I came through here today to get a haircut. Nice and cool inside...the tinted windows and dark colors provide a nice laid back vibe. The chairs are super comfy, and even though it was probably the longest haircut I've ever gotten (probably because of the barber's attention to detail), I wasn't bored since the place is adorned with several TV screens. My barber was Manny. Very cool guy, and he was even willing to go back and try to fix my unruly hair after he was already done with the haircut. I walked in and it looked like a good barber shop, sat down with two people ahead. One went up for his cut, and I was impressed at how fast they took care of the walk in customers. I was a walk in myself so I did expect a little bit of a wait. 20 minutes go by, and still in the same exact spot I was in. First time going to this barber shop, both barbers are great guys. These guys do fades, taper cuts, and can do long styles like pompadours and side parts. I'm not an expert with hair cuts, that's why I will start going here from now on, because they ARE the experts. These guys are the real deal. I've been getting cuts from them before they even started their own shop, followed them here and no better feeling than knowing that you can trust the barbers in the shop, and not just one of them. The cuts are always great, they've done an amazing job making the place professional and very comfortable at the same time. Seeing the evolution from when they first opened up and how much work they've put into it, you can tell how much they care about their home. At the end of the day, the cut has to be good, and here they're not only good they really listen to what you want and do their best to honor that. Recently I had a botched job down in Hollywood and I rushed up here and they fixed it up right away, no questions asked and tried to not charge me (of course I left them some money) but that right there is great customer service, and talent. read more

I've had two great haircuts here in the past, for a great price. Usually the barber talks about what we want to do, checks in and I leave happy. This last one I had today was among one of the worst I've had in a while. When I sat down the barber asked what I wanted, told him I wanted to trim the sides and maybe take an inch off the top. Then he went into the bathroom for about ten minutes, left the bathroom door open (I'm guessing he went somewhere else) because when he came back he randomly brought up drinking and ways to kick the habit, it was weird but I figured we could talk about it, but by the time he turns me around i he's cut off all but an inch of my hair. I remember saying to him a few times "I want maybe an inch off the top." But he seemed to have forgotten during his trip to the restroom. Then when he spun me back around to be able to see a mirror I said "I think we took a little to much off the top." And he said "oh I'm sorry. But why would you want to look like a mad scientist." Not that it's really any of his business how I want my hair, I asked what I asked for, if he didn't want to do that or couldn't he could have told me before hand, so I could go elsewhere. I used to send people to this place but after this I'm not ever going back myself. I have had good cuts there, but I think any barber should be able to listen and not make those decisions for you. read more

so i was referred to this barber shop by a friend, and was told to ask for Drewski. so i go into the shop and i ask for andrew lol. andrew greets me and takes me to his station and has me take a seat in his fancy ass barber chair. very comfy btw anyways, he asks me what i wanted , and i said i usually get a taper, but this time ill have a high fade since my hair is really tough to cut. OHH DAMN this ASIAN HAIR!!!, he said, no problem bro. we got the same hair no worries. i was hesitant to let him but i said whatever, its only 15 bucks. so he starts cutting, hes all hauling ass im all scared, asks me if i wana get lined up? i say yes, im flipping out cause hes doing all this soo fast. i knew for a fact that my new dew was going to be crap. so he starts shaving me with a straight razor. scared for my skin at the moment. but it was all good. he even hooked up my goatee for an extra 3 dollar. . so im all done up baby powder and all. i look in the mirror to check out my cut assuming its bad. but jesus christ it was amazing. no one ever hooks me up like this!. razor on the line up and my beard and no nics or scratches. straight and even line up and everything. and to top it off it was reall fast. i was scared at first since it was my first cut with him. but honestly i trust him with my hair anyway, if you have asian hair thats hard to cut male or female i recommend drewski at first class barber shop. it was 18 dollars for my hair and beard but honestly it was more like a 20 dollar cut with a 5 dollar tip. very cool dude, and hes neat , no hair on my shirt collar or anything. he gots tricks to keep hair off your collar lol read more
