He has been very well for 26 years, until a recent "syncope"/fainting event(in hospital for 3 1/2 days-he's 83). DrRamezani prescribed the initial temporary heart monitor, and a more permanent one(subcutaneous) to follow for further evaluation, before having a possible Pacemaker Surgery. DrRamezani also reviewed all the medications and determined that my husband was taking some that are no longer needed, and may be contributing to his slower arterial flow. We have confidence and trust in DrRamezani's expertise, decades of experience, and how he takes time with his patients. I requested a phone consult about my concerns (re driving, which my husband may not do yet ie risk of another syncope), and he called-which doesn't always happen in health care anymore. My mom sees Dr. Kani frequently and just recently, I had a vein procedure done here. Each time my…read moremom or I have an appointment, we never had to wait more than 15 minutes. The front desk personal are always professional and the waiting area always clean with plenty seating. Dr. Kani is very nice and patient when it comes to helping my mother with all of her heart/artery problems. The only problem I have with doctors in general, this statement is not limited to Dr. Kani only, is that when it was time for my vein procedure, he tells me that it's not going to hurt, that I would barely feel anything! Wrong!!! I'm not sure why they make this statement when they have never been through the procedure themselves. Not to mention, my tolerance for pain is different from others so why not just say, a certain percentage had pain, this percentage did not feel pain. ‍ Having said that, you better believe when it's time to have my right leg done, they will not touch me unless they give me a Valium or ???? Lol. So to end on a good note, Dr. Kani and his staff are great! If my 84 year old mother loves them, so do I!

Had some ankle swelling and because I lost my father to congestive heart failure I decided to see a…read morecardiologist. Can't even remember this quacks name but he told me that the blood pressure med called Amlodipine that I was taking caused the swelling. Then he ordered a bunch of tests. When I went back to see him a couple of weeks later I was told that he was no longer with the practice and I would be seeing another doctor. I was told that all my tests were fine and then they stuck me with over a $4,000 bill. When I called them I was told that there was nothing they could do about the bill but put me on a payment plan. If you need a cardiologist I suggest doing your research and stay away from this crooked place. And to make matters worse, I was told by staff there that that Dr was notorious for ordering a bunch of tests for patients that were not necessary. All about the $$$$. I told them to cancel my follow up appointment that they set up and will not ever even consider this place again. By the way, it was the medicine that caused the swelling so I believe we should have started there and see how I did in a week or so, not order a bunch of tests that I did not need.
