Colonial is big enough to serve most of my financial needs, but still small enough to provide personalized service. When I have a problem, the person on the other end of the line is someone who knows me and helps me quickly and efficiently. I never feel like just an account number. The bankers are all active in the community with all sorts of non-profit and social groups. And they are always willing to do their part for various fund-raisers and community programs. That speaks volumes about a banks commitment to their home town. I would hate to have to move my accounts back to one of the mega-banks.

Would give them a 0 if I could, they direct deposited over $4000 into the wrong account, in spite…read moreof having the correct account information(the information was sent to them 2 months in advance)..the manger at the Main Road Vineland Branch was to busy to take any of my phone calls, but when I drove 40 minutes and walked in she was doing absolutely nothing, and offered absolutely no help to correct their mistake, she just kept saying I will have to wait till Monday, she couldn't even guarantee that the same thing would not happen to the next deposit, she seemed annoyed that I interrupted her countdown to the end of her shift, and the only thing she was confused about was why PNC could not just give me the money- not the fact that they made a huge mistake that will cost me overdraft fees- IF this type of person is who they allow to become a manager of their bank I would not do business with them ever.. this is who my employer uses to funnel summer savings accounts though, I will do summer savings myself cause this bank is trash.. This women honestly could not be bothered with the fact they sent over 4000$ to an account that was closed due to fraudulant activity..Take your business elsewhere PNC was more helpful then this bank...

The business model for this bank is fees, fees and more fees. So many that they don't quite…read moreunderstand them all. Earlier this year we started getting charged a monthly fee. Called. They had to research it, but told us it was a fee for an optional service (that we didn't use) that they should have been charging for the whole time we had the account. Instead of asking if we wanted it, they just started charging. They reversed it once they figured it out and we told them we didn't agree to or want that service. Then a few months later we were going to pay off our mortgage a couple months early. They said there was a county fee to do so, so my wife agreed. Turns out it was an early closing fee. So just note that their business model does use fees for EVERYTHING, and they aren't the most transparent on them.

We have both verified all our information on the accounts, made multiple calls. Including one where from the start I asked to speak with a manager. I was put on hold for 5 minutes while the teller explained the situation to the manager. Who then offered an unacceptable resolution, when I stated suck and asked that I speak with the manager. Her door was shut and she "was in a meeting." Talk about making the customer experience the most negative it could be.
