Today I called for an appointment and got a confirmation message to my phone while on the way there. Then I received a call from some guy who I had never talked to saying that they would not honor the promised IV because I had been "upset and used some colorful language the last time I was there". I explained that they had ruined a brand new coat and yes, I was not happy. They scheduled the free IV, (not the very expensive one I had paid for but said the free one was just saline with nothing else) I was all the way across town when he called but they lied and wasted even more of my time. I would never go there again. I have had dozens of IV's and never had any issues anywhere else. These people are not trustworthy. UPDATE; Since posting this review I got a call from Iowa IV telling me I should be an "adult" and asking me what they can do to get me to remove the review. Telling me I am not being an adult because I speak the truth is not the answer. Being rude and condescending is not the answer. I am not the one who did a bad job. I am not the person who lied about making up for it once already. You treated me like I was trying to pull something over on you for a few dollars. Even though the girl who did it saw the blood soaked coat and arm less than an hour later. Ladies I wear jeans and t shirts but I have many millions in liquid assets. Plus, I was deterred by having to submit my own medical claims to insurance. As with anything, not all acupuncturists are on the same level regarding knowledge & experience. The extra effort needed on my part is so worth it. My friend recommended Jay and I'm so glad I gave it a try. Jay studied under a woman in San Francisco who treated breast cancer patients exclusively. For my ladies out there impacted by this disease, it is far more comforting to work with professionals who get it than not. In addition to that experience, he also studied in China. At my first appointment, one of the first questions Jay asked me was- What are you eating? YES. He requested a two week food journal for my follow up appointment, which was like music to my ears.
