So very loud it gave me a headache and really hurt my husbands ears (he has tinnitus) to the point that he had to cover his ears with his hands the whole time. Jason Crabb sang and the words were beautiful, but again so horribly loud it was painful. We were hoping to at least enjoy the pastors message but he was so loud it was unbearable and we had to leave. We were told to use earplugs when we were leaving but I have birth defects in my ears and can't and WHY does the service have to be so loud that earplugs are offered or necessary!!!!

I felt that God was not fully honored. This way Of teaching may be ok for children ages 3 to 8 but not on a Sunday. Maybe on a Wed. Nite service. Also you had brite flashing lights like on a Broadway musical And dancers up on stage and one lady(last week) dressed in a very small outfit that had sequins and was not appropriate in showing God honor. I grew up in the SDA church but my husband is not SDA and he mentioned a few things he enjoyed that were not typical of the SDA churches we've been to--The table seating (no rows) and come-as-you-feel attire was a pleasant surprise. He was nervous wearing jeans because he feared it wasn't "sda church appropriate" but he relaxed when he saw the pastor wearing jeans, too! He also pointed out the way the offering and tithe was collected was different-no "God needs our money" spiel. When we come back to the Chattanooga area, we'll definitely attend again.

A day later, I received an email back stating their website is undergoing a renovation and asked for me to call their office, stating that email address is not monitored. HA! I called their office, left my name, number and what I was inquiring about on June 9, 2017. I FINALLY received a call back today, June 13, 2017, just to be told, NO WE DON'T RENT OUR FACILITY. 1st off, the email was definitely monitored and responded a LOT faster than a phone call. 2nd, it's a shame a place refuses to rent out for a 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration, members or not. Especially knowing God joined 2 people there 50 years ago! 3rd, way to run off potential new members in the community from joining your church. And last but not least, your church is only a place, God will be with us no matter where we celebrate, so thanks for making a couples joining by God 50 years ago, seem unimportant. I've never been so disappointed in a church until now. The Lord shall lead our way, so in that fact, I am comforted. I just hope no one else wears such disappointment from this place they call a house of The Lord, because they obviously have no intentions of sharing in God's love with anyone other than their members.
