This place is terrible for customer service. I asked for a acrylic removal. The female tech was rude and tried price gauging me. She said no to what I wanted. Tried to force me to get a set for $50. Horrible practices for removing acrylic nails. She took a nail tip and shoved it between my natural nail and the acrylic. I screamed in pain and all she did was laugh. I told her to please use acetone and she replied "why, you gonna be here over 30 minutes". When I asked again for the acetone she got upset and started talking to her friend over the phone about me. I stated again I wanted to remove the acrylic nails and get the tips of my natural nails squared. Then she quoted me $10. Will NOT be returning to this place. The tech should be fired. read more

I love to get my nails done and I don't mind paying well for good service. Advice: Never let a nail salon soak your nails in a bowl of acetone if you are getting powder or shellac removed. As the paint comes off at wall get on your fingers and dry and make it hard to remove. Also your fingers will feel not great afterwards. My fault I should have insisted they do the method of soaking the cotton in the acetone then wrapping it with the foil. They tried to assist with cleaning it but all was not got. I had to scrape it off my skin. One lady did my pedi and mani and then another added on the designs so I was there for a while. Not much staff to do both at the same time. I was charged 5 extra to take my powder off which when I said I'm not used to that she told me that's how all the shops do if you're going from dip to shellac or shellac to dip and not keeping the same one. Which makes no sense to me I know some shops do charge to take off and I usually don't go to the shop because I have other ones to go to but I'm not from here so. I pay cause I really want my nails done in a design they said they could do. The pedicure was ok and my toes came out good. My shellac manicure however the red was not as red as I wanted it to parts of it look pink. It looks good in general just not pleased with the service. $85 dollars. read more

Don't waste your time going to this nasty grimy ass place went on a Thursday and before Saturday, polish was lifting right off. I got the dipping powder and ask for the daughter and the mother rushed on my nails and done a poor ass job for $50, the only reason I gave them one star because I couldn't post it without it. I spend $$$$ on my natural nails faithfully every two weeks, and trust me don't go give these dusty sorry nail doing, grimiest nail shop in Lubbock I've been to a dime. First this place is unsanitary! Bugs everywhere , dead upside all over , just NASTY! My daughter got her nails done and she complained that her nail was crooked and they didn't look good . I came to the location in disbelief my daughter had choose such a horrible nasty little place first of all , but the woman was VERY rude , the husband tried to resolve the issue but the wife was not agreeing . I've always loved my nails when Lin or her mom does them but this last time I got my nails done I had a major issue with the service. I always book my appointment the week before with specific instructions that I wanted only her to do mine and my sisters nails. So when I arrive at 10:01, I find her working in another clients fullset of nails and she looks me up and down and asks what I need done. I proceed to tell her that I had an appointment with her and she tells me to sit at her mothers spot. Already furious I sit and want thinking that she would let her mom do some of the work and she would finish, I was wrong. Her mom finished my nails and then she goes to the back and eats. They had just opened an hour and a half prior to that moment so I didn't understand why she already needed a break. During that time they try to pawn my sister off on her father and my sister refuses and says she will wait because she has an appointment. Then cops an attitude when she gets back and says her dad was gonna do it. I honestly don't know why she would even make an appointment if she isn't gonna honor it. I would never suggest anyone to their business. They have no people skills and only look out for their regular clients which is disrespectful. read more

