Horrible horrible horrible. Stole 600 dollars from me and said it was because my account was double credited. Would give a zero if I could.

Lancaster Mutual is HORRENDOUS, the premium went up nearly 50% in 2 years. After they denied a claim they assessed as caused by ice damming, we cancelled an upcoming renewal. Lancaster Mutual had already paid themselves from our escrow and over two months later we are still fighting to receive nearly $3k for a policy that never took effect. Members Last!

The property is located in an area where I used to own a get-away, and my heart is still drawn to the location. The property is roughly four acres with two homes. My sister was offering the property to me for well-below market value. In fact, the parcel appraised for $180,000+/- and my sister was asking me for $80,000. It pays to have a great sister! I thought it would be to my advantage to pay half in cash, even though I had enough cash to pay in full, and mortgage $40,000. Should be easy. My credit score was about 840 at the start of this process in June, 2025. I am semi-retired on Social Security, but continue to work part time, bringing in an additional paycheck, just to keep busy. I easily had enough funds to purchase outright. I have only one debt, a son's student loan that has always been paid on time. I previously had done business with Members 1st Federal Credit Union, they held a car note for me, that was paid in-full and on-time. Home run, right? Oh, no. It was a nightmare to deal with Glenn from Members 1st Federal Credit Union. Since I was purchasing from my sister, who had already bought a new place nearby, she allowed me to take possession before settlement. Nice. For some reason, Glenn at Members 1st had me change my mailing address with the USPS from where I live in Eastern PA, to this property three hours away. If that weren't odd enough, he also had me change the address on my driver's license (a CDL) to this address. Before I owned it! Crazy. But there's more. Members 1st took it upon themselves to add themselves as first lienholder on my Homeowner's Insurance - I didn't own the property. Is this legal? Since my sister was generous enough to allow me to spend some time at the property before settlement, I took it upon myself to transfer the electric bill into my name. I thought it was the least I could do, what with her allowing me to spend some time in the home before I owned it. Since it won't be my full-time residence, the electric company set me up to receive bills every three months. Members 1st started hounding me for an electric bill in August. I showed them proof that the account was in my name, and that I wouldn't receive a bill until October. Glenn was insistent that I send him a bill that didn't exist. Along the way, which lasted about three months!, Members 1st had me pay for an Appraisal ($650), a foundation inspection ($150), when they then requested an additional foundation inspection in September, I finally called it quits and contacted another mortgage institution. Through the Bank of Romney, I made settlement within a month. And yes, I had to pay an additional $650 for a second property appraisal that came in at about the same as the first. What a waste of time and money to deal with Members 1st! At the end of three+ month run-around, I must say that Members 1st Federal Credit Union was not customer-focused. I was a sure thing, great income/debt ratio, superior credit score, borrowing less than 25% of the value of the property, and instead of making this an easy process, I feel that Glenn was never going to do business with me and spent almost three months giving me a run-around. My advice, get your mortgage elsewhere.

After dealing with the nickel-and-dime tactics of PNC bank, it is a pleasant change of pace working with a company that actually cares for its customers. I have a vehicle loan with them; while I was away from home, I had an error occur on my account that had my vehicle flagged as uninsured, giving me a hefty fine. When I had realized what had happened once I had gotten back home on leave, I went to call them up to have the problem addressed; to my surprise, they had already corrected the issue and refunded the money I had already paid towards the fee before I had even called! I have had a couple other issues that have come up over the time I have been with Member's First, however they have always been quickly resolved by their friendly and helpful staff. If you are looking for a banking institution that doesn't try to nickle-and-dime you with random fees, has common-sense policies, and customer-oriented banking practices, Member's First will not disappoint!

We should NOT have to buy a new phone so we can access the app. The tech department has checked my device, the app, the version of IOS I am on as well as seeing that I can't access it through ANY browser on my phone, either. This is NOT a phone issue, but a COMPANY issue, and they won't figure it out with their vendor and FIX IT, but tell users to GET A NEW PHONE. If that's the fix, they should pay for a new phone for us!

This Bank is a total rip off. First if you take a look at your accounts they move checks around and…read moredon't process them in the order the come in. They will tell you they do but its a flat out lie. Its part of their scam with over draft fees. And don't worry the Office of Comptroller wont do anything because they are in bed with them and allows them to fleece you with no penalty. We had money in the account where it came to $60 short of covering all bills . Now I have no issue with over draft fee IF IT WAS COVERED. This bank will reject it and still charge you over draft fees even though they rendered no service to you. Now I have done banking with FNB bank and they have it where if you are short a certain amount say $5 to 150 they cover it and put up draft fee but you are giving till the end of that business day to bring your account up to balance or you will incur fee. That is VERY fair no issue at all because that is a fair model. Fulton does not do that. One the day in question all the money was put in the bank at 1 pm...every bit of it ( including over draft fee of 37). When we got home 1 hr later someone had held the money and rejected it which brought another 37 fee and then once they had fleeced us all of our money was put back in account. ALL in the same day. Its unethical and they do this to consumers they think is unsophisticated in their set up. No bank should be able to reject small amounts and charge you a fee at the same time for no service rendered. The bank don't give you anything for free so why should they prosper in that situation. I sent a complaint and what FULTON do is send out a letter with the hopes you don't get it or respond. They don't have the decency to call you direct. It is because they don't see you as a customer just a number. These are fact. Just take a look at your accounts and watch how they process it. Its call flipping where they will process the smaller ones with the hope of the bigger one hit your account for over draft fees. You will see checks that was processed before being processed again 2 days later when you put money in. Watch your accounts. They are doing it. FNB is a better alternative because as I stated they give you at least to end of Banking day to bring account to current. I have interview with newspaper and I plan on sending message to consumers that this will continue as long as you have BLIND TRUST with bank like theses that have only motivation to rip you off for profit purpose and hide behind The Bank overseers, Lobbyists and Bank Presidents who make Disgusting salaries for doing it. It is the working class who make the bank these disgusting over draft fees profits not the well heeled because they don't allow it. Wake up consumers!!!!!
