First class cleaning is a great cleaning service. To make an appointment is simple and the entire process very streamlined. I appreciated the throughout follow up with me personally to ensure I was happy with the service. My feedback was that I was given an expected arrival time and the cleaning pro arrived over an hour later the expected time. This would have been no problem, however, my travel arrangements relied on my timeliness and being this late was not impressive for my first time using 1st Class. When I called for status updates, they were professional and assured me she was on her way repeatedly. The services themselves were good. But I was so wrong. Listen to the bad reviews people. You don't know me but know that I would never spend my time writing such a long review unless it's bad. and yes, it is THAT bad. They told me not to write a bad review after they refunded me BUT for the amount of times they messed up, people deserve to see what kind of company they are. And also, I LOST money so their "refund" doesn't even make up for my lost--even with the refund, I still lost money. Short version? I gave them multiple chances, they screw up (AND SCREW UP BAD) every time. If you want to babysit the cleaning, then use them. They only do a good job when you're on top of them making them send you pictures to confirm that yes, they are indeed doing what they are suppose to do. Long version? I have multiply rental properties in Indio and La Quinta and use another cleaning company but wanted to give first class a try since they have such amaaaazing reviews (right guys?) I made an appointment to do a consultation. I told them I love attention to detail, staging, and small details like checking to make sure dishes are organized in the right cabinets, etc. They said they could deliver. They have supervisors who do quality check. They train their cleaners. They totally relate because they like things clean well too. They sold me. Ok. I decided to test it out on ONE HOME and yet they still couldn't handle that. First clean: Online scheduling is awesome right? So convenient. I booked for a date to clean at 8am to finish at 12pm because an investor and his family would be enjoying the home. They walk in at 2-3pm and said it looked like cleaners had just arrived and one cleaner (he actually thinks it was the daughter) was eating cereal watching TV (?!?!!). Cleaners said they will be done at 6-7pm. WHY? I scheduled for them to be done before noon! I call first class, they said "oh that is a cleaner taking her break and no they have been there and should be done by 4". First of all, why would the cleaners need to take a break when they clean for less than 5 hours? And why was it not cleaned when I scheduled it. By the way, they blamed the "supervisor" for that. Ok whatever, things happen right? Let's give them another chance. I schedule a meeting to do a walk through so they could take notes and pictures of how I want the home done/cleaned. The next couple cleans were better because they actually sent the girl I met out to oversee the cleaners . Then, another clean without the girl babysitting: back to before. Subpar. They said they had supervisors who go around making sure all the houses are done right? YEAH RIGHT. One clean I was actually there doing some things and the cleaners showed up 30 minutes late and guests were checking in at 4pm. At 3:30, I realized they hadn't even cleaned the backyard and I ended up having to run around and DO THEIR JOBS to make sure it will be done. Last straw: I schedule 11am-4pm cleaning--same day check in. Because I didn't trust them, I texted at 1pm to confirm everything was going ok. They text back about 10 minutes later to inform me that the cleaners didn't show up and if I had another company then to use them instead. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! it's Sunday at 1pm. They said the best they could do is send someone there at 4pm. "We can't control our cleaners, we can't make them work, if they don't show up we can't do anything." WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING A SUPERVISOR if I'm the one that's SUPERVISING MY OWN PROPERTY. if I hadn't texted them to check in, my guests would've came into a dirty house. Guest checked in right on time and I had to ask them to hang out at the pool while the cleaners worked. I had to COMP $225 for pool and spa heating AND REFUND THEM A WHOLE NIGHT STAY. They said they could offer $1000 for future cleaning. HELL NO. I don't ever want to use this company ever again. I ask for $500 to make up the money we lost when THEY DROPPED THE BALL. SERIOUSLY PEOPLE. I NEVER EVER CARE TO WRITE REVIEWS no matter how bad. But I needed to warn you all before you make the biggest mistake booking with this "First Class" company. If you've stuck with me this far, moral of the story: DO NOT USE FIRST CLASS CLEANING. Don't get conned by their good reviews. They can't handle more properties. I used them twice and will not use them again. The first time the cleaner was 2 1/2 hours later than scheduled. The office knew she would be but didn't bother to let me know. She did a good job this time, but it was about twice the cost of what I was used to paying. The second time was supposed to be a deep cleaning... and it wasn't. I reached out to First Class through a recommendation and I have been very happy since! They are always on time, honest, loyal, work with you and try to make you happy. They send pictures of their cleanings and it makes me feel more relaxed as managing an Airbnb far away tends to be hard. They have notified me when things were wrong and it helped with replacing the items and charging the guests. They help you pick if you want 1 maid or 2 and let you know the price ahead of time. First time I used service they charged the time cleaner was there cleaning. When I called, they