My trellis in my front yard broke from the weight of my roses around it. It lasted at least 10+ years. I called for an estimate from three different businesses. It wasn't the cheapest bid but it was reasonable. They were the only business that new how to fix it without creating something that I did not need. This is a very easy review because I have nothing but amazing and positive things to say about Prime Access Control. They replaced an old, falling apart and rickety gate leading to my carport with a literal work of art that is now functional and has added so much to my property value. Prime Access is a small company owned by three wonderful guys who are so responsive, so polite and so professional and respectful, it's the bar that every construction/gate company needs to start reaching for. Here's a pro tip for other companies who deal with female customers: please do not treat us like we are objects, or talk down to us, or talk to us like we are cute but dumb. We don't like that. Other companies bid on my gate job and every single one of them did one of these things in some shape or form, except for Prime Access. I reached out to Prime Access Control in January 2021 in hopes of having an existing Vinyl Driveway and Pedestrian access gate replaced with an automatic gate. My dream was a black metal frame with some high quality wood inlayed. Beyond that, I had no idea what to expect or even how to start. I initially reached out to several other companies through their websites and heard nothing back. Given that we were in the heart of the pandemic, I suppose I understand. Eventually, I found Prime Access Control on Yelp and sent them my request via their website. Walid called me the same day and was able to come out to look at my gate the next day. I was instantly pleased with the way I was treated on the phone and was very eager to get started. Walid, Ramzey & Austin arrived at my house early, in their very professionally equipped Prime Access Control work truck. All three were wearing masks and very considerate of current Covid-19 Protocols. From the instant they arrived, I knew that this was not going to be a typical home improvement job. These guys are beyond kind and incredibly personable. I felt instantly at ease. They reviewed my existing gates and asked me what my vision for the project was. I showed them some photo samples of what I thought looked nice. They let me know that the project I had in mind was right in their wheelhouse and they immediately started firing off ideas on design and what wood to use. After receiving what I thought was a more than fair quote, I signed a contract with Prime Access Control and the process started. The highlight of this relationship in my opinion was their incredible level of communication. Ramzey and I would text back and forth almost daily regarding the project. If I had a question, I never had to wait for a response. The entire project was completed in a month and half. Those of you that have experience with projects like this know that there are always hiccups. In my opinion, the thing that seperates great contractors from others, is how they handle the hiccups. Please believe me when I say that these guys set the standard for project management. The only issues my project had were three rain delays that we all know we can't control. We did go back and forth a few times with some different wood and this was when I learned how much these guys really cared about the outcome of the project. Initially, Ramzey had suggested a beautiful Clear Heart Mahogany for the gates. With the initial setup, he felt like the wood he got didn't sit right and wanted to try something else. We moved to a redwood which we agreed on but in the end, Ramzey quickly realized that it wasn't what we had envisioned and insisted on starting again. The team went above and beyond to have a specialist take a look at the original wood and run it through a special mill to make it work. The bottom line is, these guys will treat your project like it was their own home. They will not cut corners or allow it to look anything less than perfect. You'll see in the photo's that we also did some masonry work. Prime Access control has Masonry experts and electricians that they use to handle this specialty work. All were amazing and live up to the Prime Access Control standard. My project has been done for a few days now and with each day that passes, I love my new gates more and more. They are truly works of art with a lot of blood sweat and tears poured in. I whole heartedly recommend everyone with a gate or access control project in mind to reach out to these guys immediately. The Holy Grail of Reviews I have been in the building/construction game for a long time and every now and then I am lucky enough to come across an absolutely awesome contactor. 5 Stars is not enough for this individual. Austin Kagan of Prime Access performed an install upgrade to my commercial electronic gate system. The entire installation was timely clean and professional. By no fault of Austin's, after about a week the new upgrade system installed and provided by the manufacturer had an unusual manufacturer erratic glitch, would basically work fine for a day then have a mind of its own. Now came the true test, how will the installer react? What I will say now will be a testament to Austin's pride in his work, his consciousness, and his character. My commercial facility was about 60 miles away from Austin, Austin went way beyond the call of professionalism, not only was he in contact with me every day he was coming all the way out each time to work on the unit and to find out why the manufacturer's system was malfunctioning, assuring me all the way along he would not rest until it was fixed. Even coming out in the evening and on the weekend.
