I didn't look so great, but that doesn't mean I'm not a worthy and valid human being. I was sitting outside, likely looking awful with my face still bloodied up. I was hurting badly from the fracture I had. I was not able to walk another step. I only had about a block and a half to hobble home, but I was unable to do so. It took a long time to call an Uber. A lady came out of the bank and demanded that I leave, saying I had begged another customer for a ride home. I had not. I knew then that I had been profiled, judged based on appearance. What kind of financial institution would do a thing like that? I was in a lot of pain. All I could do was to tell the bank lady to leave me alone and hope that the Uber would come soon. That I know of, banks and other financial institutions are bound by law not to be discriminatory. Judging a person based on appearance IS discrimination. I made up my mind I would stop banking there. I cannot support a snob institution.

The Credit Union customer service reps are unable to remove you from the 3rd party providers they sell your info to, such as TruStage Insurance. The first time I called WestAirComm, they said they'd remove my information. Months later I'm still receiving junk mail. Today I call and am told * I * have to do the legwork to remove my address from TruStage. I call TruStage to be removed from their junk mailing list and the rep keeps asking me for birthdate and SSN on my policy. I don't have a policy!! I told them my birthdate it isn't necessary to stop mail coming to my home. In this day and age it's not wise to give out personal info to companies you don't have a business relationship with. Additionally, the West AirComm website is not up to modern standards. I've had wonderful experiences with other credit unions but this one is a joke.

Since I printed them from home (I no longer get paper statements), I needed to get the statements verified, stamped, and signed by a bank employee before sending them. All of this was done without complaint, hassle, or much of a wait at this very branch Saturday morning. I just wanted to thank the people who work here for their assistance. Kay also lives out in this area (but not for much longer), so when I need cash, I often use their safe, convenient ATM.

This bank is HORRIBLE for Small Business. My shop was closed 1 day and a piece of mail got returned…read moreback to them, and they stole all my money for a whole weekend and made my balance NEGATIVE $100,000, then charged tons of fees because of it. All they care about is charging fees and making your business suffer. I really wish someone would have told me how HORRIBLE this bank is if you're not Dick Scaife or Warren Buffett. They'll hold deposits back so they can charge you NSF fees on DEBIT CARD TRANSACTIONS!!!! When I called to work things out, the ignorant "woman" on the phone told me that I shold have money in my account before I charge things.. They lost 10 years of personal banking from us over raping our business and trying to clean us out. Shame on them!
