA parks. The site was expensive, but I believe in line with the going rate in the area. Being in proximity to Jackson Hole results in tourist prices on everything. The $4.00 wash and $4.00 dry about bowled me over, but the washers and dryers accommodated fairly large loads and were clean and efficient. The front of this RV park is a tiny house resort. The tiny houses look super fancy and nice. They look like a great place to stay. The RV park behind it isn't nearly as nice. It's very crowded. The spots are hard to get into. The reason I'm being really hard on it is that it's outrageously expensive (more than $100 per night not during peak season). I would expect a really fancy RV park for that price. What do you get here? WiFi that doesn't even function. If I have to pay that much, I would expect the WiFi to actually work. Save yourself the money and find some free land to stay on instead. read more

This place should truly be rated a zero due to their false advertising. This site is catering to the tiny house movement while leaving their RV section lacking. When you arrive you are greeted by amazing tiny homes and then the wheels fall off the bus as soon as you leave the tiny home area. All sites are advertised as having full hookups when in reality only about 9 sites have full hookups. We tried multiple times to contact the site to confirm and also let them know we would be arriving at 7pm. No one answers the phone though. We also tried multiple time to contact the mgmt. once we arrived but no one answers after hours either. The on site maintenance man tried to save the day but after a full day of travel there was nothing he could say to fix what we rolled into. The grass was dead, no water, no dump, and only a power pedestal at our site. The site across from ours had water but stated that it wasn't working so they had to go to a community riser. Read the online advertisement attached. They state one thing and give a totally different experience. I highly suggest that you do not waste your time staying here. If you don't contact the site and strictly book online you will be sold a bill of goods the site cannot deliver. read more

I stayed two nights at the Fireside Resort in Wilson, Wyoming on my Spring Break at the end of March! It snowed every day but my cabin was warm, cozy and quiet! I have been wanting to see the Grand Tetons and check out The Wedge Cabin (made by wheelhaus) for quite some time. I made my reservation through AirB&B and was contacted by the staff about checking in and provided with helpful info about traveling through the pass! I arrived just before the office closed. Matt was efficient in checking me in, providing info about local places to eat, and very helpful the following day when he went out of his way to find a hoodie in the right size for me. The cabin was spotless and included a page of instructions on how to operate the luxurious shower! The bed was comfortable with plenty of extra linens, blankets and pillows provided. Wood was even provided for the fire pit area! The driveway was a bit rough with the ice and snow, but navigable. Thank you Fireside staff for an amazing stay! When you look at the pictures on the website and you drive into the grounds, your first thought is WOW! this will be great You will be wrong. Once you get to the RV area it will be obvious that this is NOT a resort at all. Crowded, bad roads, terrible sites that are too close. If the prices were on the normal side you would be disappointed but not feel ripped off. At their prices that's exactly how you will feel. You can do better in Jackson for a more reasonable price. The Fireside "Resort" RV Campground. That single wide entrance is also your exit. Pray you don't meet any incoming! The rental units are delightful looking. But if you venture into the