It's nice to see another breakfast restaurant popping up in this area, especially one with a slant towards healthier foods. I'm becoming mildly addicted to the carrot cake multigrain pancakes, which are probably my favorite item here. Though I typically get take out orders, I really enjoy the layout of this restaurant. It's very open, yet homey. The staff here are friendly and try to be as accommodating as possible. There are some nice little extras that one can appreciate, like having citrus infused water and coffee available at the front counter during wait times. The only ding I might give them is their menu items are a touch on the pricey side. But I am the type of person who's always happy to pay more for quality ingredients, so that certainly won't stop me from coming here. read more

I love First Watch as a restaurant concept but this location can do better. First of all, it can get extremely loud in there. Not a problem per se but what is jarring are the cooks screaming at the staff from behind the line. It's nerve racking. The staff can be seen eating from the dining room as well. I've gone twice and my food was good the first time but The second visit I was disappointed with my meal. I will return because I enjoy the menu but I just think a few tweaks could improve the place. read more

Disappointed. First, the yelp wait list option massively failed. The hostess did not have our names and was not accommodating even after seeing the confirmation. We ordered coffee and a kale juice. This was probably the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and million dollar bacon. The Benedict was average. The million dollar bacon, we wouldn't have paid 10 cents for. The picture was very deceiving, as our bacon came out cold and burnt. It crumbled when we tried to pick it up. As we were paying they did remove the charge for the bacon. I ordered biscuits and gravy. It too was average. The biscuits we nice, the gravy was good. The eggs and potatoes were cold and unappealing. I understand that we went on a busy Sunday, and that it was daylight savings. The disappointment comes from the many of other choices of good breakfast places we missed because we chose this dumpster fire. read more

I hate to leave a bad review on first watch because I like it so much hence at least the four stars but this location probably had some of the worst service I've experienced out of all the locations I've been to.food came out very cold, the party of four that sat next to us after we sat down got their food first and finished before we got our food. Our server abandoned us after we got our first drink and I was hoping to at least get a few pomegranate sunrise's but that didn't work out. This was my first visit to this First Watch! Since I am writing this review during times of COVID-19 I would like to say that they are operating at full capacity. There is no mask requirement and I did not see any employees wearing a mask. If you are worried to eat here for health reasons I would recommend to order to go so you do not miss out on the yummy food. I ordered, wanting a light meal and that is what I got. The Sunshine Granola Bowl was tasty, I especially liked the yogurt. It was not very thick which gave it a nice texture. Everytime I come to Denver, I have to come here at least twice! Once for their amazing avocado toast and another to try something else on the menu. Everything I've tried is simply delicious, but their avocado toast is still the best! Service here can be hit or miss. Sometimes the wait staff is extremely attentive and welcoming, other times they have messed up our order and not checked in with us during the meal. The food is good, but it can take a while to receive it. I like both the breakfast and the lunch menu and they serve lunch at any time, which is convenient when you're not looking for breakfast food, but the rest of your party is. The restaurant seating plan is very open, so it can get pretty loud during crowded times, but the atmosphere is cute and has a lot of natural lighting. I was really excited for this place when it first opened and it has good food, but the inconsistency in the wait staff is why I have to give this a 3 star review. read more

My husband and I were visiting family in Colorado, and everyone local said this restaurant was amazing! After a very short-lived issue with another large group pretending to be us, we were seated almost immediately. Peter, who I presume was the manager, was friendly and accommodating. True hospitality emerges when hiccups arise, and the whole team at FIRST WATCH were the epitome of customer service. As my large family bumped into one another like ducks in a bathtub determining where to sit at our two large tables, fresh coffee and water were in place before we even sat down. We were fortunate enough to have Stephanie and Erica as our servers. They were Johnny on the spot!!! Took our orders quickly and in no time our breakfasts arrived as ordered. Based on food only. Carrot cake pancake should come w warning. (Full of raisins) very dry. My chickichanga was burnt my potatoes were Burnt. Cinnamon toast milk looked old. I've had the one on 120th and I-25 and it was the complete opposite experience of this. They also sat us near a full blasting vent. Had to ask to move or my food would have been cold instantly. The toast is amazing, the almond butter seems home-made, and the service is friendly and attentive. Our server, Valerie, was professional, knowledgeable, attentive and patient. A group of friends and I went to grab brunch here. They were busy and had a wait. They told us it would be up to 45 minutes and when we asked them how much longer the wait was, the hostess said it's been 33 minutes and we told you 45 minutes to an hour. The bathroom stall didn't lock and someone had to hold the door shut for someone else I saw. Other than that, the place was a healthy brunch. A couple people I was with were kind of picky and asked for a couple substitutes. The waitress was spot on with the requests so thank you! We had a good time and would recommend it if you are not in a rush. I got the hash farm house and my boyfriend got the hilltop egg sandwich. They do not serve alcohol which is a great refresher when you're trying to take a day off from drinking lol. But the orange juice is freshly squeezed and delicious! read more

