I attended the candlelight Christmas services that they invited the community to on Instagram. I always wanted to view a candlelight ceremony on Christmas, so I took two of my sons there with me. It was a beautiful moment when the candles were all lit in unison and we were in the dark after a wonderful sermon of Jesus being the ROCK as our foundation instead of being built on sand and a shaky foundation. It really was a moving event that actually brought me to tears. People were so friendly and happy and the pastor's wife welcomed us in the front (I just knew her from the IG-never met her before but as I shook her hand it was like a comfort feeling that i knew her). The front entry was beautifully decorated with multiple Christmas trees and great place for family photos! They had brought in snow (how do you do that!?) for the kids to slide down in snow tires and my grandson loved it! I usually do not like flashy rock concert style of singing at churches-I don't know why, but I am more into the quieter churches and the congregation singing. BUT I actually enjoyed the singing here. It is a very big church that they had tv screens for you to see everything, so that may be intimidating for some, But everyone was welcoming and seemed to love it there! I have heard nothing but good things about the church and the pastor there and his inspiring sermons. I know people who come from other cities to this church and I have seen them grow, but never attended. I am still kind of shy(bc it is so big), but I think I would like this church. I have been to many different churches even ones that others rave about, but I usually got red flags or it didn't feel comfortable to me-this one was the closest to a church I felt at home. First of all, I don't like to talk about a church. So I'm just gonna say I'm only saying what I'm gonna say. So people know what they're walking into before they do I went there the first time the sermon seemed to be good until she started speaking in tongues. There was no interpreter, so it made me feel very uncomfortable. I talked to somebody that had worked there and they said they don't do weddings and they don't do. Somebody. Died even if somebody worked there, they won't even say they died. I also heard that the pastor's the wife and the husband have body guards that you can't talk to them personally. What type of pastor has body guards? You only have body guards when you do wrong that. That's just my opinion to me. It seems like a cold. I love this church! The worship, the DreamTeam, the smalls groups, everyone is amazing.

To start this off, Pastor Shaun and Dianna are wonderful pastors this post has nothing to do with them personally. This post has to do with the "dream team." I attended fellowship church for about a year and joined the dream team. I found this church when I was in a very dark place and I had finally thought I found my people. Turns out, this so called "dream team" is probably the fakest people I have ever met. They pretend to be your friend but then will completely throw you aside and insult you with snarky comments and such. I became pretty close with some of the youth leaders and had opened up to them about some personal things only to get judged and have it thrown in my face. They pretend to care but really they just go and gossip with each other. They are such Hippocrates. They preach about not gossiping, being kind, etc but yet they are the ones who need to practice what they preach. It's disgusting and I ended up feeling more miserable than ever so I left the church. If you are going to visit this church go for it because of how amazing pastor shaun and Dianna are. They give the most amazing sermons that touch your heart but I would stay clear from the dream team and getting close to anyone there. Good luck. read more

I first watched videos of Pastor Shaun's sermons online, and his preaching made scripture relatable and understandable. After considering him one of my favorite preachers, I realized his church is not only in my state, but just across the bay--- Then I met the Nepstad family on separate occasions at a restaurant I work at in the airport on their way to a missions trip, and they are all genuinely kind and have big hearts to serve the lord. I've visited on a Christmas service and felt at home. Now that I'm homebound in self quarantine with our newborn, I have been watching their online streams. I was going through a very tough time in my life: an unexpected divorce after more than a decade in an unhappy marriage, I didn't have a home, my Daddy had just passed away, etc. Fellowship Church & that family member saved my sanity. For example today was a service about parenting and they made it relatable for aunties/uncles and people just wanting to make the community a better place! And they also have a free daycare while attending a service. Anyone who works with kids is background checked and no one is aloud in the area without badges! I attended the service on Mother's Day at 12:45 pm...finally with my mom and family. It was my Moms and siblings first time, but when we got inside we were surprised it was a video service and not a Live one. It was a big disappointment. I was thinking since it's Mothers Day, for sure all services will be Live. But it was a video of the earlier service instead. Then when we picked up my niece and nephew, I asked what did they learn? They went to the kindergarten and 4yr old classes... they said they just played. No bible lessons. And for the 1st to 5th grade, they were shown a video. What's the point of taking them to Sunday school if it will just be like a day care for them? But leaders keep encouraging us to invite people, bring people in, worship God and be present. But the lead pastors themselves are not even present? Or the Sunday school teachers are just there to facilitate the kids for registration but not really teaching kids anything and depend solely on videos. I wish they can change it coz at first I really felt like I found the church for me and my family. I like how Bay Church in Concord do their Sunday school esp for K to 5th graders. There's always someone live in person doing the teaching for the kids and they have a series as well. But it's just too far from us now. read more

