I could have easily purchased what I needed online, but wanted to support a local retailer in my new hometown, and even though they did have what I was looking for this last visit (for less than I had seen online) I was so annoyed by being ignored a 3rd time in a row, I left empty handed and gave my business to an online retailer in the end. I don't know what I - a middle-aged woman in work attire - did to give them the impression that I wasn't a serious customer. I understand this is a college town, and maybe they're used to the college kids not being able to afford their nice things, but college kids have parents, like me, who can. I recommend, at the very least, the store get a bell on their door, and when it rings, acknowledge the people who are attempting to patronize you; that, alone, would have resulted in my business.

I found a guitar in Everything Musical's Reverb shop advertised at $1,258 with free shipping and an…read moreactive Buy It Now button. I had called in good faith to confirm the guitar's details and buy directly, a route that also saved the store Reverb's fees. Once I called they said they were busy with other customers, and the listing was raised back to $2,600. Eventually the manager Gary offered me the guitar directly for $1,800. He was good to work with but the owner just wouldn't honor the price from when I called. Calling instead of clicking "Buy It Now" cost me $542. Everything Musical came out ahead: it avoided the Reverb fees, and I paid hundreds more than the price it had been publicly advertising minutes earlier. A reputable dealer should stand behind a live advertised price. I would not trust this store's listings or pricing without taking screenshots first, and I would not buy from them again.

When I called to ask if anyone could do razor cuts and texturizing for short thick hair. Will said…read morethat he could give me what I wanted, so I scheduled an appointment. I took pictures of the cut that I wanted. He assured me he could give me that cut. He did use a razor to cut my hair but he did not thin it out as much as I requested. He told me I could come back if I didn't like it. Well I live over 30 minutes away, so why do I want to make another unnecessary trip? Why wouldn't you cut my hair right the first time? Plus, he did not even bother to shape it around my face. The price he charged is ridiculous for the haircut I got. The next stylist I went to said that I had gotten a really bad haircut. She said that I had one really short layer underneath the entire top layer. I would not go back here for a another cut. To add insult to injury, he kept telling me he could do a better job on my hair color. I do a great job on my own hair color and I had just recently colored it, so it looked nice. Plus, complete strangers compliment me on my hair color! What would make him think that he give me the color I want when he can't give me the cut I want? Why not spend some of that energy on learning how to do a razor cut? Or better still, why not be honest with people and tell them you don't know how to do a razor cut? I don't know about any of the other stylist at this location. This review is for Will.
