My son was receiving services from them for a year and half. Half way through his supervisor suddenly passed away and he was awesome ... my son's main therapist Ms Kim was also great. After the sudden passing of the supervisor the therapist were left to dry... no direction no true guidance no one truly helping them help my child. Scheduling was awful other therapist would call off often ... For at least five months there was no supervision. No progress my son regressed horribly. When a new supervisor finally came out even she was personally aware at how bad they dropped the ball with my son. She apologize several times and promised she would help make changes.... Only after a couple of weeks i noticed how she was full of broken promises as well... so I decided to take my son out the program and Ivet had the audacity to pin the task of retrieving a table that was recently bought for my child and toys WE PROVIDED on his therapist !!! When i let her know we would find services elsewhere she was careless. Over a month ago I called the company to request the latest report they made on my son to assist with applying for ihss services since they were the last took with him .... I was told someone would reach back out to me .... Never heard anything !!!! Please find a better organized company

My Family and I really love this facility, we have had such amazing people join us in our journey…read morewith our sons future. From initial contact they were very nice and accommodating to our schedule and what we are looking for. Our direct scheduler has always made her self available to us by early on giving us all of her contact information and i can reach her easily by any means and if something were to arise she calls me right away to let me know if a BT cant or us running late. Our supervisor is also amazing shes also available to us rain or shine if we have any questions or concerns about programs. She comes often to over see sessions to better accommodate his programs to him and keep him challenged. Once that my son got really sick they both were checking up on him to make sure he is okay and as a mother that really made me elated because they dont see him as just a number or another case, they saw him as a child, like a family member and that will forever stay with me. His BTs are always trying new ways to connect with him and make sessions fun and different everytime. They are always asking how he is, whats different, any new favorite thing or songs. They also help guide me so i can run his programs myself once they leave so we can continue on striving foward. I cant rave enough about our team but aside from us his parents his bigger cheerleaders are his team. They celebrate just as hard as we do when he reaches milestones that at one point seemed lightyears away. I hope this review helps a parent feel more at ease about taking their child to ABA therapy at behavior frontiers . It might be a bit scary and difficult at first but if you have a great team to back you up it makes it easier and more rewarding.

She is absolutely unethical in her conduct, she delayed my younger one from getting services over 9 months and kept pushing back the start time, whilst my older one for a year and a half made no progress under her and she would not provide us any data or the plan of care, would not allow us to talk to his bcba or bi, and when pushed for input would become very inappropriate and threaten termination of care. We have now been with another agency and in 2 months my son has made more progress than he had in the 1.5 years he was at Brightwork. Stay away.

I'm glad a place like this exists - a one stop shop for many of the needed therapies + high quality of care. As well, because they serve a specific demographic, I feel that they are better equipped to handle the idiosyncratic behaviors typical of certain diagnoses. They have been flexible with my child's schedule and my child runs in the door when we arrive. I just wish they had another location closer to us.

I was told I would receive estimates and that someone would contact me to discuss them. A few days later, I received a call that I believed was related to those estimates. Instead, I was told the caller was a nurse and wanted to conduct a medical intake. I immediately explained that I had not been informed this would be a clinical appointment and that I first wanted to understand costs, insurance coverage, and whether Cortica was the right provider for our family before proceeding with any medical evaluation. I ended the conversation after expressing those concerns and was told someone would follow up with additional information. To my surprise, I later discovered that a charge had been submitted to my insurance and that I was assigned a patient responsibility amount. As a parent seeking services for a child, transparency is extremely important. Families should be clearly informed when a call is considered a billable medical service and whether it may result in insurance claims or out-of-pocket costs. My recommendation to other parents is to ask for written confirmation regarding which calls are informational and which may be billed to insurance before discussing medical history. I hope Cortica reviews its communication process to ensure families fully understand what they are consenting to before any charges are generated.