Nice features and decent food. Plenty of photos to look at so I didn't add to them. Overall I'd say it was okay enough. It's clean and pleasant in atmosphere. There are several egg white dishes and a good variety of menu items. I had the eggs with biscuits and turkey gravy along with potatoes. It's certainly enough food to eat so I like that fact. The bread or toast was delicious! Of course we went on a late morning in the middle of the week so we had no problem getting seated. I'm told it can get pretty busy at times. While I like the ambience I was not happy with the noise level. A full restaurant could be quite loud so I don't consider this a nice quiet place to go. Instead it is a place that busy people would enjoy. The service was quite good and on liquids just be aware they cost a fair sum. Overall it's a decent place to enjoy very nice food. On prices expect about $10 a dish so with tip you could have a breakfast for two reach $30 if you add drinks. I did join the online club so I received one entree free for a first timer. We returned a couple of times and I have to tell you...this place is growing on me! On one recent visit we shared the chickachanga breakfast dish...that is quite good. It's a load of food so worth a try. The dish has chicken, egg, and more wrapped in a thin flour tortilla and graced by potatoes. Fruit too to help with your tastebuds. Very nice! The menu choices are fun to review before deciding on your dish. This place can get busy but it's fun to stop in there every once in a while. read more

Our server was fun, happy and attentive. The Egg Sandwich was the best item we ordered, followed by the Farmhouse Skillet, Chile Chorizo Omelette and Carbonara Benedict. $20 each for our party of 5. First of all, the service is just the right amount of attentive without being annoying or obnoxious. Secondly, the food was amazing, and was correct when it came to the table. I first went to a First Watch in Florida so I was happy to see it come to Arvada. I love their Farmhouse Skillet and their tonic juices. The food and the ambiance in this chain restaurant is really good. It's very comfortable and somewhere you could sit and chat for hours. The part of town this restaurant is in usually is busy on the weekends but you can get in right away on a week day. They do have bar seats at a community table if you are looking for a fast breakfast. We tried the eggs Benedict and it was ok but the hollandaise was a bit week. The farmhouse skillet has tons of flavor with the roasted tomatoes in it and the freshly baked bread is the perfect accompaniment. Try to kale tonic if you are having tummy issues. We ordered the million dollar bacon, a Bloody Mary, and mimosa to start. All were delicious. My partner ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon and I got the avocado toast. I'd ordered the toast before so I knew it was going to be good. My partners salmon just wasn't up to par. I don't think it had anything to do with the chef's ability to prepare the dish, rather the salmon itself just didn't taste right. Our server, Stephanie, was wonderful! She was quick to replace the meal (we swapped out the salmon for the pesto chick quinoa bowl and it was AMAZING - highly recommend trying this power bowl) and she was kind throughout the duration of our meal. Nice new breakfast joint! I gave it 4 stars for the following reasons: The online app to add your name to the waitlist did not work, and the hostesses did not want to take names over the phone so when we arrived it was a 40 minute wait. We were only a party of two so we thought it would go quickly. Three hostesses were staffed. One literally = walked around looking at empty tables but did not grab a rag or even busing a table, one did not know what to do and the other was miserable at the cash register. The turnover was awful. Multiple tables sat uncleared and empty for 10 minutes at a time. The servers were bustling around and our server Jenni was AWESOME. Super accommodating to our health needs and really on top of everything! The food was super fresh and delicious. Hopefully the bugs can get worked out so it's an enjoyable visit from start to finish. read more

This is a wonderful new establishment to the Arvada Marketplace that has something for nearly everyone on the menu! The location is perfectly located off of I70 and Wadsworth which makes it convenient to travel to, and worth the wait when they have one! It is a must try for breakfast or brunch, and I will undoubtedly be back for lunch soon! Our server was hands down the most enjoyable aspect of the visit here! Shelby went out of her way to accommodate our needs in any way possible, including bringing out a sample glass of a beet juice I wasn't too positive about. With her recommendation and a quick taste, I was sold and readily taken care of. Shelby's other advice was to order a side of the Million Dollar Bacon.. by far the best bacon I've ever tasted!!! I've never been more disappointed in one of our staple restaurants. As we were walking in, some women were walking out speaking about how terrible the service is. I shrugged it off because I frequent the Northglenn one and know that sometimes some people are just off. But, wow, were they right. Our server, Karen, really made me want to leave the entire time. She was passive aggressive and not really available. I'm so disappointed. Also FYI: This location does not have a liquor license. Won't be back here. read more

Waitress was one of the nicest and friendliest I've encountered - I asked her opinion on 2 different juices and not only did she offer a recommendation she brought a sample over of the 2nd juice so I didn't feel like I missed out.
