I asked the two ladies in this useless credit union if my son could sit there in their chair for five minutes until I got that CD to take to Vanderbilt Hospital and they said no. My son has double pneumonia. And is scheduled for open heart surgery at Vanderbilt in a few weeks so I didn't think it was too much to ask if I (he) could borrow the chair for five minutes so that he didn't have to walk with me since he was out of breath. If it wasn't so sad, it would almost be funny at how cruel people are these days.With that said I'm going to make certain that every family member I have remove themselves from this credit union since they are so heartless and inhumane. I sure do hope those two little ladies that were working on November 4, 2025 at 11:30 am have the day they deserve or better yet the life they deserve. I needed to immediately close 4 accounts ("Group A"-Savings & Checking, & "Group B"-Savings & Checking). If I didn't, the fraudsters would still have access to those accounts. First, one ORNL employee spoke with me by phone, combined the two "Group A" accounts and quickly cut a cashier's check for me to save all of that money. Then she was able to close those accounts. The other employee removed the money still in the "Group B" accounts and closed those accounts. With the four accounts closed and all money saved, we could calmly walk through setting up whatever new accounts I chose. Their performance in my view and with my background was excellent. (My only real issue after 20+ years with ORNL has been with the online banking I'm constantly using. Sometimes the technical updating can be frustrating).

I'm 81 years old and find it difficult to ride a bus. Without a debit card I can't order Uber or ride the CAC Lift bus. I definitely can't order from Instacart. The worst part of this ordeal is not paying my bills. Netflix and Hulu have stopped my movies. Amazon has denied any items that I ordered including much needed underwear and socks. So I don't have any food except junk I can buy from a junk machine - food I don't eat except in times like these!
