Extremely Frustrating and Unprofessional Experience…read more I started a commercial policy with Karen's office this year, and unfortunately, it's been a terrible experience from the very beginning. I was on a payment plan, but when the policy renewed after six months, I received a bill for the full next six months. Thinking it was a mistake, I called the office and was told not to worry -- they said they would take care of it. They didn't. The policy ended up getting canceled, yet they still took the first payment for the new term. Then I received a notice from the DMV about a lapse in coverage for June. I called again and was told once more that they'd handle it. Two weeks later, I got another letter from the DMV -- this time stating that my plates had been revoked. When I called again, the story changed completely. Now they claimed I never had a payment plan in place and started blaming me for the entire issue. The level of frustration and incompetence I've experienced with this office is unbelievable. Because of their mistakes, I now have to pay a $50 fee, another $60 for a DMV hearing, and I'm still driving with canceled plates -- all due to their complete lack of professionalism and accountability.

I…read morecalled this morning and they told me they would not be able to assist me even though according to their website they should have been able to. I called with a bright chipper hello after reading great things about the business online, but the person answering the phone (Kayla) adamantly told me they would not assist me without even providing a consultation. It was a weird experience. Here is a quote from their website, "We offer a free consultation where we listen to your tax issue with compassion in a judgment-free atmosphere. We understand life happens and that sometimes tax issues are part of the journey!" The person who answered my call would not listen to my tax issue. I told her that the website indicated they provide consultations, but she told me she did not know what I was talking about and that they would not be able to help me. Oh well, I will move on to someone else. They may not be lacking for business, but at least they could provide the basics to a potential client by listening to their issue and determining if they could assist. Wow, my experience with this business was unnecessarily unpleasant. Oh well. I just thought everyone else should know just in case they have a good, bad, or other experience with this business. They certainly made a bad first impression on me (I read the reviews prior to reaching out and felt they would be a good fit for me).
