Update 9/3/19: This crew replaced the damaged gutter by screwing a new gutter piece straight into the fascia board of my home... instead of using brackets to properly secure the gutter. Mitered cuts were not joined correctly and nothing was sealed at all. Morale of the story: don't let a tree service company repair your gutters. I won't be using this company again.

They had the stumps and branches piled so high you couldn't see over them (or if there were cars coming around the corner).....the employees sat, watched, pointed, and laughed as people were trying to navigate the dangerous intersection they created. Came back a second time...2 were trying to direct traffic but both were telling people different things....again creating a dangerous situation while the rest of the employees stood around watched, laughed, and pointed.

It's hard these days to find someone when you have a dead tree issue to respond in a timely manner and they delivered quickly. The price was also very reasonable for removal of a large, tall tree in our backyard that was presenting danger near our fence and power line, and Ben even offered a discount to me several days after I received my quote. I was already sold, but after that, it was a done deal and I didn't even bother asking the other tree companies where we were requesting quotes. When it came for the day to do the job, Ben and one of his workers were finished within two hours! They cleaned up well. They were able to quote a very similar price as another tree removal service but Grays offered a little more than the other service. They did a great job but my only complaint is my mother's HOA was breathing down her neck to get the debris cleared and she was having a hard time getting them to come out and finish up the job, and HOA's will charge residents huge fees for things like that. One reason for having them come out and cut the trees was to keep the HOA happy lol! Thankfully after a few phone calls about a week later they were able to come out and finally finish the job today. It's just important to take those things into consideration like HOA communities when taking these jobs because you can put your customer in a sticky situation.

The only problem is getting the tree debris removed, the removal truck and crew do not come until after the cutters have finished. As i write this, it has been a week since the first trees were removed, and we cannot get reply as to when they will show up to pick up the trees. The value for the service is good, but completion of the work is a problem. Grays must have good cash flow since we have not paid them any money until the work is complete. I would suggest contacting Ace Tree or Champion Tree to confirm their tree removal process prior to hiring Gray's.
