About a third of their store is walled off to create a party room, so we inquired about that for our son's upcoming birthday. All the employees were very busy helping all the customers but one referred us to a QR code that gave some online information, but I do wish they weren't as busy, so we could talk to someone and ask a few question I have...but that can wait until after the holiday. We found a nice Ninjago set at a reasonable price and my son showed me several things he wanted to add to his wishlist as well. We only had to stand in line about 5-7 minutes to check-out and the cashier was friendly, so I'm sure we will be back soon to do more browsing and buying when we have more time.

It's a treasure trove of unique community cookbooks from ladies' auxiliaries, churches, schools, and local organizations that you simply cannot find anywhere else. Beyond the books, the prices are amazing, the coffee is great, and the atmosphere is just perfect for browsing. It's the complete package. My only wish is that they would open a location in the RGV so I wouldn't have to drive so far! Until then, we'll gladly make the pilgrimage. I told him "no, we are just looking around". My wife and I made our way through the store, and upon going towards the back we noticed an open door to what seemed to be another room with merchandise neatly displayed with prices so we assumed it was merchandise for sale. We were in there for about 30 seconds when the employee from the front came back into the room and said very aggressively "can I help you?". I told him once again no that we were just looking around. He then again aggressively told us "well if you aren't talking money you need to get up out my store, I don't have time to waste with y'all". We then fearfully made a quick walk to the front door and left. It seemed like there is some kind of illegal activity going on in the back of the business and we stumbled upon something that we weren't supposed to see.
