You need to get off the highway to reach it if you live anywhere besides Arnold proper. And you have to get into Walmart Supercenters lot to get to this place, and turn to get into a small area set at the back between the street for Schnucks and Walmart's lot. It's in it's own little lot within the big lot. Completely not customer friendly at all. They have limited hours on specific days. Right now there is still one drive up ATM that isn't far from the Hwy in their old location, but other than that one, I have no clue where another drive up ATM is located. There is one in Arnold Walmart, but you have to park, walk in and then use it in store. What a waste of time. I've been w/this bank for 45 years since I moved to Barnhart(and they were originally located here before a big flood), then moved to Arnold; now their office is a hole in the wall, inconvenient as h*l, and no easy to use DRIVE THRU ATM. If it wasn't such a PITA to change banks, I would've changed when they made this move. People are friendly enough; bank doesn't care about the comfortable use for it's customers, however.

I have been a loyal customer for over ten years, and continue to be let down and disappointed by the lack of caring/consideration shown to me by Regions employees, particularly at the local level. Any issue or assistance that I have required from anybody with Regions here locally (dist. mgr. etc), I have been met with no caring, compassion, empathy, or concern whatsoever. Today, in reference to a hardship Ive encountered due to a simple/honest mistake (that I was able to rectify immediately upon noticing, I was told that the bank would not be able to help me recoup any part of hundreds of dollars of fees because "it's not our fault sir". This apparently told to a local branch mgr by his area supervisor. My experience with Regions will always be remembered as "corporate greed from the top down", and no observance of the human element in its communities. I doubt that anyone on that end cares (because Im just a # right?), but I'll be closing my account with Regions after over ten years, and headed over to the local credit union, where people are still "people", and they value the customers that support them, by supporting them in return.

Even if the error takes days to fix, such as the time the ATM ate my money... I had to dispute it and it took days. It's okay, I only had shop rent due. I have had the weirdest, freak problems with my account, and it always seems like no one quite knows how to fix the issue RIGHT NOW. One example- I had a class reunion bbq I was planning. Everyone prepaid. I took all their money and put it into a visa giftcard/bank card so I could keep it all together. The card said 'debit' on it, which was a relief when I was planning a trip to Sam's club to get the supplies, as they only accept debit. I called the hotline to request a PIN and had to make several calls since the website the girl was referring to in order to get the pin wasn't working... Finally I called this branch and was informed that although the card they sold me (yeah, it was $5!) SAID debit on it, it wasn't a debit card and I would have to pay a substantial amount to take the money off the card and turn it back into cash. It would also take 2 weeks. This was 2 days before the reunion. It was a total mess. My husband ended up giving me the cash and taking the card so he could just use it at the gas pumps. Some of the craziest stuff, I tell ya! Then there are the funny fees. My personal banking would cost $7 a month if I hadn't agreed to NOT write checks or use the tellers. Which is fine, usually, but not so fine when they ATM that I have to use eats my money or is in some other way malfunctioning. Then there's my business bank account that I am only allowed to do a certain amount of transactions on... (8 per month, I think...) Each deposit is a transaction, each check deposit is a transaction, a transfer, a check written... each credit card payment someone makes at my shop... sigh... and if you do too many transactions, they charge you a few per transaction. (Was it $.50 or a dollar, I cant remember) How many businesses do you know that make less than 8 monetary transactions a month? Now, I have a whole other account just to funnel my money through and make deposits all at once. It's like I'm constantly playing Tetris with my money. Good thing I am anal. I know the issues I am describing aren't really branch issues, per say, but broken ATM's and staff that can't seem to fix stuff might be. Honestly, if this location was not so darn convenient, and my husband and I didn't have multiple accounts with them, I probably would switch banks, but then again, I have been with Commerce for a few years, God knows what kind of mess another bank would be. :(

I am still banking with them because it is close to my home. BUT, they do not cater to businesses like they make you believe. Commerce will only let me pay two of them with auto pay..the other two - i have to wait for the bill and then pay online. This rents space in my brain - i dont have time for this!
