She refused to put me on a payment plan because she determined that the cost I suggested was too low of a payment and that I was being ridiculous. This woman does not know my situation. Bottom of the barrel debt collectors. This company has over 90 complaints filed on them with the BBB for mostly the same thing: you get one letter and then whatever bill might be owed in dispute is sent to your credit report, period. They get paid on the cases they close and have no interest in doing any legal collections. I found out about mine when Credit Karma flagged me, AFTER I'd called them 3 times asking for proof of debt which they never provided. I pay this hospital's bills and they're notorious for misapplying my payments and I wanted to see the invoice before I coughed up the whopping 58 bucks... The phone number I have for them is worthless; it goes to an agent who never returns calls. Because of this shadyness, I filed a complaint with the BBB as well as the FTC/CFPB for this suspect behavior, and I suggest you do the same. The response they gave to both was garbage: I have to submit a request for proof of debt in writing (WRONG: you have to notify them, period). And they also claim that they called me numerous times and are legally not allowed to leave voicemails (WRONG: they are not allowed to leave explicit voicemails that say this is in regard to a debt collection). I've also had no mystery calls on my phone in the last 3 months that haven't left a message so that was another lie on their part. I"m refiling my complaint with the FTC for their business practices as well as alerting UH Finance Department Managers on the actions (and lack thereof) on their part so that they're fully aware of the shady firm they've retained. read more

I found out a huge amount was on my husband credit report , I reached out to them. I got a call back immedialtly by molly ffcc rep. and she was really professional and nice. My husband felt he needed a copy of the invoice to pay the bill. I then called back and she said they dont have copies of the invoice . They can retreive it. So my husband refused to pay. She was very nice and said she can get one emailed to her. I think ill wait on paying till i get the full information on his case. wrote the review so you wont feel everyone is nasty and rude. FFCC has the most unprofessional group of people that I ever spoke with on the phone in my life, made me feel less than a human since no one seems to want to take responsible for anything or listen. I could drop names here, however, that would not be professional of me, but it appears that people that work at the FFCC get joy out of being the rudest they can be on the phone and I understand it is easy to say disrespectful things over the phone because you are not sitting face to face from another person and you hang the phone because you do not have time for questions. First person at FFCC told me that I need to submit the report myself and Second person at FFCC told me not because it will mess up your process. I paid my "debt" that owed months ago and still have not gotten it removed my credit reports yet and when I am investigating on why this did not happen. I get, in layman's terms, not our responsibility, I believe that if FFCC reported to the Credit Bureaus to add the collection to the reports, then they should be a process to report to the Credit Bureaus to remove the collection from the reports. Overall, I will take action against FFCC and will be filing complaints with whomever I can until a change occurs. read more

I was billed by this company for a bill that I was unaware of. When I called to get information about this bill I could not get a hold of anyone. Weeks later I receive a phone call saying I owe this money but they won't disclose why. I sent emails and calls back to try to. The answer I got from the representative Grace Patrick was very unprofessional screaming at me that she can't tell me what the bill is for just I owe it. She then proceeded to talk over me and even yelled that she doesn't care what happens she is reporting a refusal of payment and good luck with your credit after hanging up. I just wished I knew what I was getting billed for but got no disclosure after going through every protocol asked. The representative was unprofessional and the most disrespectful phone representative I've ever talked to. No wonder they keep attempting to make new Yelp pages because the reviews on the last one received the same feedback... read more

YELP needs to add a ZERO star option. Similar as others - they slammed a collection action on my credit report. My first knowledge was the notice from my credit monitoring service. I called and spoke to Lynn Taylor. Claimed she didn't have the info about the debt collector and referred me to my health Insurance carrier. I learned that they were sending notices to a non-existent address in Kendall - South Miami (I'm in North Ft Lauderdale). I checked the address and the mail could not have been deliverable yet she claims they never got anything in return. Serious violation of the FCRA. Refused to change the status even after confirming that they were service the wrong address. Worse yet - I spoke to the Drs office who realized the agency was using the wrong address and immediately promised to rectify the issue and send me a bill to the correct address for payment. I just paid the bill with the Drs office - by the way the bill was a whopping 58.00. Later in the day the Drs office confirmed that they discussed it with First Federal and notified that the bill was satisfied and that the collection action should be removed as an ERROR. The next morning - my credit monitoring stated a new notice was pushed through and the matter was reported as UNPAID. What JERKS. I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and about to file another complaint with the BBB. HORRIBLE TACTICS. They are messing up people's credit irrespective of their illegal actions. No one should give this company any business - for they can be held liable for their illegitimate collection tactics as well as their authorized agent. read more

