We chatted while we waited and kidded with the bank teller. This bank has bankers involved that have been in the business for many decades. I do all my commercial banking with them after they helped me start my business over 20 years ago and do this day I always have good experience. They have several good locations and are local. And unlike other banks do not seem ripe for a merger. The bankers here were in mergers and separated from all of that and take good care of their customers. And inside this bank you go to a desk instead of the teller for many of your transactions. That is a nice option and feels much more like a hometown bank which it is.

Besides the initial greeting, the branch is kinda stale. There is an odd "old building" smell and the lobby is uncomfortably quiet. The few tellers they do have, don't really have much personality. Kinda give you a half smile and ask how they can assist. With that being said, they are pretty fast and efficient. At the end of the day, Truist gets the job done but not much else.