campground you'll start to wonder about the "Resort" status. The roads are horrendous, unless of course you like big holes. A bit of gravel would go a long way. The topper is the Resort Pricing! Yes, $165 a night!! You can find much better! The sites are nice, giving plenty of room and room to maneuver your rig! Of course "your mileage may vary". read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! **UPDATE** Finally received a call back from the office after multiple attempts and messages left to reach them over the last couple days. Unlike other reviews stating the office staff was rude, the person who called was very nice and apologetic. I saw this Tiny House featured on HGTV and my husband came across it when looking for lodging for our anniversary in Jackson. We stayed in the Tiny House for 3 nights. The actual little cabin was awesome - modern, clean, well-decorated (and you can buy it for $91k...closer to $400k if you want land included).... so although I'd give the cabin 5 stars, there are some negatives about Fireside Resort that I need to warn others about and are the reason why I am only giving 4 stars (which is super generous because with another place I'd give this experience 2 stars but I'm still giving 4 stars because I love the actual house so much!). Upon check-in, they tried charging us $75 for our very small 10-pound dog who is totally house trained and does not shed. This fee was not disclosed at the time of booking so we argued it. Furthermore, he is a service dog so by showing our papers we were able to avoid the fee. But if you are traveling with your pet, beware of this. They are very sneaky and I don't like how they aren't transparent about this. Another turn off was the fact that there is no maid service unless you request it - which is FINE, but they charge you $35 a day!!! That's INSANE. We paid over $1,000 for our weekend here and for that price, maid service should absolutely be included if requested. Because it was our anniversary, my husband had placed some sort of special request (I'm not exactly sure what it was) but he noted upon walking into the bedroom of our unit that the request was not honored, and he was disappointed by this. Another disappointment was the fact that there was a fire ban while we were there. I understand you can't control mother nature and fire bans are necessary at times, and I can understand why there would be a ban for the RV section of the "resort" (there is an RV section further down, after you drive through the tiny cabins, which is super overpriced...we saw a sign for $93 for ONE night for a BASIC RV spot...rip off). However for the cabins, each one has a fire pit area in the yard outside and these are large metal containers for the fires. It's not like it's a fire pit in the ground or on stone or anything. So be warned that you may not be able to sit outside and have a fire at Fireside... Lastly, our hot water heater was old or just not up to par....water only remained hot for 10-15 minutes before turning ice cold. For a single person this should probably be adequate, but for a couple, you're going to need more than just 15 minutes of hot water. Our unit did have a pullout couch bed and was said to be for up to 4 people, so you REALLY need more than 15 minutes of hot water if that were to be the case. Especially if your customers are paying $1,000 to stay there. As far as the location, it's about 20 minutes to downtown Jackson. It's easy enough to go into town, but it's definitely outside of it. You have to cross the river to get there. It's very close to Grand Teton National Park and Teton Village, so that's a plus. Overall, the Tiny House is great. The business practices and amenities are not so great. So....cute tiny house, but definitely beware of the major issues noted above. read more