I dealt with Natalia over the phone. She is a rude bully. She demanded payment for something I have already paid. I offered to send copies of the cashed checks and she said she didn't want them. I asked for copies of the statements that had the date of service, procedure and itemized bill for me to review and go over with her in case there was an error on my end. She refused to send the information and would give me nothing more than date of service. When I refused to pay without the information she hung up on. Not sure how they collect any money. Not sure why me asking for the statements was a problem or why my proof of payment was not accepted. Natalia was not looking for facts and not looking to understand or resolve anything. Natalia is rude, unhelpful and only interested in furthering her superiority complex. Her behavior is unacceptable and not to be tolerated. If First Federal Credit Control approves of or encourages these practices then I don't see how anyone can use them. Luckily now that I know there's a problem (since the hospital never contacted me) I was able to get ahold of a competent and professional employee in hospital billing and believe that the manner will actually get resolved. I saw my credit report showing 6 small amount over due or unpaid bills from 2012! They were small. I paid all. Today all 6 of those checks were returned with a hand-written note (unsigned) saying "all accounts are paid". That note was written on a small sticky note. If they had already been paid, then WHY were they still on my credit report???? read more

If I could give them no stars I would. So just found out after owing $135.00 and paying $10.00/mth to this company they reported this amount on my credit report. I have NEVER had this happen as long as I have been paying bills. My credit score went from 750 to 675 because of these ppl. My deceased wife received a collection notice from this company. I thought I would be courteous and advise them she had passed away and had no estate. I spoke to a fellow by the name of Rob who was course: abusive; and disrespectful. I know he has a job to do but it sounded like he had quite a bit of growing up to do as well. My Review of this debt collection company is negative 1000! I set up payment arrangements to pay a dental bill(my son had his wisdom teeth removed in dec.2016 & my health ins wouldn't pay) & after paying an initial amount , was assured by a Rob Phillips that my son's credit would NOT be affected at all. My next payment was due on 12/14/18 & in between Nov & Dec my husband & I had to cancel our existing account due to fraud & reopen another account. This company never contacted me to tell me they were unable to withdraw the $100, just immediately sent notice to the credit bureau & my son's credit score dropped 60pts! I contacted Rob Phillips on Jan.3rd, when I realized the money had not been taken out, apologized for the error & paid $100 over the phone to cover the Dec.14th payment, AGAIN he assured me that my son's credit would NOT be affected. My son notified me on Jan.5th that his credit was damaged. I have been calling & calling, leaving messages for Rob Phillips & he has yet to call me back. I am very concerned because the next scheduled payment was for Jan. 11th & NOTHING has been taken out of my account yet. He has my current bank information! Is this company a scam ??? I have filed a complaint with the BBB today-I even left Rob Phillips a vmail message telling him that if he did not call me back within an hour that I would file the complaint. STILL no call back! Rudest people I have ever dealt with in my life. They had the amount owed incorrect so I had to have the office call them to correct it, the lady said I had made a promise to pay them in January, which I hadn't because I had been sent to voicemail and then put on hold for 30 minutes instead of being helped - so I never spoke to anyone to make arrangements. They also had the wrong address even though this was updated with the doctor's office last year. I am the one calling to take care of a debt, something I thought I had paid last year and since I wasn't receiving notices because they had the wrong address, I was unaware it was due until I called to make a doctor's appointment. No need to be rude to me - I'm calling to pay the debt. You're not chasing me, I'm not being rude to you but don't tell me it's MY fault I didn't speak to someone when I called two weeks ago. Unreal.
