I have been a client for 2 decades now. At the age of 13 I developed a severe allergic reaction to hair dye and she has taken every single precaution while dying my hair since then, painstakingly avoiding the contact of dye to any part of my scalp. If after a day or two I don't like a colour or cut, she goes out of her way to make time to have me back so we can work together to fix the issue! Her prices are extremely reasonable, while still being competitive. She opened her own salon after many years partnering up with other stylists. I swear you won't be disappointed! I had never been before but the pictures of their work online looked nice enough and honestly I just wanted somewhere close to home to get it done. I was never told how to have my hair ready pre appointment in order for things to move quicker.....I had to call the salon and ask myself if I needed to arrive with wet hair or hair that had been washed. Receptionist was rude and just said well we are not going to blow dry it, you just paying for a style - which cost me $80 to begin with, then $100 at the end with tax and tip. The put me with a stylist which they labelled an"intermediate" and they charge according to this. I honestly didn't feel like she knew what she was doing so didn't feel confident at all from the get go. She barely put any product in my hair to keep if from frizzing up or holding the curl. I even asked for extra hairspray at the end to keep everything in place. At the end of the hour, my very basic half up hairstyle cost me $100 and by the time I left the salon and went to the event my hair lost all curl and was a frizzy mess! I am beyond disappointed with this place. Wouldn't recommend as their prices and work they provide are really a form of stealing!

And the hairdressers could 'dress hair' so knowing we needed a proper stylist, we chose the 'mall' First we stopped at the other salon who quoted us 45$ (the cut this summer was 20$ in a mall in brockville) so we decided to check this one first for a quote, and was happily quoted 25$ for the cut. The gent at the front was friendly and kind, inquiring to my sons name, as I explained we were getting a hefty haircut but wanted it like a photo, no problem he assured me, and went and spoke to one of the stylists who came and looked at my boy and the photo and agreed it would be possible. They did everything to make my boy comfortable, I assured them this is what he wanted, as he looked a little frightened (his hair has been long for as long as he has been alive) The entire staff was friendly towards my boy (and me) with a couple of them even stopping by while he was in the chair getting his hair cut to offer comments of support and compliments The stylist (Nina I think was her name) took her time to make sure the cut was done right and styled for my sons happiness. As a single mom of 2 and business owner she even taught herself how to do accounting for the business on the side, which shows nothing but dedication. Long and short of it from what I found is that they are amazing people that do an amazing job for an amazing price. I have no doubt that this place will fill up fast, now that salons have been allowed to reopen. (They are also SUPER safe and hygienic, everything is sanitized, everyone wears dual masks)
