He was four years old when he started, so preparation for kindergarten and socialization with other preschoolers was key. I have seen him gain so much self condidence and independence. He runs in his classroom each day eager to meet his friends. It is so cute to see. At the end of the day, he is never ready to leave. He's having so much fun. This is our last month at Shrewsbury Children's Center and I will miss the all teachers and staff. I feel my child has had a wonderful learning experience at this school and would highly recommend it for children of any age. He is ready and excited to be starting Kindergarten in the fall.

I've always felt the teachers genuinely care for the kids as individuals and they are always sent home with an individualized daily report. They also provide a weekly activity schedule so you know exactly what your child is learning and what day. My son still runs and jumps into my arms at the end of the day but now instead of crying when I leave him in the morning, he waves me goodbye and begins his day. If I could give zero stars I would…read more My son attended Strawberries Early Learning Center for just two days and in that short time I witnessed clear signs of neglect and unprofessionalism that no parent should ever experience. On the first day he was sent home in a full diaper despite me providing diaper ointments and clearly stating in the enrollment forms and verbally that he has extremely sensitive skin. By the second day he came home with a severe painful diaper rash with peeling skin. I was heartbroken. When I calmly raised my concerns to the director instead of taking accountability or even expressing concern for my child's health she retaliated and removed my son from the daycare on the spot. As I was leaving she clapped her hands at me called me crazy and threatened to call the police while I was already walking off the property with my son. Her behavior was loud degrading and completely unprofessional. A 51A report has now been filed by a Worcester police officer who was also shocked by the photos of my son's condition. I have also filed complaints with the Department of Early Education and Care and will be pursuing further action with MCAD EEOC and the BBB. And this is just my experience not everyone will have the same one but I'm posting this because no one should let all the positive reviews blind them. Every year the daycare asks parents to leave reviews on Google because that's how they boost their enrollment numbers. Do your own research ask questions and trust your gut.

Principal Linda's experience in the filed of education is equals to my age. I was a big fan of her ethics and principles. Linda and her daughters will be looking after the school so its family owned school( not a business). I am happy and impressed the way she evaluated my son and gave the suggestions for after school.She knows most of the kids name .Class rooms were bright and colorful with lot of educational toys and books. Finally i loved the tuition structure it was economical , for extended day care she charges per hour which is fantastic. There is a huge turn over rate for teachers, I know something was weird when all the great teachers left the facility and were replaced. The state that the school is a Montessori school, but I hardly ever saw anything of that matter. The school randomly decided to close for a whole week for the week of fourth of July. They gave the parents a months notice. I reached out to the director about how I was not able to get this time off. Being a single mother. She didn't care and was super rude to me. There is no structure in this facility and its sad because it use to be a great day care. Please do not send your children here.

Another annoying occurrence is that it takes weeks/if not months for something to be fixed (example the sensors in the sauna) There is a group of older gentlemen who continuously talk about the saunas/stream baths in their original country of origin. They continuously mess around with the heat sensors at the YMCA claiming the sauna here isn't "hot enough" as it is in their country of origin. They in turn mess up the sauna and put it out of commission for weeks/if not months.
