I thankfully questioned it and did not give him the medication; I followed up with his PCP who confirmed it was the wrong dosage (also stated it was the wrong medication for his malady) and stated, "those places will kill you." I believe it. I will not trust these providers again.

Pick an appointment time and show up on time. But the receptionist always has a problem. The mother has to call her. Then this time I was told the mother has to fill out the online registration. Why does it matter who fills out something online? Then I was told they needed the mothers license even though I am the one bringing her in. The requirements change even though the mother has told them every time that its ok for me to bring her. This time I was told that the mother has to come in and fill out a form. You are not allowed to take the form with you. If the mother could come in then I wouldn't be bringing. I had made an appointment online. When I got there we were told it was an hour and a half wait. When I asked about our appointment we were told it isn't really an appointment its just a hold. But if we were late for the appointment then we would not have a hold. The real reason for the wait that day was because they only had one PA working. If they had told me that then it would have made sense. So go to First Care if you want just dont expect to get through the door. I take my granddaughter to the doctor anytime she is sick. I don't get treated like that at any of the other places. Beware.

The waiting room was clean as was the restroom. My wife was a little annoyed that the waiting room smelled like the vape shop next door. Unfortunately that is where all the positives end. Walking into the establishment from outside, there were two ladies in scrubs sitting right on the sidewalk against the building smoking. Definitely not a classy look. They snubbed out their cigarettes and followed my wife in the door. We brought our daughter in law in for a sick visit. She does not have insurance presently and so my wife accompanied her inside to pay for the visit. Our daughter in law was presenting with sore throat, heavy sinus congestion and pain in her sinuses, headache, a productive cough, slight dizziness and global weakness. She had been sick for a few days. My wife sat in the waiting room waiting for our daughter in law's return from her exam. Moments later, (my wife would describe it as before her seat got warm) our daughter in law came back from her exam. It wasn't even five minutes she was in the examining room. Moments later my wife accompanied my daughter in law to the car where I was waiting. I was shocked that they were back already and I questioned why they hadn't seen her. I was then informed that they had. Being an emergency medical technician and knowing that a routine physical exam takes longer than I had just waited I questioned my daughter in law to make sure she hadn't misunderstood and left prematurely. She hadn't. She told me the doctor hadn't checked her ears or listened to her lungs. She said the doctor asked her a few questions, prescribed her cough syrup and sent her on her way. She reported having no real exam. No one checked her ears, her lymph nodes and glands or listened to her breath sounds. No antibiotics were prescribed. Now, I understand the reluctance of doctors to prescribe them for colds, but this was a sinus infection. My wife and I went to our family doctor and antibiotics fixed our issues, so our expectation of antibiotics was the same. At the time, I did not realize our daughter in law had not been prescribed antibiotics, or I would have gone in and asked for an amendment to the prescribed treatment plan to add them. A few days later our daughter in law is now getting progressively worse, and I question why the antibiotics were not working for her. That is when I was informed none had been prescribed. My wife immediately called the Urgent Care to see if we could avoid another $100 office visit. The lady who answered the phone said our daughter in law would have to return for a visit. My wife asked her to speak to the doctor, and the woman she spoke with said that there are a number of doctors here, I don't know which one your daughter in law saw. No consultation with a doctor was made. No one pulled our daughter in law's chart to see what had or hadn't been done, nor to determine who they should consult. Just a "come back" from office staff. They were not helpful at all. We found a different Urgent Care in town and I'm happy to report that, after antibiotics prescribed, our daughter in law is doing much better. This clinic is sloppy and has a very blasé, non-committal attitude toward healthcare. It was like being herded through cattle chutes for routine treatment. There is no professional presentation or customer service. We will never be back. It wasn't so much that my daughter in law was not examined properly, though that is a contributing issue to my poor review. What really upsets me is the put off we received when my wife called trying to get our patient some antibiotic therapy.. Let me also say this. We used to be happy with this urgent care, but it recently rebranded and clearly it was not a positive transition. Given the service we received, I don't expect this clinic to succeed long term.

This building has an ambulance only entrance and another entrance in the back. They do have metal detectors and do bag searches if you bring bag/purse in. It did take some time to be seen by a provider. I was seen by RN for vitals and to be swabbed for Covid/Flu and strep. After that seen by registration. It did take some time to be seen by a provider. Once seen an initial exam was done and my swab results all came back negative. I was prescribed some strong cough medicine and went to nearest 24 hour pharmacy. When checking out, that's when I had to pay my co-pay vs paying up front. I did get my keys back and checking the time. I was there for only over an hour. I read other reviews where people waited longer. I guess it depends on how many people are there and if you're there for urgent care/ER visit. ER is 24/7 Urgent care 7a-9p. I had an excellent experience and couldn't ask for better quality of care. I'd definitely come back here.