We booked this to stay while in town to run the Jackson Hole Marathon (also recommend!) and we loved it! Easy drive to Teton Village or Jackson Square; absolutely lovely sites. Ours was towards the back where horses grazed and elk roamed. The staff was AMAZING. We didn't use the cabins but saw cleaning constantly. In the office, they were very friendly and nice, making great recommendations. When asked for a route to our next stop, the camp host gave a better recommendation than GPS and even pointed out an RV-friendly gas station with propane. Overall great experience. read more

We absolutely loved Fireside! It's just outside of Jackson but a quick drive to the main Jackson Square. We stayed in the Wedge cabin which was perfect for 2. We loved the feature of having a mini kitchen (mini fridge, 2 burners, coffee maker, toaster, dish washer), having our own personal fire pit outside our cabin, and the electric indoor fireplace! The cabin comes with one bundle of logs complimentary and you can always get more from the office for $8 or get more at Albertsons just up the road! Just FYI there was not a washer/dryer or an oven inside the cabins and the hot tub was closed due to COVID however I believe there is on site washer/dryer you can pay for. Contactless check in and check out was wonderful and with a quick call to the office we were able to get more linens/things we needed. Perfect week! read more

The Good: :: local business! :: very charming place to stay that is modern yet cozy :: great kitchen amenities like basic pots/pans, plates, cups, utensils, microwave, kitchenette with 2 stove ranges, refrigerator (pretty decent size for a small unit), dishwasher (yes!), wine opener, wine glasses :: they provide trash bags, dishwashing tablets, dishwashing soap, sponge :: service is very friendly and helpful :: outdoor firepit for use! unfortunately there was a burn ban that we missed the memo on since we checked in after they closed the office, and we enjoyed the firepit for about 15 minutes before the security folks driving around made us shut it down/put it out. however when there is NOT a burn ban, it's a great setup--large firepit, they give you a free bundle of wood, and some seating is available around the firepit :: very cozy pullout sofa bed. it's memory foam, not a disgusting horrible spring-based mattress that makes your back feel like you'll wake up with scoliosis. it was super cozy to pull out the mattress and put some sheets down to stretch out and watch tv :: awesome cozy front porch area with dining table picnic table-style :: cute flowers hanging outside to brighten up the porch :: lots of lighting inside :: fake fireplace that lets out heat and also changes colors! you can adjust the temperature as well as the colors :: bathroom has a window, which is great to keep the room less stuffy especially after a hot shower :: cozy bath towels :: screen door to let in fresh air and keep the bugs out :: beds are comfortable The Bad: :: only 1 parking spot per unit. there is some overflow parking a little bit of a walk away, nearby the RV spots :: no indoor dining table/chairs...so not sure what you will do for dining table/chairs if you stay here during the colder months. the only dining table/chairs is the picnic table/bench outside. however if it's 5 degrees out, you probably don't want to be eating anything outside. :D :: loft sleeping area is hard for tall adults like myself--you can't fully stand up and are in constant crouch mode walking around the space upstairs. additionally, there's no bedside lamp for use upstairs--i hope they address that by putting one up there. otherwise you have no light to read with except the bright overhead light :: lighting control is a bit odd for the loft. if you turn the light on/off from downstairs, you no longer have control upstairs. you have to turn the light on/off only from the upstairs control. a bit annoying when you have to climb up the ladder to the loft with your phone flashlight to then engage with the switch :: can be challenging to bring heavy suitcases/bags upstairs to the loft area. i had to leave my large suitcase downstairs because taking it up the ladder was not an option. :) The Ugly: :: none Would I go back? Most likely yes! Next time I need a place to stay in Jackson Hole, I'll be looking this place up as an option. This place is IN. read more

The "Resort" part of the name should be removed for the campers. Perhaps the little houses you drive past when entering the property are nice but the campground leaves a lot to be desired!!! It's a back acre or so behind the property that serves as a parking lot for campers who pay quite a premium for a cramped site ($88.50 for only electric, which included a $5.25 resort fee.) Whoever designed their website deserves an award. We have travelled across the country multiple times and this was one of the worst. Please look elsewhere, including the Wal-mart parking lot!! read more

This review is about the RV park. Website is amazing and they really sell you on how beautiful their cabins and site is. Which is true. But then you drive in the back for the RV park and it's like where they put all the trailer trash. The difference between their cabins and rv park is night and day - almost comical. The RV spots are SO close together with almost zero area to sit and enjoy actual camping. They have a few "premier" sites in the back if you are lucky to get those. Their grass is dying and muddy, no fire pits, gravel road, your view is of the neighbor RV. We didn't even get two sites next to one another, despite reserving them together. They called us a few days before arrival saying their water was down and we would get refunded your reflect - but after reading these reviews that doesn't seem to be abnormal for them. The high cost is not worth the space! The cabins had fire pits, beautiful lined trees, a creek that ran through, even the spa is over there. RV park had none of that - not even the trees. By night two you had to just laugh at the difference. I'm giving two stars because of location. read more

A street of tiny homes on each side leading to a rather minimal RV park. We stayed three nights in one of the tiny homes. There was a bedroom with a king, a nice bath with a ridiculously complicated shower setup that most anyone would need instructions to use, no bath, a little kitchen that was reasonably equipped, a firepit outdoors. The one central road is the entrance/exit for all the trailers and motorhomes and so it is fairly busy and noisy if you are staying in one of the tiny homes. There's a little deck in front with a barbeque that we did not try. Our three day stay came to $1931 or $644/day. They are pet freindly ($75). Fireside added a $36.27/day "resort fee" that had not been previously disclosed, but there are no amenities that one would associate with a "resort"; no restaurant, bar, pool, horses, none of that stuff. An OK place to stay, but really not worth the money in our opinion. read more

