When she said she was not able to pay that, they offered to balayage her hair WITHOUT A TONER, for $300. They then went on to explain that a toner would be $80 extra and a cut $75 extra!! I would have walked out right away. That is not right in any way and you can tell they only care about the money and not about their clients. These people were about to let her walk out of there with untoned, wet hair before they offered a "complimentary" blowout. If they can let a client walk out of their salon with out toning their hair and at least drying it, that puts their reputation on the line as well and they so obviously do not care. TONER SHOULD BE INCLUDED ANY TIME HAIR IS BLEACHED. DO NOT GO HERE.

Downside is that it is located downtown and parking is always a pain. You also never know who you're gonna get so you won't know how good or experienced they are or how long they will take. But you can always request the same student or stylist if you're comfortable with that one person. I've had a fairly new student before who needed quite a lot of guidance from a senior stylist but I was fine with it. She did a good job and the stylist was great at teaching.

The cut was finished in less than 30 minutes. As soon as he started drying my hair, he began pushing all sorts of products on me. The cut wasn't very good. It was rather slapdash, and he finished it off looking quite frizzy. Then, when it came to paying, he was standing nearby but immediately went off somewhere, so I didn't even get a 'thank you'. As he was the 'master', I paid $120, but I definitely don't want to go back there again. Also, as someone else did my shampoo, I was asked to tip her as well. So I ended up paying double in tips.
