I'm extremely pleased with the work done by Pink Gloves Cleaning. We had a one-bedroom apartment that had been left in very poor condition by a tenant. After fumigation, the unit was filled with dead insects. The shower had significant mold due to a long-standing leak, the carpets were heavily soiled and flattened, and dust had built up on the ceilings and fans. The refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher were all filthy and infested with bugs. Cabinets contained old food, and the patio was covered in litter and debris. The space both looked and smelled terrible. Pink Gloves Cleaning did an outstanding job restoring the unit. They successfully removed the mold from the shower walls, leaving them remarkably clean, and even addressed the leak. All insects were thoroughly cleared, ceilings and fans were left dust-free, and every appliance was cleaned. People/Customers who are posting online and are bad people with ill intent should reevaluate themselves and their motives, however a small business who is a large part of their own problem should not assume that someone asking for a service they provide is a bad person. My husband and I were gone for five months from our home in Palm Desert. I wanted to come home to a dustless house. Anyone who lives in the desert knows that dust is inevitable. Especially when being gone for so long. I decided to look for cleaning companies on Yelp. I came across Pink Glove Cleaning Queens. They had great reviews. The reason I chose this company to clean our house. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got off to a great start. Cayla answered my call right away and we discussed what the situation was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I made it clear to her that the all I needed was the house dusted, the floors vacuumed and mopped and the master bedroom sheets washed, dried and put back on the bed because before we left I made sure the house was clean. For this work she quoted $160. for two people for three hours. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We made arrangements for Cayla to get into the house at the date and time she chose. A few days before the "clean" she changes the time because she has another last minute "clean" that apparently was WAY more important than my "clean".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thankfully we were able to get that worked out on our end. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As Cayla and her cleaning partner cleaned the house I was sent many photos (30) and videos (15) of their progress. I guess this is where Cayla receives great reviews for her communication. For me, I'd rather the person doing the job spend their time cleaning not sending me pictures.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm paying to have my house cleaned not paying for pictures and videos. Cayla was promptly paid for her services assuming the job was done to our liking. That was the wrong thing to do. We get home a day after the work was done. The first thing I notice when I walk in the house the floors had been walked on while they were still wet. Shoe prints everywhere. The stove top that they decided needed to be scrubbed, had residue from whatever they cleaned it with left all over it. See picture attached below. Also, whatever they used to clean the stove top left etch marks in our counter tops. Then I noticed my refrigerator. It had smear marks all over it, see the picture attached. Not sure what happened there but if this cleaning company is as good as everyone says it is, they should know how to polish stainless steel. Especially in this day and age where a lot of homes have stainless appliances. The next thing I noticed was the carpets in the two extra bedrooms had foot prints all over them as if they hadn't been vacuumed. I specifically asked that they leave the rooms without footprints. Is that too much to ask? A few days later I noticed that my nightstand hadn't been completely dusted (picture attached) so of course I went around the rest of the room and did the dust test. Lots of dust everywhere. And one might think to themselves it was a couple of days later so of course there's going to be dust. The dust was too thick and too much for just a few days after the "clean". They just didn't do a thorough job. Another thing that was done that I didn't ask for, a set of towels for one of the bathrooms had been set out on the towel bars. I don't put towels out unless I'm going to have guests. I know this may seem petty but again, all I asked to be done was to dust, vacuum, mop, wash and dry master bedroom sheets and put the bed back together. One of the last texts I received from Cayla on the day of the "clean" when she was done was.... Hi Jan, We're just finishing up now Omar just got here Everything went really well! I know today was a bit dusty since we were getting everything ready for your arrival. We did go a little over time, but that's okay for today. 30 extra minutes together :) just as a gift for you Just a quick note: the area above the stove (the top) will need to be scrubbed next time. We were a bit pressed for time, and the house was larger than expected. Just wanted to make sure that's noted for the next visit if everything works out and we move forward. All the time spent taking pictures, videos and things I didn't ask to be done that you decided on your own to do.
