A great cigar and pipe shop in Columbus. I stopped in today for the first and I was absolutely impressed. The gentleman working at the store was knowledgeable about pipes and cigars, helpful when I asked for recommendations, and was friendly and welcoming. The store had a great selection of cigars at all price ranges, a good assortment of Petersen pipes, and even a sitting area where you can enjoy a peaceful and pleasant smoke. Great selection of different smoking varieties. Lots of knowledgeable workers had seating area to enjoy smoking. Some dingers, however, was very small, cramped area and took a little bit before someone came to talk with us about the varieties. Then, when checking out, the gentleman behind the counter, started talking to someone else while my husband was asking a couple questions. Prices were very fair. We also bought a humidor for our collection. Little pricey for that overall very good establishment for smoking venue and collection with varieties. Highly recommend for any smoking connoisseur to include pipe. Smokers had a great collection for purchases as well. read more

While on the run from Hurricane Irma in Columbus I was in need of a few sticks. They have an awesome selection and the employees were very knowledgeable and helpful. The decor was nice and cozy. I only purchased two because I brought a few up from Jax. The prices were right and the location was perfect. When visiting Columbus to visit in the future I'll absolutley stop in for a cigar haul. read more

Mediocre selection of cigars (they didn't even have Romeo y Juliet) and Adam was overbearing as soon as I walked in the door. Here's the kicker, feel free to buy a stick and smoke in store, but don't ask about the restroom. Steve pretty much said "Go use the bushes." Can't make it up. I've gone in a few times to get cigars for my husband. Adam has always been helpful in recommending a new cigar or helping me find my husband's favorite. I went in today to purchase my husband's birthday gift. Since he just started smoking a pipe, the gentleman showed and explained to me the choices of pipes and tobaccos. I'm not sure what is happening with this place but it is going down hill. I used to be a regular but stopped going a year ago when their prices went sky high. The place is crowded with merchandise so it is almost impossible to look at the selection without running in to someone. Also, the cigar case is locked so you have to ask an employee to get the cigar you want out. A cigar shop is supposed to be a relaxing atmosphere that gives smokers the chance to touch, smell and look at cigars, Sweetbriar has lost touch of that. I won't be going back. read more
