Let me start by saying we came for the restaurant, and the vouchers provided by our hotel, but more…read moreon that later. It's bright, and easily accessible. We had a good visit and would return if we are staying in Prince Albert again.
We visited in August 2014, I apologize for finishing my review now, hope you find it helpful.
If you get a players card, there is a discount in the restaurant, and a daily players breakfast deal. If you are staying at a hotel, ask at your hotel's front desk once a day to see if they offer a gaming voucher - we played for an hour on the video slots on the credit from ours. When you redeem the credit at the main desk, do *NOT* be shy to walk over to the players club machine behind you (across from the main desk) and *verify* that the correct amount was placed on your card before you walk away from the desk. We had received 2 vouchers from our hotel, but they were credited for the wrong dates, so we only had half the credit given. We're not much for gambling, but it IS a fun time for a while. My trick to not spending too much money is to not take the credit cards in, and only bring the cash I'm willing to blow for entertainment. :D Not everyone can gamble, and not everyone should.
The restaurant is ok. While it provides basic fare, it is fairly quick service, although I had to reduce my rating by one star for the sheer number of house flies that were in the restaurant. A UV sanitizer was operating on the wall, so there are protocols in place, but asking our server, they weren't sure where all the flies came from. I was surprised that they had really very good gluten free toast available, and my eggs were cooked to perfection. We did choose to eat here twice during our stay, and would go back.
Staff are... varied. The folks in the restaurant were helpful with providing me with gluten free food, and for my significant other, apparently you can order bannock to go! There are two kinds, baked fresh mornings - ask when it's best to get some. We did return before leaving Prince Albert and he brought some home.
There is separate smoking and non-smoking gambling areas, with their respective washrooms.
There are cigarette holders in the non-smoking ladies room, but the main casino is non-smoking. Just over on the left side is a smoking gambling room with video machines and tables. Lots of video gambling machines around the perimeter of the main room, tables in the middle. There is a restaurant, deli, bar and snack machines (under the stairs if you just need a nibble).
Two sets of restrooms off the main non-smoking area, and elevators to the upper level where I believe there are private games rooms. I did not visit the smoking area for health reasons.
Plenty of parking, there is a hotel/motel attached by a walkway. It's definitely easy to locate and get here.
