So welcoming and really Christ centered. I started away, for about 15 years and then found myself being pulled back by the Holy Spirit. Started attending again in 2023 and will never stray again. It is a family of imperfect people, longing for and worshiping our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The community outreach is just amazing and the people are so welcoming and loving. In a church this size a lot of times people get lost in the mix. That's not the case. This church is large and has multiple services but if you plug in, to anything really, you will make many lasting friendships. We are now in a small group that we were invited to check out during one of our first visits. Those people have become a second family since we have none locally. We meet weekly and have lots of non study get together as well. It's not a chore, we want to be more involved because the people are just great. The kids programs are great as well, Vbs and winshape and even Just Sunday morning services for children's church are very well thought out. As for the church, they are honest with their beliefs but they are not uncaring, finger pointing, or the "judgemental" Christians that people have unfortunately seen lately. They are not "anything goes" in their beliefs but they are certainly loving and compassionate Christians that treat others the way Jesus asked us to. I am so thankful for what this church has done for my family and look forward to what is to come. Our son recently accepted Jesus as savior and we are excited to see him grow up in this church and learn to serve others. Something that is discussed and encouraged often here.

I had thought that church would be a safe place to work through a few things that were going on in my life. Instead (with a few exceptions), I got the exact opposite. While most of the leaders I talked to were willing to listen when I told them that I was being bullied at the church, nothing was ever done to prevent the bully from repeating her actions. As a matter of fact, one of my "friends" told me that I should forgive her and allow it, despite the fact that her behavior toward me was downright hurtful (verbally and even physically) and had not stopped. Along that line, when I tried to be open with teachers/leaders for my age group regarding some other difficult points in my life, I was shut down/scolded to the point where I felt uncomfortable even attending my small group. It became clear that the leaders preferred it when we didn't talk about the difficulties we were facing. All that said, I did have several caring youth leaders who were willing to listen. It's just that several were not. Overall, this church does have many kind people in it; in fact, some of the individuals I've met here are the kindest I've ever known, and I wish that I could continue to attend without such awful behavior from some being swept under the rug. But attending this church isn't worth the stress brought on by dealing with handful of horrible adults and youth in student ministry.

Don't get me wrong, element church is great, pastor erik seriously cannot be topped and his love for element goes far. unfortunately, i left this church, even though i used to drive 45 minutes (because of how much i loved it) due to the overwhelming amount of conversation on MONEY! so.. much.. giving! don't get me wrong, giving to the church is incredible. but talks about money would go for at least 30 minutes at element. made the people that couldn't afford to always give feel terrible, and guilty. I love the old element, but when half the sermon became about giving and thousands of dollars of "goals to expand" it felt less like a church and more like a charity.
