The space looks very clean, elegant, and well designed, which immediately gives the place a premium feel. One detail I really appreciated was that they washed my hair both before and after the haircut. The extra level of care made the whole experience fell much more complete and professional. The barber, Hayk, paid attention to the details and made sure everything looked sharp before I left the chair. The customer service was excellent. Showed the barber a picture of what I wanted and told him that I wanted "layers." I showed him that I wanted it short in the front and progressively longer until it blended in to the back. Not only did he not give me any layers whatsoever, but he just gave me a generic comb back style. I tried to style it to make it look like the photo I wanted to resemble but to no avail. The photos I showed both had men with hairstyles that were about 2-4 inches on the top and short on the sides. I got the short sides but the top is a mess now. I've come to this barber shop for the past couple of years when I needed to. When I've asked for a "Michael Corleone" cut, they know exactly what I want. I just think that it's redundant to ask for anything other than a fade, taper, or slick back haircut at this point. It's not the first time I've come out of this shop with a hairstyle that wasn't what I wanted. There's also a language barrier since my Spanish is broken and my barber didn't speak English that well. That's nobody's fault but I think if I could communicate better, or had some help from any of the other barbers, I would've had a better experience. If you like tapers and fades or like to lineup your beard, I'd definitely recommend this place. That type of work seems like their speciality, it's just not for me. I need a hair stylist who knows how to style hair past their comfort level and who won't resort to doing what they're used to.

This is the only place I can rely on to get a good haircut and fade. I've tried places that charge…read moremore or less than here but I've never left feeling like I got my money's worth. Some places even left my fade all messed up and uneven which I then had to go fix myself with a razor. But I can say that for the past 4-5 years I've been a happy customer here and would never think of trying anywhere else. I've tried multiple barbers at this location and never had a problem. I suggest coming in before you want a haircut to scope out the barbers and their work so you can ask for their business card or number to book an appointment though ahead of time. Most of the barbers have regulars and book in advance so if you walk in, chances are you won't be getting a haircut soon unless they have an opening so don't be a douche expecting them to bend backwards for you when they already have a full schedule. If you have patience though someone will help you when they can. All barbers here are courteous though and strive to make sure their customers leave satisfied with their haircut. I do have a favorite barber which I highly recommend to anyone wanting to try this place for the first time. Her name is Gladys and as I said earlier, make sure to come in before you want a cut so you can ask for her business card and book an appointment as she is generally always working a busy schedule. She's really great and I always leave beyond satisfied with my haircut. One thing that I should say for those people like myself who normally never carry cash, this place is CASH ONLY. They have an ATM in the shop but if you don't want to be charged extra fees by your bank and the ATM, go to your own bank and withdraw the money. It's a little inconvenient but not a deal breaker for me because as I've mentioned, I really don't like any other place for a haircut. I've tried a number of other places that specialize in fades or have good reviews but the quality of the haircut and fade just isn't all there. As I was about to end this review, I actually got complimented on my haircut by someone in the elevator . Anyways to sum up, this place is great and I love Gladys as my regular barber. Cash only and remember to make an appointment so you don't get stuck waiting a while.

I made an appointment & already was help right away. I wasnt picky on choosing a baber so Betty was available at the time. Let me tell you she did an amazing job cutting my son hair with a line up. My son 7 yrs old is very picky on who cuts his hair , he did have bad experiences before. He told me that he loves how she cuts hair and digs the hair style. My son found a new barber. This just looks like it went from thick to thin with no transition... and kind of uneven. The cut was $40 which is pretty basic around the area (usually pay about $35) but this cut and experience was not worth the price they charge.
