I came in to get a pedicure done, the person who did my pedicure did an ok job. While I got my toes done I asked if they were capable of doing lavender sprigs on my nails ( I had a photo of what I wanted) the nail guy looked at the photo and guaranteed that he could do it. I would not have gotten my nails done had they not guaranteed they could accomplish this photo. He put a couple of my nails on crooked. He cut me multiple times with the drimmel while filing my nails. Then he looked at the photo again and decided took my phone to go pick out paint colors and came back with a royal purple color and butterfly stickers telling me I can only get it done on 2 nails. When the nail person brought out the dark purple nail polish and started to apply it to the tips,I asked if the color would stay that dark. He said yes. So I said it needed to be light lavender like in the photo. He disagreed with me. I threw in the towel and said "forget it" and "just put on a clear coat" I ended up spending $90 on a mani pedi that look horrible. I didn't have time that day to go back and forth with them to beg them to do what they said they could do before we even started. I called back during business hours that evening to get a refund because I was so so disappointed in my nails that look worse than press on nails. He wanted to use all royal dark purple and butterfly stickers. And some of the nails were applied over my cuticles. They say they never receive voicemail so I called again and they say they don't do refunds but if I come back then I can get them fixed for free. I told them I'd have to think if I could trust them to fix it and they said to just come in and they would have someone else fix it. I had a graduation, a few family birthdays, and Mother's Day so I couldn't go until today. I call to set up that appointment and they say all they can do is give me a discount. But they will not be getting any more money from me. read more

I recently moved to Lubbock,tx and have been looking for a new nail salon . I looked up this place on google & it definitely lived up to the other reviews When I walked in I was immediately impressed. The place is decorated wth chandelier & warm colors .it's quite & there is soothing music playing. I asked if they took walk-ins & they lady said yes but it's not normal for a sat walk-in . However, I was helped right away & asked if I wanted water or tea to drink . I got the ped & shellac manicure. The foot & hand massage was nice too. For both the manicure & pedicure very nice ... I'm honestly so disappointed and annoyed. To start i was the only customer in there so there's no excuse to be in a rush. My feet feel and look like nothing was done other than the nail polish. My nails are messed up because he said i was okay to go and they weren't dry so the polish is ruined. A waste of $60 for something i never get to treat myself to. Then, two customers walked in and mentioned they had appointments. Afterwards, I was asked to leave since they had forgotten about the two appointments that walked in. I went here because the reviews looked good. I got a pedicure and a new set of acrylic nails. My daughter got a pedicure & a manicure. My daughter had the worst experience. The guy that did her pedicure kept trying to tickle her feet, asking if she was ticklish. IT. WAS. CREEPY. Then when she wanted the same color nail polish for her manicure, he INSISTED that she HAD to have a gel color, telling him numerous times she didn't want gel, he pushed & pushed, and she caved. It didn't match her toes like she wanted, and took it all off at home to paint it herself to match her toes. My nails were thick & several were crooked. Me and my Bestie wanted to try a new place. The inside looked very professional and clean. We asked for dip nails and they had very limited choice. They rushed trying to get old color off it ended up taking 30 minutes. Bot of us felt like the people doing our nails were very inexperienced doing dip. Both of our nails were filed uneven, there are clumps of dip on our nails, the sides of nails have no color, and they put soooo many layers of dip on a few fingers and a few layers on others so it looks like I have different colors. So frustrating to pay $40 for something that looks like my toddler did. read more

I had an awful experience here. I'm a black woman and the man who did my nails spent the whole hour reminding me of it. Told me he used to do all the "colored girls" nails when he worked at Diva nails and they loved him. Also told me about how great he thinks Trump is and how he will be voting for him. Definitely not the experience I ever expected to have in a nail salon. Literally every other sentence was "I do another black girl nails too." Black girl this. Black girl that. Or "Trump is great. This place is HORRIBLE. They have 3 employees who are all rude and they do not engage at all when you are getting your nails done. My nail tech was on FaceTime the whole time I was getting my nails done. My nails discolored 24 hours after I got them done and when I called to see if I could get them fixed the man said that it was my fault and that he didn't mess up on anyone. KElly and Devon took care of me and my daughter . We had manis and pedis . We went to another salon last time I came to visit my daughter at college - they were pushy and rude . Service was prompt and friendly. We were greeted right as we walked in. The inside is beautiful and well kept. They were very clean. They offer a personal tool system for returning/loyal customers where you get a brand new equipment that will only be used on and for you for a very minimal fee. They have courtesy drinks of water, soda, wine, and margarita. Although, my mother and I were only offered water or soda. They don't have a drying station but there is a cute bar sitting area. Called ahead to make a reservation. They didn't get to us until 30min after the reservation time and we told them we had to leave at a certain time. Then the proceeded to me I could not sit next to my sister because of the machines. Not even 5 minutes later they sat a lady right next to my sister to get her nails done and I had to sit across the room. The nails turned out fine but throughout getting them done the nail technician continued cut my skin and then they felt like they were burning when she put on some "nail primer". I don't get my nails done very often, but I was getting them done for a special occasion. I wanted white tip acrylic done. This is not what they gave. They always talk really low so you have a hard time understanding them. The guy who actually did my nails was careless and just trying to get them done as fast as possible. When I asked for something different or to go shorter, he would get upset and start talking about me in a different language to all his other coworkers. When it came time to pay they charged me for more expensive than what I thought I was going in for based on their prices listed on their website. I will never be going back there and definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Over priced and gaudy. Nice facility, they offer you water drinks, I even saw some customers served fruits. But the quality of work doesn't live up to all the fluff. I've done shellac for 3+ years now, I have never had an air pocket in my shellac. I feel like you will actually have to try for that to be possible.
