I decided to find a few vendors to install automatic gates for me, and I knew I wanted aluminum because it is much lighter and requires far less maintenance. I always have my assistant contact at least three vendors to compare pricing and to get a sense of whether they are truly knowledgeable. My assistant found two of the vendors and I gave her the information for IRON MEN gates to schedule the appointment. From the moment Elad came out on day one, I was extremely impressed. He has a genuine, down-to-earth personality, and he was serious, professional and clearly knowledgeable about every aspect of the project - exactly what I wanted to accomplish with my gate. The other vendors were much more focused on sales and pitching, rather than taking the time during the initial walkthrough to thoroughly review what I wanted. Elad's proposal was also significantly better in quality and detail. The turnaround time was fast, and it included clear drawings and detailed information about what would be done--something I had not seen from any other vendor I've hired for work around my house. At that point, I knew I wanted to move forward with them. There was some negotiation on pricing, but ultimately I felt the final cost was absolutely worth it. Once I signed the proposal, everything went into motion immediately. They ordered the materials and maintained strong communication throughout the entire process. Elad responded quickly whenever I reached out, and when questions or concern came up, he always had solutions and worked with me. I also had several change orders. They were very patient and accommodating, and importantly, they handled my requests without delaying the completion date by an additional month (which is common with many vendors). They were able to schedule everything effectively and still complete my gates with minimal delays. Every team member who came out -- electrician, the two smooth stucco pillars crew, and the aluminum gate installation team -- was professional, polite, and respectful. Construction projects are stressful by nature, but they were genuinely the easiest vendor I have ever worked with. The best part is that my aluminum gates look incredible. Everyone who passes by my home has commented on how good they look. I have only left a few reviews in my lifetime, and I rarely do unless a vendor truly exceeds expectations. I am very particular and somewhat of a perfectionist, so it was not easy for me to find someone I considered exceptional --but this was absolutely one of those cases. Elad listened carefully to what I wanted to create and brought it to life. They completely out-shined, out-performed, and out-classed them all. I am a very happy customer and will definitely be a returning customer!!!

Way to go Iron Men!

I did not authorize any charges on my credit card related to this order for Richard Von Saal, yet my card was used. I also was not involved in approving, reviewing, or making decisions about the chairs at any point. While I may have been present in a general capacity, I had no role in the order, approvals, or transactions. There have been statements suggesting that I approved work in person or was actively involved in the process. That is not accurate. I did not provide approval, and I was not involved in managing or overseeing this project. Mario is lying stating I was there in person to authorize my credit card. If so, where is my signature? I strongly recommend that anyone entering into agreements ensure all authorizations and approvals are clearly documented in writing. I am currently taking steps to resolve this matter.

I really…read morehate to leave a review like this, especially being an entrepreneur and small business owner myself, but this is where I draw the line. I found Mario on yelp, decided to go with him because of his work/pictures and relatively positive reviews. Mario was hired to make custom railings for my townhouse that my partner and I had just closed on. Although his pricing was higher than other bids we had received, I wanted to give him a chance as he seemed nice, professional and talented. Man was I wrong! Upon sending the deposit/signing the contract, Mario had informed me that he was going to be traveling to Colombia for three weeks and wouldn't be able to get to my job until he returned, I was patient and understanding. When he returned a week went by and I had yet to hear from him. He was unresponsive, taking days to return my calls/texts. Deposit was sent July 3rd, he finally came to do the fitting August 24th, 7.5 weeks since initial deposit was paid. Day of the fitting, the railings were significantly big for our space and wouldn't work. Mind you, he never showed us samples of sizes nor renderings. The moment I asked about changing the size, Mario's attitude completely changed arguing that he had to pay his workers, he lost a day of work and he was in the hole for the materials. (Isn't that your job? To pay your employees and front materials, the whole reason I paid a deposit?) I agreed to pay his workers day rate (which I shouldn't have) and Mario agreed to make the necessary changes after several discussions. Now we're at September 13th, still haven't heard anything from Mario. After reaching out multiple times he finally gets around to communicating the railings were complete and ready for install but this time he was demanding the balance be paid in cash and wanted half up front day before installation. So I've now paid him $1,500 and have nothing to show for it and your now demanding a cash payment?! And another $2k day before installation at 10pm? Needless to say, Mario never showed up for the day of installation because I wouldn't agree to pay him in cash. No call or text communicating the cancellation either I've never in dealt with a more rude, unprofessional and insulting vendor/contractor in my life. I offered to pay Mario via zelle, Venmo, cashapp, bank wire and certified check, he still demanded cash payment and wouldn't let up. He's unresponsive throughout business hours and only texts late at night, never answers calls to speak with his customers. How do you run a business like this? Our contract stated $1,500 deposit and the remaining $4k be paid after completion/installation but he kept changing things and making new demands. I also requested my deposit back so I could take my business elsewhere but Mario would not return it so I'm stuck working with this clown. Do yourself a favor and avoid Mario by all costs. *update* he installed the railings after paying him $4k in cash and the quality is horrible: scratched, inconsistencies and multiple colored screws used. For all his demands, dude couldn't even get the same colored screws. Pictures posted.

I talked to others in the industry they tell me that the going rate to install a hood is $1000 per foot. George and the team at Alpine charged me $10k for the 6 foot. So the roof should have cost me $6000. I paid ten. On top of that George uses the WORST clowns in the industry to subcontract work to. From Jesse who drew up the plumbing plans and got them rejected by the city of long beach. He didn't really know what the hell was going on. To Raymond. Who codes all his blueprints to the city of LA. even though long beach has a very different code. He drew in a $6000 grease trap into my plans and an earthquake valve. That little error cost me an extra $460 IT ALMOST cost me and extra $6460. I had to fight the city for the plans in order to approve the small grease trap. George doesnt care though, Once he has your money YOU WILL NEVER SEE HIM ... Then he has the nerve to INSTALL THE WRONG fan on the roof. ANOTHER 2 week delay there. THEN after he sent people back again. (Mind you the contractor he sent was like 19 years old and didnt know his ass from his elbow. ) They uilt the exhaust too close to the vent ... then I had to call them BACK to move it. Plus the contractor he works with "Macco Construction" is over priced and just subcontracts work. Plus one time A check cashing place called me to verify a check for "Macco" What kind of reputable business man doesn't use a bank and uses a ghetto check cashing place. On top of that George added another $900.00 to my final bill and couldnt really explain what it was for. Also once you get his cell phone number, and your right and he knows he doesn't have a leg to stand on HE SIMPLY DUCKS YOUR CALLS. George is too busy making money on other projects more important than yours. George is responsible for the worst 4 months of my life! His shoddy subcontracting and "I dont care about your project because its small potatoes" attitude literally left me on the hook for 5 months paying rent for a store that would not open. To top it all off the oven he sold me had no racks in it. And the deep fryer he sold me GOES OUT mysteriously during a lunch rush. Oh on top of that I had to pay for MY OWN air uptake test ANOTHER $500! ( He only provided a test when his incompetent comany installed THE ENTIRELY WRONG Fan on my roof. My friend is in this business told me "He installed the wrong fan, thats about as incompetent as it gets" $10k is the biggest purchase I've ever made. In my mind the clowns at Alpine owe me at least 4 months of rent. Ask around theres other people who install hoods. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE A-Z
