I needed to immediately close 4 accounts ("Group A"-Savings & Checking, & "Group B"-Savings & Checking). If I didn't, the fraudsters would still have access to those accounts. First, one ORNL employee spoke with me by phone, combined the two "Group A" accounts and quickly cut a cashier's check for me to save all of that money. Then she was able to close those accounts. The other employee removed the money still in the "Group B" accounts and closed those accounts. With the four accounts closed and all money saved, we could calmly walk through setting up whatever new accounts I chose. Their performance in my view and with my background was excellent. (My only real issue after 20+ years with ORNL has been with the online banking I'm constantly using. Sometimes the technical updating can be frustrating).