Don't go here! Worse experience EVER! My sister thought it'd be nice to get our nails done. We walk in & are seated with techs. I was getting both a pedicure & manicure shellac. They sat me down to get my pedicure done 1st. The tech was nice & friendly. During my pedicure, she talked to me in English! I should have left after She cut me 3 times though! To stop the gushing blood, she had to put blue dye to plug up the wound. It's been 4 days since the cuts & it still hurts to walk. Another red flag, was when it got to the actual painting of my toenails, she messed up my big toenails' polish. She, her son & another tech had to redo my big toes 4 times, before they figured out the top nail coat had primer in it & that's what was causing my nail polish to run & crack! If you get your nails done by their tech & it comes out incorrect, they'll blame your nails. They'll give you some BS excuse that your nail's oil made the nail Polish crater up! I had craters in my gel nails! I've gotten gel shellac for 3 yrs on my own nails & they've Never had indents! This was just an excuse. Common sense tells you it was the product/"tech!" We stayed there for 4 hrs while they tried fixing their mess ups. My little sister was getting tired & hungry. So, I told the "manager" I'd be back so they could fix THEIR mistakes. She said "Fine," with an attitude. Like it was my fault her technicians (A) Weren't capable of doing their "certified" job (B) My fault THEY cut me (C) My fault my "tech" took forever! I shouldn't have even paid, but she charged me FULL PRICE ANYWAY!! ($50 pedicure & shellac) I call that weekend & ask what time works best for them for me to come in? The gentlemen answered, with an attitude, "we don't do appts, you will be a walk in." When I get there, they're talking in their native tongue. I pick up on bits & pieces. I figured out they're pawning me off! The 2 girl techs didn't want to fix what the other 3 techs messed up on! I point at my sister's tech & say to them I want him. Then the owner examines my nails & tells me they aren't even that bad! Excuse me? Are you wearing them? Do you even know what customer service is? I know what excellent quality looks like. What they did to my nails was not what they promote! Your techs should know how to go to the end of the nail with the nail polish& Your techs should know NOT to Dip my nails in glitter, when I never asked for dip! She says she didn't realize that I was cut 3 times, kept for 4 hrs, and not given a manicure shellac (even though I asked for it.) Then she tells me, the techs don't understand English. I called bs, because my tech was talking to me in English! She then says well the other 2 don't. Again she's lying, because I heard the younger gentlemen speaking perfect English, with not much of an accent & my sister was talking with her tech!  I respond with, "Even if they don't speak English, How is that my fault? This is my 1st time here. I don't live here, I'm not a regular? I don't want to return to work Monday with atrocious nails! I shouldn't be held accountable, because your employee's Don't understand English. But manage to say yes to my requests? 2nd I'm paying full price TWICE?! Even after the nightmare of the1st experience? No! I shouldn't have to pay at all the 2nd time!" She then says they gave me a new set of nails, she'll give me a $10 discount on those, so I owe them $35!? I told her I'd give her $25 w/tip & that's me being generous! Especially, for their 1st set of repulsive nails they gave me! She told me she'll accept the $25 so it'll get me to leave her store! Then she talks about me to her client while I'm standing In Front of her Paying! She tells her client "I don't understand why she doesn't understand $10 is a discount!" Really? After everything you did to me/put me through! You don't see why I shouldn't have even paid? These are Awful people! Thieves! If I pay you for a job, I expect to receive an excellent service!They still got $90 from me! I also noticed there were no certified tech licenses hanging! STAY AWAY!!! read more

A couple girls from work had referred me here a few months ago after I had seen they got the cool iridescent/holographic looking nails I had been wanting to try. I'm not usually one to complain but unfortunately, big waste of time and money. The girl doing nails at the front was extremely rude, I should have just left then. I got a regular pedicure and then vouched for the "chrome" shellac nails. The guy reassured me that the excess around my cuticles would "wash off" after a few times. I had already been there for exactly two hours which was not for lack of waiting, and again, I hate complaining, so I just said okay. Literally the next evening the "chrome" around the tip of my nails had already started to wear off. I had went in on the only evening I had off that week so I was not able to make it back in that day or the next. I was going to go back Sunday (3 days later) but they were closed and so much had already come off. I spent $70 total. Most people still would have gone back to have it fixed or refunded, which is what I wanted and should have done, but I honestly didn't want to deal with the hassle or with anyone being rude again. After I had told the girls from work about it she literally said, "Oh yea I don't go there anymore and I had to stop telling everyone to go there because they were doing such a sh***y job." :/ read more

The MOST DISRESPECTFUL workers I've ever dealt with. I went in with a friend awhile back and the lady who did her nails was hysterical bawling her eyes out. She had to stop what she was doing to wipe her eyes every other few minuets. My friend asked for her nails to be shortened multiple times and she never shortened them because she was to busy crying. So she went back a day or two later, they remembered us and she got them trimmed well the guy doing it was watching the olympics and screwed up her nails even worst. And still made her pay 10 dollars for a trim although it was their fault they were to long to begin with. Well today I asked how much it would be for French tip with glitter and sent a picture and she told me 40. I said no I'll go elsewhere that's to expensive for French tip. She got all rude about me saying I would go elsewhere and tried telling me they had pink in the picture etc etc. and later on Lin got all smart about how there place is this and that "the best and the cheapest" but in reality.