were unapologetic and said it's policy. Quoted $35/hour on Yelp and was told to make an appointment online. My appointment confirmation also said $35/hour. I had to ask to find out they have a 3 hour minimum, which I was fine with. Expected to pay about $105 for 3 hours of cleaning. They were about 30 min late and cleaned maybe an hour. It's a small house and they did a good job, so that didn't bother me too much. But then they ended up charging my card $250. I messaged Natalie and she said they actually have a flat rate for vacation rental cleans. Which is fine but I should be made aware of that beforehand. Then I called and she said $35 per hour is correct and there were additional fees added for distance to my house and for the laundry. Which again is fine, but I need to know in advance. She ended up refunding the difference which is appreciated. TLDR: They do a good job! Just make sure the rates are agreed upon beforehand and no surprise fees. read more

Just bought a place out in Rancho Mirage and was in need of some help cleaning the house after our paint crew came through and before we actually moved in. I contacted First Class Cleaning for information and pricing and was able to set up a date and time. I love their online system ... makes it all very easy to set up or reschedule service. The day of the service, Maria and Paulina arrived on time, with their products and tools and smiles on their faces! I gave them a tour of the empty house, discussed what I was needing help with and I was pleasantly surprised that Maria was able to finish my sentences. Clearly, she had ready my request sheet and was clear on what the tasks were. I left Maria and Paulina working and took off to run errands. I came home and found my home SPARKLING clean! They had even taken the bath towels that were hanging in near the shower and washed and folded them! They even folded the bathroom toilet paper into the cute triangle you get at a hotel! The gals were done on time and asked if I would take a look and be sure that they had not forgotten any task. I looked around and everything was PERFECTION! The only one little comment that I have is that whatever product they used to clean my travertine floors was very strong in smell. I opened all my windows and doors for several hours after the service and it was still present. The smell didn't go away for at least two days. So an update from my previous review. I hadn't realized the arts and music festival in Coachella Valley was happening and just how busy these guys were. The biggest critique I can give on that is to just ask customers for a little leeway upfront when you can't meet your appointment times. Communication is always key. For full disclosure. After leaving my previous review, the owner of the company did contact me. He cleared everything up with me and offered to schedule me in for the same time later that week at a discounted rate for the trouble caused. They arrived on time (1pm) and were very thorough. They sent before and after pictures of mostly everything they were doing, and remained in contact with me throughout the whole cleaning. They did everything you'd normally expect a cleaning service to do. However I was surprised to see that they had moved beds and furniture just to get under them for vacuuming. They also cleaned out the rail of our windows too. My stepmom asked them to stay a bit longer and clean an additional room as well, something I wasn't aware she had done, but they went ahead and did that at no additional cost. They also made me aware of things that needed to be replaced or couldn't be thoroughly cleaned. We don't have access to my stepmom's personal space, she's elderly and very prideful, so having a third party communicate this to us eases the discomfort and feeling that we're violating her personal space. Overall this has been a great response to criticism. It is unfortunate that at times we may feel the need to give a bad review to get the attention of a company. But if a company is willing to make things right, go above and beyond, and try to maintain the business of a new customer, then they're doing exactly what a customer focused company should do. You pivoted this into a win, great job! :) I look forward to working with them in the future, and will make cleaning our house a regular thing! read more

We pivoted over to First Class cleaning as soon as we received negative feedback on our short term rental from guests. First Class is very detail oriented. The ladies will make sure that your place is spotless. I've had a few reviews commenting on how clean the property is which is so CRITICAL for a short term rental. No one wants to stay at a place with a dirty fridge or floors. We pretty much use them every week at one of our rentals and they are on time and do a great job. The only thing hiccup I had was that the cleaning crew did not leave out extra supplies for our guests like paper towel, trash bag. DON'T GO HERE! THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES! I used their service in 9/21 when I was selling my house in LaQuinta. In 12/2022 I look at my credit card statement and realized they charged me $120. I did some research and the charge was on another property. I called them and they said "you should've cancelled your card with us". WHAT! In other words they claimed using my card to clean another house that I had nothing to do with was somehow OK. These people should not be in business. A simple apology would have been enough. Instead they dug in and told me I need to hire an attorney to get this resolved and then hung up! There are to many good businesses in LaQuinta. This one should be out of business. The corruption, the stolen credit card information and using credit cards without authorization. Simply their way of handling issues is reason for this company to never be used.