To all looking for a place that will accept you as you are, THIS IS NOT THE CHURCH. If they'd just be up front and open about not wanting gay members serving, which is their whole thing, to get closer to God and for tour life to change, you have to volunteer with the church, that'd be different. I found out that this church isn't as accepting as they say they are. Not being accepting of the LGBTQ+ community is not loving your neighbor, and it is not very Godly. I was so excited to share the wonderful experiences I have had here with my Trans best friend, hoping that they could find a way to be accepted and loved in a way their family couldn't do for them. But to know that they would exclude lesbian women from small groups and dream team due to their sexuality is absolutely heartbreaking. If you're apart of the LGBTQ+ community and hope for inclusion here, I'd consider finding another church. This is extremely disappointing and I hope it's something they work on going forward. God save the souls of the people making these choices and I pray they see the error of their ways. read more

Zero stars My family and I began watching this church when the pandemic began. My eldest daughter bought the pastors book, " Dont Quit in the Dip" she started to read it and was all excited to go to the book signing to get it signed by Shaun Nepstad. Big disappointment Shaun Nepstad was not nice. My daughter is a very outgoing gracious person, my daughter is very friendly. She tried to talk to him about how she appreciated his sermons online during quarantine and his attitude was like he could care less and was like "next". I was with my daughter and witnessed the whole thing. Shaun Nepstad was neither humble nor grateful that my daughter purchased his book or showed any interest in her appreciation of how the church online helped her and our family during this difficult time. We were taken back and so disappointed. The book has been in her trunk ever since. This church is all fluff and zero substance. We will not be watching another sermon online or ever attending this church, ever. read more

I just attended church today with my husband and mother, we are 40 years old and my mom is 61. This is a great family oriented church and they have ministry for kids to adults. Its inviting and also very annointed and Pastor Shaun always breaks down his preachings where if you've been saved for a long time you'll get a blessed Word or if your a newcomer you will definitely understand everything and feel blessed as you leave! My family and I attended this church for my first time and did not like it we got kicked out of service because my 1 year old made a couple of squeaks they made my family and I feel embarrassed and humiliated at the way they escorted us out. They said they were recording and that they didn't want baby sounds but my daughter only made a couple squeaks unbelievable. So that's why I give them zero stars! / People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples review them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, " let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." I personally can't understand the overwhelmingly glowing reviews of this church. I went here for only a few months and that was plenty. Pastor Shaun has a way of turning every sermon into an advertisement for the church. I also can't get over how caught up he is in his finances -- someone might want to remind him that his bank account won't follow him to Heaven. After his sermons he just runs off the platform and disappears. So there you have it. A God-preaching, money-worshiping, non-personable pastor who SOMEHOW still manages to draw a crowd. Fellowship Church has been such a blessing in my life during the quarantine. I grew up in church and having a close relationship with the Lord and can honestly say I didn't maintain that relationship like I should have as a young adult/adult. Going through some tough times in my life, I still have always leaned on God and my faith but with the click of a button I was able to start watching/joining services every Sunday and working to rebuild my relationship with the Lord. Pastor Shaun and Pastor Diana make the word so relatable to the struggles we all face in everyday life and have helped to give me the tools I need to get centered again in my faith and to know that God's got me. As a single Mom to a 4-year old that had just started a Christian preschool this year but unfortunately due to the pandemic has been home the past 2+ months, TFC Kids has been an amazing resource for us and she truly enjoys sitting down and learning about Jesus each week and interacting with the stories/songs.