We made reservations months ago for 3 spots together at the 2780 Moose Wilson Rd Fireside Resort location. They called and told us due to construction they would have to move us to their other site in Moran. Fine. So we drive an hour out of way to show up at the other site and they don't show any reservations for us. Apparently, Fireside moved us back to original camp spot but didn't inform us. We drive another hour and arrive at original camp spot and our party is spaced out all over the place and the weekend manager says there's nothing she can do to help us. She doesn't even open up her computer to look. I eventually ask her to please look up sites and we get moved into an "emergency" site closer to our group. Sites are super narrow and front office staff is rude. I sent my kids in to get a bag of ice. My kids had the audacity to giggle in the store and the same weekend manager was rude to them and told them "stop - it's not playtime" seriously, lady? When I went into the store to ask them to be nice to my kids, they told me that nice goes both ways. For $125/night, I expect at least some level of front desk courtesy. The location is nice, within close drive to Jackson and Grand Tetons. But honestly, stay somewhere else if you can. read more

However, here's why it's two stars: it's overpriced and they nickel and dime you. Example: They want $250-350/night but charge you a $1 for coffee in the lobby. Ummmmm cheap ass Marriotts offer you free coffee. They don't have real cream in the rooms. Powder. Clearly I have a coffee issue. No, but it's the little things. Don't charge me $300/night and give me powder creamer. Also you have to take your own trash down. Uh. Okay but also, no. Also, the hot tub closes at 9pm. What? Are we seven? Who goes to bed at 9? Have you heard of Glamping? I've never heard of that term until we experienced glamour camping at the Fireside Resort in Wyoming. The cabin we stayed in was clean, well organized, casual, and comfy. We utilized almost everything offered to us, like the kitchenette cooking our breakfast, using the foldout couch, the mini grill on the porch where we grilled our steaks and corn. Last but not least, there's a fire-pit for every cabin (firewood is provided) and we made s'more at night, that became the highlight of our stay. Outside amenities are: the steam pool, laundry room, inside the check-in lobby they sell impulse snacks and smore sticks. On the other side of the property there is space for RV's. The lady who checked us in was very friendly. She supplied us a map and gave us detailed information about routes to the Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. The cleaning staff there would greet and say "hi". The cabin grounds were sprinkled with autumn leaves but there is yard maintenance. I did see a review some where they were misled and that it wasn't an upscale stay. Keep in mind it's upscale camping, not an upscale ski resort. I highly recommend a stay here if you're planning to head to the National Parks up north. Fireside Resort made our frontier Wyoming experience a memorable one. read more

This was such a great getaway! Check in was easy, the units are perfect, and we didn't hear any neighbors! Complimentary firewood for each unit, plenty of towels, the bed was so comfortable and everything was clean. Well done. My only suggestion is an easier hot tub cover- my husband and I, working together, really struggled with it, it's in 4 pieces and they kept falling in! We made it, but could be easier or have it open and ready for guests. It's a very cute environment, well done. read more

Absolutely do not stay here. The rooms were overpriced and the hot water did not work for more than 10 min. The "rooms" felt extremely open as they were right next to each other and you had to close the curtains for privacy which made it feel even smaller. My biggest issue with this place was that they took my drivers license and credit card on file and charged me for another night almost a week later claiming it was an accident. I called and disputed the charges and it felt like my issue of being wrongly charged was being pushed to the back of their priority list. It took 5 phone calls and almost 6 days to get in touch with someone who could help me but still to no avail. I ended up having to dispute my charge through my credit card and cancelled my card. The manager made it seem as if I was at fault for "conning" her when their company is the one that charged me. Would not stay here again. Overpriced for what it is and you can find much better deals elsewhere. read more

Beautiful views of the Tetons, showers and bathrooms on site. They have adorable little cabins for rent but were sadly all booked out. Very central and affordable. So I have to tell you .... we had a water line to the toilet burst in the middle of the night !!! Flooded our motor home. We used every towel and blanket to try and soak it up. The next morning Dan was going to have to go into Ace Hardware to Buy us a shop vac!!! He stopped up to the main office to ask how to get there. They insisted we just use theirs!!! Then their maintenance man brought back a dehumidifier for us to set up while we were site seeing. I can not tell you how wonderful the staff ,owner and maintenance group are!!!! read more

