This church is one of my favorite churches. It holds so many great memories here for me…read more First off, it's gorgeous. The church itself, and the hall is amazing. There's a big parking lot so you don't have to worry about finding a place to park during Mass or whatever event is being held by the parish. The people are so welcoming. They invite you into their lives and into their hearts. They are connected to the community. They help out the schools in the dioceses. When there are events, they can afford to hire security. There's a park nearby too! Honestly, if you're a Catholic or just someone looking for a place to find God, then this is the place for you.

Was going through a rough season where I found myself being pursued by God - for the first time in my life I can say I've ever been willing and open to leaning into my faith this way. About two months into rebuilding my relationship with God and I think it is safe to say we have found our home church with Bay and this campus specifically. Tried out a few churches in the area and Bay is what felt most like home for us. It was very important for me to find a place where I can be MYSELF and know God - I have felt a huge sense of peace and comfort coming here and feeling like I've found this. So amazing how involved Bay is within the community and the services it offers for the underserved communities. These are offered on an ongoing basis and engrained in their values which is so humbling to know. I've felt a tug to be involved in what they have to offer, to learn more, and so far it has been great. After service we always walk away feeling lighter, seen, and inspired. They rotate between different pastors to come and speak on Sunday and we love that we get a mix of different people to share the word. Their worship team is also so great and sings beautifully. Never in my life have I felt this hunger and it's an absolute blessing. What was "that church off the freeway with the lights on the hill" will hopefully be our forever home church.

I was so excited and captivated by his ability to bring the word in a form that not only the older members could relate to, but the young adults, youth, and even children were on their feet. Then one night in the middle of the week, I had the blessing of witnessing First Lady Nakia Foster give her testimony and a message about the change that brought her to the new women she had become. I said at that moment when they start their own church we would follow them wherever they went... And that is exactly what we did. I feel so blessed that we were able to be apart of the birth of The Rock Church Bay Area and now we are in the year of the grounding. We are so excited to see what the next years to come will bring us with our spiritual growth journey. Pastor teaches us to speak what we want into existence. He says Say it out loud, Write it down and This way you can work on it. If you are looking to receive open arms, lots of Love, and a positive blessed word than don't wait another day...... Pastor Christopher Foster and First Lady Nakia Foster are phenomenal. It's is so nice to know that they lead by example and allow you to be you... The services are very short (1-1.5 hr.) and to the point and includes original praise and worship music that give it a unique personality. There is a surprising amount of volunteerism within the group compared to many churches. They make a concerted effort to help their community and participate in public events as well.
