Some worship services are "contemporary," with a worship band and informal feel. Others are more traditional with choir and formal worship. Thinking, asking, and exploring are all welcome.

I attended an Episcopal church in Michigan even though I am a Quaker. Only Quaker Meeting House in Columbus is a silent meeting and I prefer a program meeting. So I found the closest Episcopal church. From the time I walked up to the church, I was welcomed by all. Enjoyed hearing the songs I heard before. The sermon was wonderful with a humor included. The coffee hour after I talked to many people and even given a welcoming gift. As long as I am in Columbus, I will come back. One thing I have learned is that the Episcopalians welcome those from different faiths to join them. In my travels in life, many churches I have attended judged you if you believed different. Since I or EBS didn't, this is a deal breaker for me.

This is the type of church that their is something for the whole family. They do 2 services on Sunday one at 9 am and the other at 10:45 am. This church does a wonderful job with youth. I went to youth group here and loved it and this where I realized who I was as a Christian! I grew in my faith and became a better person because of the staff here! If you have young kids, please check out the Vacation Bible School which is no doubt the best Vacation Bible School in the country! They do the best job at bringing kids to Christ! They have some of the best choirs you will ever hear! Their is always so much going on at this church that no matter what you are looking for in a church you can find here! To our community. For one another I was welcomed and cared for, and I've never seen a more genuinely authentic, intelligent and honorable Pastor- their Lead Pastor, Ken Harrell. A true blessing to have had this day be the first service the Lord has called me to. The love he has for our Lord, serving in life and in death, for his family, and for his church brought tears to my eyes. Falling down my face about the whole time- the love his church has for him is just as strong. I couldn't feel more blessed that the Lord wove so intricately and perfectly to lead me to Northwest Bible Church and I look forward to using it as a launch pad to soar for the Lord as Ken would say! I've gone to this parish a few times before during the summer with a friend who is a member here…read more Usually for holy days of obligation. They've got a sizable parking lot. Some at the side of the building by the front and more at the back. It fills up quickly but I've never had trouble finding a spot. This time, I came for the mass of the Immaculate Conception. A 10am Saturday service. It had been a while since I had been back and I didn't realize they were doing renovations. They weren't using the main sanctuary but instead used another room for the service. It was large and pretty open! Lots of people attended too. Many families go here, but I also saw a lot of retired folks, and even some young adults. The Clintonville neighborhood has all kinds of people, so it was nice seeing a good range of ages. The choir is pretty talented and I like the priest. He gives you some good nuggets to help change your perspective or make you think a little deeper. I'm sure I'll be back again since my friend regularly attends.

We were directed to the right place- turned out to be the "alternative" service, with rock music, a more casual, funny sermon, etc. Everyone was very nice, the sermon was interesting, and there was even lunch afterward. We rarely make it to church anymore with the baby, but I wouldn't mind coming back here, and the whole setup was fairly baby-friendly too- there were several at this particular service.

This a such a pretty Church! I havent picked a parish to join yet since my recent move to Columbus…read more My husband and I have been going here every Sunday morning for the 10:30am mass. It's nice to see such an active parish community, and they also have a full house for their masses. My husband prefers the Latin mass and is strict with which Church he will join. This is the only Church so far that is traditional enough for him. I dont believe they offer the Latin mass, but that's ok for me. I give St Mike's 5 stars not only for being traditional (which is so hard these days with all the Vaticain 2 people changing things) but because of how warm the community is, for how many children there are, and because how how pretty the church is. I dont care for the modern Churches, they look more like spaceships then they look like a place where I would want to attend mass. This Church has pillars and everything. The pictures online doesnt do it justice really. Mass on Sat is 8:15am & 4pm, and Sundays mass is 8:30am, 10:30am, and 12:30pm. They also have a bunch of times durring the week. Confessions are from 2:30pm - 3:30pm on Saturday and anytime upon request.
