Add the incredible view and you don't want to leave. The room was very large, nicely decorated with every amenitie we could ever think of. You'll get your own private cabin equipped with a kitchenette that's fully stocked for cooking. It has it's own patio with picnic table and a grill. You also have your own fire pit and parking spot. Inside, it is charmingly decorated with rustic western décor. The bathroom is modern and the bedroom is cozy. I absolutely loved my stay here. Apparently, moose have been known to roam around the property, but I never saw but I am sure they are around during dawn/dusk. There is also a communal hot tub. I just love the privacy. It felt like my own little home.

So they gave us two sites on memorial day weekend with no extra charge. If we end up spending the night we will be paying for another night. This was my first time staying in an honest to goodness Conestoga wagon, and it was truly luxurious. Not words I ever imagined typing. Pulling into Moose Creek Ranch was not immediately remarkable, but beginning to walk the grounds, I felt the persistent mountain breeze, heard the babbling Trail Creek, and saw the peaceful natural surroundings and well-manicured grounds all commanding my recognition. Then there were the comfortable environs of the ranch buildings, inclusive of the cozy lodge room, a game area, and a spot for breakfast, all with a chill music soundtrack wafting through. The staff were friendly through and through. We took advantage of a trail ride with Biscuit, our wrangler, the morning of the 4th of July, and enjoyed his capable, humorous guidance through a forest trail near the Ranch, capably tailed by Rooster the resident corralling canine. And now back to the Conestoga wagon. These things boasted bunk beds and a king size, with a full bathroom, small sitting area, pre-stocked mini bar with room for your own items, plentiful plugs/USB ports, and a highly capable mini-split AC system. Ridiculous (in a good way)! If the original Westward Ho movement had these things, Manifest Destiny would have hinged on thread-count, and we'd have never made it past Ohio. These things would be the Airstreams of the 1800s. Loved the experience. This might be the experience you needed, even if you didn't know it.

On our first full day at the lodge we saw a moose with her two calves. Later, two juvenile red-tailed hawks frequently rested on the rocks by the creek that runs next to the house. A fox and deer visited as well. The manager of the property, Meg, was very accessible, and tended to all our needs. She is a warm, friendly person, as is Chef Renee. Breakfasts were quite a treat, and the evening meals were akin to fine dining. We planned our vacation for over a year, as this was our first extended family trip in quite a while. We came from Washington, Oregon, Georgia, and North Carolina. Wyoming and The Wildflower Lodge did not disappoint. None of us were ready to leave when our week was up. An epic vacation!

We loved having two sinks in the bathroom setup--it made mornings a breeze. The front desk team was kind and welcoming, but there were definite gaps in communication between what I booked online and what the hotel had on file. I had ordered chocolate-covered strawberries for arrival and boxed lunches for our hiking day--neither were acknowledged, and the strawberries never showed up. Also, a $35/night hotel fee popped up that was never disclosed during booking. Thankfully, it was waived due to the service issues, but it's something other guests should be aware of. Would I stay again? Yes. Overall, it's a very nice place to stay--comfortable, clean, and in a good location--but the pricing does feel a little inflated for what you actually get. Then again... that's Jackson Hole!

Unfortunately we ended up leaving before our appointments. We did not get a welcoming friendly vibe. Lack of interests in the customer needs. No thank you! I will take my time and money to another spa. In response to Amber- you are correct. We did receive a tour of your spa which was much appreciated and also expected. Your spa men's locker room also lacked correctly sized spa slides. All were size extra small. But after a very brief short tour there was no one left in sight to assist. "The butler" who didn't realize her title as butler when we asked. We were not sure who to address concerns and questions to." We couldn't find you Amber to address our concerns regarding the very warm temp of the waiting area, get a WiFi password, and recieve proper products for our visit. While you may claim you are an "intimate" boutique spa. Your service did not provide any level of intimate personal experience. Your employees should have the answers to basic questions/ needs of a spa. Lotion is a basic essential.