Awesome accommodations for Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park! Located 15 min from Jackson Hole square. Scenic property with mountain views. Cabins are separated by individual firepits, have their own patios, and modern furnishings. There is a spa and gift/snack shop as well as wifi. The cabins are clean, firewood is provided, and there is parking for one car per cabin. The staff are great; very welcoming. The rate value is perfect, more offerings than usually provided by other three-star properties. The convenient location is on a main road, so the National Park tour companies pick you up at your cabin. I couldnt ask for more. Thank you very much for your hospitality! This was the perfect tiny home adventure for a family of 4 ... especially during these times of social distancing. We rented the largest home right next to the small pond. - this was our first time to Jackson, Wy :) please read all below for details! :) - photos from their website of the wedge cabin are accurate! - upon planning our trip, we looked for a place with a cabin-feel but the luxury of amenities beyond your typical campout :) - this was a perfect size for us, a young couple - the cabin had a small main room with a cute gas-fireplace and kitchenette; great bathroom; and one bedroom. - Kitchenette = sink, microwave, two range electric stove top, tea-kettle, coffee pot (only coffee was included in our room), small refrigerator, plates/bowls/glasses/mugs, utensils, salt/pepper, and dish soap. We loved the kitchenette! We enjoyed getting supplies from the local grocery and cook/prepare meals throughout our trip to save money. - great control of temperature in each room - fireplace for small main room and a thermostat in the bathroom and bedroom. - the shower was great! wonderful water pressure and great temperature control! also, included shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap (great as I forgot to pack any of those!). Hairdryer and lotion included as well. Plenty of towels and washcloths. - there is housekeeping available if you would like for $35/day; we did not participate in this but sounds great if need it! - great location! it was only about 20 minutes into town to Albertson's Grocery Store (where we got all of our grocery items, bear spray, sunscreen, etc.) and 10 minutes to the entry of the Grand Teton National Park. It is a longer drive to Yellowstone but we loved going through Grand Teton to get to Yellowstone. (**We recommend purchase the entry for both parks on your first day, for us it was $50 and good for 7 days, keep the receipt** as you use that to enter either national park) - there is a t.v. in the small main room and bedroom. - the cabins are right next to each other but once inside you feel like you isolated. There is a small area to make a bonfire -- and your first set of wood/starter free! - we did not explore the RV area so we cannot comment if this would really be a place if you plan to try and stay at the site for most of the day --- our days often included waking up early, meal prep sandwiches for lunch, grabbing protein/granola bar, out all day hiking/driving, and return home in late evening to eat/shower/relax/sleep. - Matt was really great! He called me to let me know when the office itself was closing ... since our flight came in late that night (about 8:40 pm), he left the lights on and key in our cabin which was easy for check in. Also, check out is really easy - just drop your key off at the office before 11am. - wi-fi is available but must comment can be spotty at times -- may take some time to upload an instagram but can be done! :) FaceTime may be a bit more difficult but with patience can also be done :) - there is a hot tub on site. we did not use this but did see others using it. - We would recommend this place to anyone! :) again, cabin feel but luxury amenities for a memorable experience! We loved it for out needs - place to meal prep, enjoy a good shower after a long day of hiking/driving, and experience a good sleep. :) read more

Believe the reviews of this place regarding the RV park. The tiny cabins might be great, but the RV park is terrible. Cramped; gave us a different site than promised when we reserved; WiFi is advertised but it's useless; dead grass everywhere. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fireside resort RV park! The people were so friendly and helpful, the grounds were quiet and park-like. They had really nice bike you could just take for the day and a beautiful bike path that took you all around town. It was close to town, close to Teton village, you could take the bus (bus stop was close) or rent one of their jeeps. We walked to Calico restaurant which was really nice with good food. I highly recommend this place! read more
