After we got married, my husband and I went church "hopping" to try to find a place that we both felt at home. After visiting multiple churches, we came to FCF and immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. But most important, the sermons were biblical and on point. Pastor Steve does an excellent job of keeping the congregation engaged, but also delivering truth. We have gotten involved with a couple of different Life Groups (small groups) and have found those to be a place to get to know others. Would highly recommend visiting this church! There are satellite campuses in Springville and Pell City if that's closer to you. And during the COvID-19 pandemic, live streaming is the way to go!

We had been looking for a new church home for a while, and came here based on a friend's recommendation. They are very welcoming, with greeters at every door. They have free coffee and breakfast, for those who are stumbling in late. Guests will be given free CFA sandwich coupons. They have modern and traditional worship services. Two services every Sunday morning. Since they are a bigger church, they have small group sessions of all kinds so that way people will feel a part of the church and get to know other congregation members. They preach the word faithfully to the Bible and I'm so glad we found a place to grow closer to God and get plugged into our community.

The pastors do minister to the congregation in a very personal intimate way. It was beyond refreshing to our family after coming from a very large church where the pastors are literally taught to not waste time pastoring the people but to grow up other leaders to do that. This church has the heart to pursue God above pleasing man.

Matt Scott most be a good public speaker but he does not minster to the congregation. The only time I heard from him was after I was lied to and wrote the church that I was leaving. Then he calls me up and insults me, telling me that I am acting childess . That was when I told him we need to end the call and hung up. No one from the Church battered to find out why I was upset. Can't imagine what happens when you're not. They need cameras and weekly trainings. You hear parents and teachers fighting a lot and apparently toddlers have just pooped during their time on the playground and parents have pointed it out to the teachers because they were blissfully unaware.
