We checked in with about 10 other people. Their process was streamlined and efficient. We were in a room in 1/2 hour. All personal were great but a special shout out to Dr. Smith. I have never seen a doctor with such wonderful manners and concern and compassion. He was funny and had my mom at ease immediately. We both loved him. He walked us to the exit door. This was as great an experience as one could hope for given the circumstances. Thank you all!!!!

During my travel from Indiana down to Kentucky, I tasked my husband with trying to find a facility that would complete a test. He looked up anywhere nears Mayslick (my destination). He, of course, found the emergency room at a local hospital but after calling, it was over $400.00 for the test and it wasn't even a rapid test. No thanks! We ended up finding Fast Pace Health Urgent Care of Maysville. I pulled in, opened the door and was immediately greeting by a lovely lady. I stated that I was traveling from Maryland, to Indiana, to Kentucky, and finally back home to Maryland due to a death in the family and that I need a COVID test completed. She immediately began informing me of the timeline for results and the amount for the test. She was upfront, professional, and very kind. I ended up paying exactly $190.00 for the test. Which was a sting knowing that there a re so many other places that are free but it didn't downplay the facility. Everyone and everything about the facility were clean, professional, orderly, and efficient. The ONLY possible complaint/concern I have was the wait. I believe there was only one doctor at the facility that day and I was literally the ONLY patient there. The receptionist mentioned to me that I was the only one there. It took about 30 minutes to process my information, take my payment, then to be seen by the doctor for the test. When I was escorted back to the room, I sat for about 15 more minutes without being seen then to have a nurse come in, take my blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, etc. Any other COVID test site does nothing of the sort. You drive up, show your ID, they swab you, you leave. I waited about another 15-20 minutes AFTER the nurse to get the actual COVID test which took all of 10 seconds. I was there over an hour for the test. Besides the large amount of time spent there (with no other patients at the facility), it was a pleasant, clean, and safe experience. Thank you for the COVID test and I hope I never have to visit again (in a good way). Thank you!

My employee stepped on a nail that went into his foot and needed immediate medical treatment. He…read morewent to Concentra for treatment, but they refused to treat him because they said he needed to provide additional paperwork and file a workers' compensation claim before they could proceed. This situation put my employee at risk, as the nail injury required prompt medical attention. He returned to our office, and we attempted to address the workers' compensation paperwork. After 6:00 p.m., he went back to Concentra for treatment, but they again refused to treat him because they said they needed the adjuster's name. All of the workers' compensation information and paperwork had been provided to Concentra through the workers' compensation email, yet they still refused to provide treatment. Because he was unable to receive treatment at Concentra, my employee left and went to Baptist Health Urgent Care. They accepted him and provided the necessary medical treatment. I am extremely disappointed with the way Concentra handled this situation. An employee with a puncture wound from a nail should not have to leave without treatment because of administrative paperwork, especially when the workers' compensation information had already been provided.

I arrived at about 8:50am and there was already 3 people in line waiting. Once the doors opened a few more followed behind us. I was registered quickly and sent over to the swabbing line to get tested for the winter trio. And what do you know I'm flu positive.
