Banks need reviews, too!…read more The BB&T in downtown Jax is chic and modern. Overall, the employees were very friendly in assisting me with my needs. I had to make a few deposits the other morning, and the tellers were quick and efficient, even though it took a while for me to make it up to the counter. The main issue? Parking is a disaster! We all know Downtown Jax is in dire need of a facelift, but I had to circle the surrounding blocks for 15 minutes in order to find a spot in near proximity. BB&T has a tiny lot with only a select amount of spots. On a regular weekday, there's no chance you'll find a spot. Next time, I'll probably drive the extra miles out of the way to visit a freestanding BB&T, just for the sheer convenience. Plus, the crowds are generally less sketchy than Downtown.

ID as proof for all addresses submitted during TIAA Bank online application(OA), OA lets you supply different addresses, residential and mailing but doesn't warn you about proof submission, till you get an email from the bank, then the back & forth starts with the type of address proof bank wants .- TIAA Bank sends welcoming letter via email as an attachment through a CISCO encrypted email system, you've got to download attachment(html file) on your computer and sign up to CISCO secure email system with a new username and password just to read stupid one page pdf letter, it couldn't be more shady, it practically looks like your bank is sending you malware or like it's a phishing campaign .- TIAA Bank finally opened account, sent debit card and all, then closed account cause fraud allegations, couldn't even fund it, assumed they thought I was a fraudster when I trying to open damn bank account at least three times using private mailing address instead of residential one .- Finally understood that Federal Dictatorship controls banks and the latter control my money, nowadays you can't even sneeze cause banks close your account and no explanation are given. These two people are assets to Regions and were a great help when I was dealing with a colossal headache of a situation. It took nearly a week and hours of busy work on their part, during which they never complained, they showed compassion, and kindness. Throughout the process, I may have been slightly less than easy to deal with. Both Jonathan and his assistant were professional, courteous, kind, responsive, apologetic, and knowledgeable. They solved my issue, got me my funds back, and were the only bright spot in an otherwise dark situation. Thank you, for helping to solve my "back office" issue.

HORRIBLE. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My elderly mother…read moregranted me Power of Attorney so I could manage her affairs while she is hospitalized, and instead of help, I've faced constant obstruction. It has been over six weeks of delays and contradictions. I submitted three POAs; they finally accepted the last one, yet still refuse to grant me access to her online account--despite the POA clearly authorizing full access to all financial accounts. I live out of state, so without online access I cannot make payments or arrange assisted living or care for my mother. Every time I call, I follow their instructions exactly, only to be told afterward that I was given incorrect information. No one seems to know the correct process, and there is no legal or logical explanation for denying access to my mother's own account. If she--or I--could physically go into a branch, we would. The lack of communication and accountability is deplorable. The way this company treats elderly customers and their families is unethical and potentially illegal.

I am a good example when I decided to move from Progressive full cover insurance, to National from Allstate, because since I am financing, they did not accept the fact that I put my RV in storage, to save some money and because you do not use an RV for daily use, since is 10 cylinders, but their people and their managers are so stupid, that they do not even know how to use common sense, to make decisions,because their noses are so center in the company rules, that they can not see reason, even if they know I am right and they do not recognize, that the state laws of DMV are above their stupid rules. They do not care that while is park at my premises the home insurance will cover any damage and so is the gap insurance they forced me to have. Like I said, they just care about themselves and not a Senior and or a Disable Veteran. For 4 months they harrass both of us by phone, Email, letters and they did not wave the $180 plus late fees. they claim 2 fees and that they wave one, when it was not true. They do not even know the definition by the insurance world of lapse of insurance, when my vehicle always had insurance, but on storage you do not need Comprehensive or Collision, since you are not going to collide or injure anyone, while is park, but they are so smart, that do not comprehend any of that and not even their supposed insurance representative. even with our good paying history, since I started financing. I'm surprised by some of the negative statements as all my family and many friends use NFCU and wouldn't dare go elsewhere. Always great. I've been hacked twice and NFCU was quick to stop the stupidity, take control and issue me new cards, get my funds restored VERY fast, and get us back to normal. During shutdowns, we are always covered. Find another bank that does all that.....and does it well. :) Always NCFU here. -Eric

I switched to this CU from All In. I was hoping for better service, but this place may be worse…read morethan All In. I was trying to make an online purchases, they sent/text me a verification code to verify it was me, I put the code in, and the card was declined. However, when I went to the Navy app to check my balance and transactions, they claimed the transaction went through. The transaction did NOT go through on my end or the airlines ends. When I called to dispute the $1700 transaction because it DIDN'T go through. They informed me it can take up to 120 days to get my money back. I don't have 120 days to fix YOUR screw up. I need to buy the tickets NOW. These people were NOT helpful when trying to correct their wrong doing. Back to All In I go. I highly recommend any other CU over these guys. I want to add: All In will replace any disputed funds back into your acct while they investigate. Navy refused to do that.
